39 Otsutsuki Devourer

I want to start this chapter with a small discussion on the direction for the future. I know a lot of people felt that the chapter where Shuji is finding his new identity was redundant but I just felt that acting as all these characters could make it easy to lose yourself. That doesn't really matter too much.

Main things are: should I keep Ddraig and Albion as sacred gears or give them human forms? I was planning on giving them human forms but I'm at a point where I can change it now without much problem.

The next big thing is the reveal to the girls. This is somewhat a spoiler but it's not 100 percent yet so go ahead and read my idea. My original idea was to basically say Itachi died a couple months after the memory was shown and he took over the body with his memory. This would explain why he continued acting as Itachi and decided to fulfill his plan and 'die' to Sasuke effectively giving him his new lease on life and starting his own. This is why I had given Itachi's eyes to the blood clone so Sasuke could get Eternal and he could rank up his new eyes from his new lineage that he gained.

I read a lot of comments and honestly it seems I was maybe thinking too deeply for a fanfic like this. I probably don't need crazily fleshed out characters and can just keep it the way it is. I can make up some bullshit reason saying that he needed to evolve and he needed to trick the Akatsuki. If I do this though I feel I just have to embrace the name Itachi. I don't really know how I pull off changing his name to Shuji. I have an ark in mind with the Akatsuki basically running wild in ATG and it basically becomes Shippuden.

Anyways please keep commenting and telling me things to change. I honestly read all of the comments and try to respond to most. I normally hate how authors just ignore all sense of criticism and ideas. I love the ideas and use them to keep the novel going in a better direction. This is my first web novel and I'll probably ask for more ideas in the future. I just wanted to give a big thanks to you all and enjoy the chapter.

Itachi was currently scanning his new body. He had finally accepted that he was no longer Shuji Okino. He was also no longer Itachi Uchiha. He was now Itachi Otsutsuki. Uchiha was his past but Otsutsuki was his future. It also did not make much sense to change his first name to Shuji in front of the girls he had met. Did not make too much sense if you asked him.

(YUP CHANGED THIS. It was pissing me off and was the main thing I just wanted to redo real quick without much time.)

Jasmine had recently gone to sleep as the stress from recently had been too much. This allowed Itachii to finally exam his new body and what it was capable of. The first thing he realized was that his hair had changed which was now white with black streaks. He also realized his eyes were basically as strong as 3 tomoe in base form currently. His ocular prowess had just grown that much from the bloodline fusion. As he was looking over himself her heard the system.

[Ding! Congratulations host on evolving. Due to your evolution the system has gone through a massive update! You will now be able to see more stats as well as examine your new bloodline!]

"That's great! Go ahead and show me my new Stats first.

Itachi looking at this went kind of wide eyed. His system now looked a lot cleaner and he now had numerical stats. He also could now see his soul strength which helped him a lot. Although he saw some things missing he decided to go down the list from the beginning

"Wow, that looks a lot cleaner. Can you explain to me the statistics and their averages?"

[Ding! The current numbers have been massively shortened for viewing pleasure. An average human from earth would 0.002 in Strength and Agility, and a 0.001 in Vitality. Your current Vitality is now somewhat stronger than Madara Uchiha when he was the Juubi Jinchuriki.]

"Wow… I'll basically regenerate anything as long as im not instantly killed right now…" Itachi said to himself in shock. Madara was at a level were even the writer didn't know how to kill him so they made this bullsh*t race that was somehow even more op. He could now lose half of his body and face and still regenerate. How was he supposed to be killed now?!

"Alright then… Can you explain to me my new lineage and why my Kagune Ukaku and Rinkaku aren't in my status?"

[Ding! The Otsutsuki Clan has always been a clan of ancient horned celestial beings. They have spent thousands of years traversing the cosmos in order to fullfill their doctrine which dictates that clan members must consume the life energy and genetic material of other worlds to continuously evolve, with the ultimate goal of attaining godhood. This has influenced the bloodline and changed it over time.The bloodline has become inherently inclined towards gluttony through years of stealing fruits of world trees and devouring the life energy of planets. Due to this the Otsutiki bloodline has always influenced it's users to search out these fruits and eat them so that they can further evolve. With your synthesizing of bloodlines however, your bloodline has now begun craving something of even higher power. Through devouring your other bloodlines it to has begun to crave more and now wishes to feast on bloodlines and skills to further itself and bring it closer to god hood. By being shown a new way to evolve and increasing its strength it will now continue to devour all future bloodlines and incorporate them into yourself bringing you closer to the peak. Your bloodline also devoured your Kagune Ukaku and Rinkaku to further itself as it was in your blood and will continue to do so in the future.]

"F*CK! I can't get anymore future bloodlines?! I guess it's not horrible considering I will still get their strength… What a greedy f*cking bloodline…" He said to himself.

[Ding! Your Kagune Ukaku and Rinkaku have now become even further evolved as your bloodline found it valuable to you. With it taking form in the blood cells your lineage found it fit to stay as it can continually evolve it. Due to this your Kagune may have undergone some changes.]

Hearing this Itachi Immediately decided to release his Kagune Rinkaku to see some of the changes. He had purchased this before he entered the test tube for his evolution, believing it would evolve with him which seemed to pay off for him. His Rinkaku came out of his back but instead of the red fleshy tendrils he was used to seeing, they were now an eerie dark purple. He could feel that it was now much more agile and sturdier.

"This is perfect… System, tell me what else my bloodline gave me."

[Ding! Your bloodline has added several abilities. You now have access to the full Sharingan Lineage up to the Rinne-Sharingan. These forms are mainly due to the Otsutsuki lineage and the Indra Otsutsuki lineage that was incorporated as the base of your new one. You are currently much to weak to wield these up to their full potential now but in the future you will be able to.]

"Holy sh*t! New form of Susanoo? I also get access to Rinne-Sharingan?! Isn't that the highest level of Sharingan!? With this I can do so much more.." Itachi thought to himself.

[Ding! You have also received the skill Gluttony as your bloodline is new tied closely towards it. Gluttony being one of the seven deadly sins will allow you to consume all with it. With this skill you will be able to devourer all magic, profound qi, and other energy based attacks. You may also devourer physical entities but it can be overpowered if the user is stronger. It will apply Corrosion to the enemy to help decompose it as well. This skill also allows you to devourer a body to recieve and incorporate their bloodline into yourself as well as any compatible bloodline related skills. This can lead to further evolving your bloodline]

"I suppose a skill with the name of Gluttony is fitting for the one called the Devourer…" he mumbled to himself. This was a skill that alone could project him to the top with enough time. He now had so much to use but he needed to decide for himself the path he wanted to follow. After giving himself enough time to think he had decided on the path he would follow for the upcoming future.

He had realized recently that while his sword skill stood out to many, it was mainly due to his use of Senbonzakura's Shikia and Bankai. He had still yet to learn any compatible sword arts that he could use in his standard form.

"System, buy me a couple manuals for total concentration breathing." he spoke.

[Ding! Purchasing for 400 CP!]

Suddenly in front of him was many manuals for total concentration breathing including the original form of Sun breathing. While many would think that it would be a lot more expensive, it was mainly because it would take a long time to learn. With these as a source he would develop his own breathing style that complimented himself. This would allow his swordsmanship to elevate to the next level while also being able to work with his newfound abilities.

With his new occular prowess as well as a total concentration breathing style, it would be perfect for him. He would than be able to use his ninjutsu and nen skills in tandem to create a incredibly hard situation for any enemy he may come across. This was also only the beginning. In the future when he used his Susanoo, it would be important to be able to preform proper sword arts not dependant on shinigami powers.

After thinking of this Itachi sighed to himself and looked up. He had been so stressed thinking of the plan that he had been planning but it finally paid off. He was finally on his way to the top and he would be able to continue soon.

"Wow… I'm really on my way to the top… I refuse to let my journey end so soon however. Once i'm down with this world it will only be the beginning… But I suppose that I should prepare for my upcoming future. It seems that soon I'll be providing a new show for everyone in the realm of chaos to watch and take part in…" Itachii said to himself with a grin slowly creeping on his face.
