40 Opening of the Realm

I'll start this chapter by saying thanks for all the support you guys gave me earlier. I really think I just burnt myself out with doing the crazy amount of chapters as well as it being my last week before spring break. I had a lot of motivation due to the amount of support I was getting and probably just took it too far. Doing that much work just was not good and my hand was completely cramped as well as me feeling like crap. Taking a day off made a big difference and I feel a lot better. The upload schedule will definitely change as I just can't do 3-5 chapters a day. It will more likely be 1 to 2 chapters a day now. With that please enjoy the chapter.

It had been 3 days since the grand battle had taken place between Sasuke and Itachi. The Blue Wind Ranking tournament had now ended leaving the top spots to have a chance to go into the Heavenly Basin Realm. This included famous sects like the Xiao Sect, Burning Heaven Clan, Heavenly Sword Villa, and Frozen Cloud Asgard.

While the tournament seemed to have run as normal despite the interruption; in reality, people were running around frantically trying to find more about the Uchiha. A clan with eyes so profusely powerful and a person that seemed to be a legendary figure that was somehow still alive. What was even more shocking was that someone this powerful was completely unknown. People knew that something big was happening behind the scenes but failed to know what it was.

However, Cang Yue, Chu Yuechan, and Xia Qingyue were still quite devastated. They did not know exactly what had happened to Itachi but they realized that there was a large shroud surrounding him. They simply could no longer see through him. When they looked back on their memories of him it seemed as if there was simply so much on his shoulders. This was due to seeing his past which was shown by that man Gojo Satoru.

They didn't know a lot about Gojo Satoru except that he seemed to work for Itachi and cared about him as a friend. They could tell however that he had definitely shown his past for a reason. It didn't even seem that Itachi had wanted anybody to see it. Itachi had been prepared to take all of the burdens onto himself all for his little brother. Thinking of this filled them all with immense sadness.

It seemed like Gojo Satoru had wanted to show them the burden he had on his shoulders and if it was worth it for them to follow him. They all realized this but could not deny the feeling they had for him in their hearts. Parts of them even felt insulted that anyone would think that they would leave Itachi knowing his past. He was the one that had saved them from the monsters they all had within.

He was the one that lit up their dull monotonous lives. For Xia Qingyue all she had been focused on was finding her mother and piecing her family back together. Only after she met with Itachi and slowly had her heart unmelted was it when she realized how flawed her thinking had been. She had ignored her family and burdened herself for a task still far out of reach. What use would it be to find her mother if her family was now even further torn apart? Only by spending time with Itachi and answering some of the thought-provoking questions he would often ask her, had she realized this.

For Chu Yuechan her life had always been blank. All she had ever cared about was cultivating and bringing honor to her sect. It was only after meeting Itachi did she then feel a warmth inside her cold life. Those months had spent with Itachi were unforgettable and thoroughly ingrained into her mind. She needed to see him so she could figure out what he had gone through. She felt her life was bad but seeing him made her feel ashamed.

Cang Yue had the most to owe to Itachi. Her life had been stressful due to the number of burdens she had been under. She had to worry about her father, her kingdom, and also the Blue Wind Imperial Palace sect ranking. It had been too much for her and she was close to breaking. Luckily in the midst of this, she had met Itachi who had eased all her worries. He had fixed the kingdom's politics, healed her father, and now raised their sect ranking. Even if he did this at the cost of his life or at the very least sustaining extreme injuries.

All of them were hurt to see him that way. The fact that he would go through such lengths for them and his brother further solidified their want to see him. They realized that he may be different when they meet again judging off what Gojo Satoru had said but they wouldn't care. They all had their reasons to meet Itachi but they all had one thought in mind.

"I can't wait to see you again Itachi…" they thought.

Many of the other clans were quite happy recently about Itachi Uchiha's death. Just the amount of power that he had shown at his age had left many sects scared. The Burning Heaven Clan seemed particularly excited. This was mainly because of Fen Juechen. He seemed to hate him for a reason that he refused to tell the rest of the clan. This did not matter however as he was now dead. They did not need a new genius popping up and creating his own group is what everyone was thinking.

Ling Yun and Ling Jie however, had also been thinking about Itachi recently. When Ling Yun and Ling Jie had seen his past they were in shock. To think that someone so close to age as them had gone through so much. Ling Yun really took it personally as he had found a lot of similarities in their stories. Ling Yun had always been hailed as a genius and this led to him having a dull outlook on his life.

Seeing Itachi's story and him being humble to protect those he cared for however had given him a new light. It had given him a goal to meet and he was determined to reach it. While he never expressed his care, he did care for his mother and brother. His father however had always been a sore spot for him due to his past. He had never liked the fact that his father could not get over a girl and focus on what was in front of him.

Little did Ling Yun know that this could have also happened to him had the tournament not been interrupted. Luckily for him, Xia Qingyue was now something he no longer needed to obsess about as he had found a new goal.

Ling Jie and Ling Yun were also shocked to see Itachi's sword arts. This was a new type of swordsmanship that they had never before seen. The grace in each strike and the message behind them was intoxicating for those who had dedicated themselves to the sword. This did not help that he was so close to age in them. They had in fact planned to talk to Itachi and ask to learn from him until he supposedly died.

Luckily Ling Jie had noticed that the three women that seemed closest to him had for some reason calmed down when that man in the blindfold spoke to them. This made them both think that there was something going on behind the scenes. For the next few days, they had spied on them to see what had happened and luckily there was a bite.

It could be seen that a day before the Heavenly Secret Basin opened they seemed to have been making plans about it. This led to new hope for the both of them that Itachi would definitely appear in the realm. For the first time, both Ling Yun and Ling Jie were united in their cause to find Itachi. They had always been devoted to the art of the sword and now they could see a new beginning for both of them.

****************************

It was now the day that the entrance to the Heavenly Secret Basin Realm would open. The day before Cang Yue, Xia Qingyue, and Chu Yuechan had gotten together and talked about what to do not realizing that two boys had followed them. They had all realized that they knew Itachi on the day he was injured and they ended up talking about how they knew him. This led to all of them realizing they all cared deeply for him and most likely loved him.

This however did not cause us much conflict as one would think. They all realized that Itachi had not gone and seduced multiple women on purpose. It was merely his natural charm and care that he gave all of them. They did however think about what they would do at the upcoming opening of the Secret Basin Realm. They were very confused about how he would show up until Xia Qingyue put her thoughts in.

"I remember that he had a skill which had allowed him to teleport!" she said suddenly remembering the time he seemed to teleport in the fight with the beasts. She had thought that it was just speed at the time but looking back at it made her realize that it most likely wasn't. This had led to several conversations about the scene until they had ironed out their plan.

This had brought them to today where they stood deep to the north of the Mighty Heavenly Sword Villa. It was around noon and people seemed to be excited for the opening of the realm. There were a couple of people in particular however that were excited. This was Chu Yuechan, Cang Yue, Xia Qingyue, Ling Yun, and Ling Jie. This was all for different reasons, however. Each sect could only send 7 representatives which were enough for them all to go. Luckily even though Itachi had been disqualified, the Blue Wind Palace was still able to gain a spot in the top 10. Suddenly LingYuefeng began to speak to everyone.

"The Heavenly Basin Secret Realm can only take 70 people at a time. This means that each sect can only send a total of 7 representatives. After entering the realm, you will only be able to stay for four days. After 96 hours, you will be teleported back here against your will. The only exception to this rule would be if you are dead…" he spoke calmly but it slowly became more chilling.

"Do not think that the Secret Realm only contains treasures and resources. At the same time, there may also be dangerous beasts and attacks from other factors! If you pay no heed to your safety and are driven by greed, you may very well lose your life! The realm is very huge and changes every single time. You may travel in a group or alone in the realm. With this, I wish you all good luck." Ling Yuefeng spoke.

This speech had left a deep impression on many people. This would be a great opportunity for most but it was extremely special for a few people. The 3 girls had soon grouped up while getting strange looks from others. It was odd to find two different sects teaming up with each other but soon shrugged it off thinking it was due to Cang Yue being the princess.

Ling Yun and Ling Jie also followed closely behind them to try and see if they could find Itachi and talk to him. They realized that they could be caught but they needed to talk to him. This was their chance to rise the ranks and follow their passion.

With this sorted out, a portal opened up and beckoned everyone with a 'Whoosh' sound. Soon they would all meet Itachi and learn much more about the world than they ever knew.
