6 Deception
"One..."
"Two…"
"Three….that's it, now we will break the door".
What followed that voice was a loud bang of the door getting knocked down. Their leader ordered everyone "Look everywhere. Don't leave any stones unturned".
Her voice was powerful enough to intimidate anyone, which is why her associates ran frantically through the place. She kept her gun ready in case she spotted any kind of violent activity.
"First floor, all clear". One of them said through their coms.
"Ground floor, all clear". Another person said. The house was total three storey and having two of them cleared could only mean one thing. If someone was here it has to be on the third floor. Their leader herself went to check out the third floor and did as thorough a search as she can, but she could find nothing there. Disappointed she finally said into the coms, "Third floor all clear".
"Ma'am there is a garage we are going in", one of them said. For a moment she felt a ray of hope which was soon crushed when she heard "All clear".
"How come this place is completely empty? At least the owner should be here…" she whispered. A subordinate of hers who was accompanying her for the time being said, "Maybe he or she went out for something"?
"I suppose". She whispered and then said loudly into her coms "Let's retreat. There is nothing present here. Keep tracking all the intergalactic transmissions taking place, we must find the intruder". She said and left.
They were headed back to IAEA while their leader fumed in anger. She punched the door with frustration and left a dent on when she couldn't control it. To this day she has never failed a mission, and she was determined to keep that record.
At the IAEA after briefing her report she was ashamed that they were nowhere. They weren't wrong about an intruder when they found a tiny spaceship. It was however mauled and damaged badly to retrieve any kind of data. It had a batch in it, but it was in a foriegn code which could not be determined by their system. Before they get invaded by something bigger they need to figure it out.
On her way out she ran into one of her teammates who was still wearing the protective suit. She asked him directly to satisfy her curiosity
"Why are you still wearing that"?
The person however didn't reply and coughed a little.
"Are you sick"? She asked and he nodded.
"Take a break. We are done for the day anyways". She said and left.
That man however went to a much deeper part of the building instead of going out of it. If you observe him closely you could tell that he was aiming for a particular place.
After a long walking, he finally found the place he was looking for. He closed the doors of the room to avoid any unwanted distractions and stared at the big machine. It had multiple big circuits and circular things that rotated in coordination. He found a chamber in the center of the machine.
The man took off his suit to reveal a body with a dark blue skin with multiple rows of scales and giant yellow eyes when he took off his mask. The man gave a triumphant smirk.

"One..."

"Three….that's it, now we will break the door".
When ZIA translated what their next move was he found a hiding spot back in a room. It was a big box like thing where multiple clothes were arranged neatly.
"One man is approaching us". He heard ZIA in his ears.
"Release enough charge to stun a human". He whispered back at her. That tiny amount of voice was enough to grab the person's attention who was looking for him.
He opened the closet and was about to shoot him when the blue alien pointed his watch at him and stunned him. He fell unconscious immediately. He found an earpiece connected with a long mike. "#####" someone said through the coms.
ZIA translated that for him and that's when the idea clicked him.
"What should I say, to give the same message"?
"Ground floor, all clear". She told him at a slower pace so that the Captain could understand her well enough to deliver the same thing.
He whispered the same thing in the coms. He took off the clothes the person was wearing and wore it himself. Luckily the suit covered everything from top to bottom. With the suit on him he looked exactly like one of people who were hunting him. He put the man back in the closet and came out wearing the outfit as him. Luckily they had similar height. It made him almost unrecognizable.
When their leader ordered for a retreat the Captain was beyond delighted to go to the IAEA without detection. This was probably the easiest way to go. He can disguise himself once he finds the machine.
He was almost caught when the leader found him in his suit. Luckily ZIA not only translated what she said for him but also provided him with a nice excuse.
"Just cough sir" ZIA followed it by the noise a cough makes. "It is the most common and simple explanation for covering one's face. He gave it a try and was delighted when the leader bought it.
When he entered the chamber multiple features were displayed in his screen.
"You have to select your features". ZIA told him. "First chose face shape".
When he opened that he was surprised to find so many options. "Why do they have so many options"? He whispered.
"They have created many options to maintain a certain degree of variations amongst the population. Having those will give oneself a unique and non confusing identity". ZIA replied to him.
"ZIA, help me choose the most popular of every choice". He ordered.
ZIA followed his command and told him every popular choice in the options. When he was done the machine started to work while it announced loudly "Initiating transformation".
That was loud enough to attract outsiders' attention which even made Captain Kazaliur worry.
Once he was done, he gathered up his clothes(the protective) suit and made a run for it. Luckily this building was far away from the main building, which allowed him enough time to escape as the workers gathered here.
It was amazing how a machine this important was left unattended without any security. Maybe they guessed outside security was enough.
In the coms that was attached to his suit he heard. "############" It was the voice of their leader.
"Close off every exit from the building. We have an intruder here, and we must catch him" ZIA translated that for him when he was close to exit number four and witnessed the doors close and multiple people gathering there to guard it. He was definitely trapped there.
