"Speak, creature." Acnologia spoke to the blue slime who was still trapped between the rocks.

'Ah! Well, I don't have anything to say other than asking you to not hurt me, haha!' the slime "spoke" again a bit embarrassed.

Acnologia didn't say a thing "Ok, I will not hurt you, I promised. But I must ask, Why can you speak with no mouth?" He asked.

The slime jumped up and down "I don't know! I am not even speaking. I can't even see."

"What?" Acnologia questioned.

"Well, I am a slime you see. No mouth, no eyes...you know." The slime spoke out cheerfully. "But the reason I am speaking to you is because you are using [Magic Perception] on me according to Great Sage."

Acnologia just listened "Magic Perception...?" It was then that Acnologia remembered the voice from a few days ago "If I remember, That voice said I have some Magic related skill...I'll think about that later." Acnologia mumbled.

"Ooh! I can learn it too? Great Sage you are awesome!!" The slime shouted in joy. He wasn't speaking to Acnologia, but rather to someone else apparently.

"Who are you talking to?" Acnologia asked.

"Hm? The great Sage, my Unique Skill." The slime answered "Hold on, I will see if I can concentrate my Mana, then I will be able to see. Hmmm!" The slime seemed to be struggling.

Acnologia just watched and let him do his thing, after a few seconds, the slime finally moved "Whoaa!! I can see!" It said. His body then jumped out of between the rocks now that he can see how he was trapped.

"Good for you. Then I will leave now." Acnologia sighed started floating so he can leave.

"Ah! Wait!!" The slime turned to follow Acnologia, finally after days being here, he finally met someone he could talk to "Eh? An orb?" The slime spoke out in confusion.

"I thought you were a human?" It said.

Acnologia stopped and looked back "What do you mean? I am a dragon, not a human."

"However I look at you, you are but a flying orb..." The slime said as it crawled near Acnologia.

Acnologia wasn't able to see himself, neither in a reflection or feel his body, unlike the slime who still have some of his 5 senses, Acnologia is nothing but a flying orb of blue light. "What am I now? What do I look like?" He asked.

"A big flying blue light!" The slime said cheerfully.

Acnologia then remembered [Error - Body Re-Construction failed] "That is what the voice said, so now I am nothing but a soul without a body. How displeasing!"

"Well, Great Sage says that as a soup, You can posses other creature bodies that are still in good shape." The slime said.

Acnologia sighed "There is nothing but rats, snakes, and spiders in this cave, no way I am entering one. I am The Dragon King for a reason." He said "Enough, I am leaving."

The slime grow worried "Wait, why are you leaving me, Let me go with you. Aren't we in the same situation?" The slime said.

"Hah! Same situation? How do you know that?"

"Well, Both of us are living in this cave, perhaps even looking for a way out, and... aren't the both of us reincarnated? We are buddies of the same problem!"

Acnologia couldn't help but grunt "How do you know I am reincarnated?" He asked.

"Well, Great Sage."

"Such a convenient skill you have." Acnologia said sarcastically. He then resumed floating away.

The slime looked at Acnologia for a second then jumped after him "So, hope you don't mind me."

Acnologia didn't answer him and just kept heading forward while the slime did the same...but that silence didn't last for long as the slime started talking about his life soon.

"Yaah, I was really shocked, I remember it hurt like hell, bring stabbed to death isn't a joke at all." The slime spoke cheerfully about his death.

"...Is that so." Acnologia mumbled. While they were crossing the paths and see which way is out, The slime was like chatterbox.

"And you? How did you die?" The slime finally asked. That question was on his mind since a while now.

"..." Acnologia recalled his last fight and grunted "...With the power of friendship." He mumbled.

"Hm?" The slime looked at him "Friendship...Hm, you are screwed then, that thing is more powerful than a nuke." The slime said.

"Oi..."

"Well, anyways, It is good that we got to re-live, Can't wait to do a lot of things." The slime laughed and added, completely ignoring the voice that just echoed on top of them.

"Oi..."

"Yes...Good...?!" Acnologia responded, but then he stopped and looked up with wide eyes to see the massive black reptile creature.

"Well this is Interesting..." The creature said.

"Mr...?" The slime who was going happy go luck stopped when he felt Acnologia not following, but when his eyes finally landed on the same thing as Acnologia "Mamaaaa!!!" He shouted and hide behind a rock.

"Kuhaha! A slime and soul with consciousness...if that ain't the most bizarre thing ever."

Acnologia looked up and mumbled "D...Dragon." flashbacks started coming back to him, to the time of his destroyed village, His blue soul started to expand.

"RRRoooar!!!" Suddenly Acnologia regained his dragon form and he roared his lungs out, making a massive shockwave, surprising the slime and the black dragon too as they opened their mouths in shock.

"Dragon...I will--" but before Acnologia can go further, his body exploded into small blue light Particles and he returned to his small blue orb.

"Geh! What was that?" Acnologia spoke as he felt dizzy and the wave of emotions washed away.

"I-is it safe to come out?" The slime asked while peeking out from behind a rock.

The black dragon looked at Acnologia was amazement and then he switched his eyes at the slime "It is safe now. He has regained his senses very fast."

"Oho! Very good then." The slime jumped out and walked to Acnologia "Are you alright? Mister." He asked.

"...Yes." Acnologia responded.

"It was just a burst of bent up emotions, it is fine now. Good thing you have no body. Kuhaha!" The dragon laughed.

After that everyone fell into silence and an awkward atmosphere loomed around.

"W-well...we should get going, right? We are trying to find out way out. Sorry for the trouble, Mister Dragon." The slime decided to break the ice and spoke.

Acnologia followed after him silently.

"Oh, you are leaving already? I wanted to speak more since this is the first time I was able to speak to someone." The dragon mumbled.

"Eh? What was that?" The slime asked.

"Wh- Nothing!! The Storm Dragon Veldora doesn't need company!!" The dragon shouted out, sending a shockwave in the cave.

The slime looked at him "...You want to talk?" He asked with a happy voice.

"A slime wanna talk to me? Humph!!"

"If you don't wanna talk then we are leaving." The slime responded.

"D-Don't be stupid!!!" The Storm Dragon spoke "Who said I didn't wanna speak?!"

'This guy...' Acnologia looked at the dragon and sighed '...Not very Honest with himself.'

'Tsunderi.' the Slime thought.

"Then , let us introduce ourselves...As you can see, I am A cute Slime...My previous name used to be Mikami Satouro, a salary man. Nice to meet ya!" The slime jumped and said. He then waited for the others to speak after him. His gaze shifted towards Acnologia...

"... Acnologia, Dragon." He said.

'Short! Have some confidence will ya!' The slime thought.

"Ehm! Ehm!" The Storm Dragon cleared his throat and then, he opened his wings "I AM THE STORM DRAGON VELDORA!!" He shouted. "It is your pleasure to meet me." He said proudly.

'looking at his appearance, this Dragon is scary, the other one too, but they both seem like nice guys up close.' the slime thought...

"I presume you two are reincarnation, right?" Veldora asked.

"How did you know?" The slime asked.

"A skill, again?" Acnologia suggested.

Veldora shook his head "Nope, Reincarnated people are not that rare to come by here in this world, but reincarnated people into monsters is the weird one." He said "A slime and Dragon, very intriguing."

"Ooh, there are others! Maybe we should go and meet them?" The slime spoke to Acnologia.

"Eh? Leaving again?!" Veldora seemed a bit lonely.

"You can come with us." Slime said.

"I can't." Veldora shook his head "I was sealed away here by the hero, she seemed like a delicate human so I didn't want to hurt her at first."

'...Simp?' the slime thought

"Did you get beat because the hero was beautiful?" Acnologia asked.

"Don't be a fool!!" Veldora denied nervously "It's not like that. Thought, it is unfortunate, I am stuck here because of her skill [Infinity Prison] It's not that easy to break through.

"How weak of you..." Acnologia said in mockery.

"You! I am not!" Veldora retorted.

"But how do we break the seal on the prison?" Slime asked.

"Who knows." Veldora shrugged, he then returned to his lonesome aura, upon realizing that he was stuck here for a long time.

The slime started to feel bad for him "Say, Mr. Veldora, Wanna be our friend?" He asked.

"...Kukuki...Kuhaha...KUHAHAH!! A slime wanna be a True Dragon's friend?!!" Veldora shouted.

" If you don't want to then we are fine." The slime responded.

'we?' Acnologia thought.

"DON'T BE A FOOL, I NEVER SAID NO!!" veldora spoke out. "If you insist, I will be your friend." Veldora was shy and happy, and it showed on his body.

Seeing this, The slime had an idea "Maybe not friends..."

Hearing this, Veldora's heart was crushed "Wh-wh?"

"How about Brothers, the Three of us?" The slime said in joy.

"Oi, Oi! Don't just drag me into this." Acnologia spoke out.

"C'mon, why not? This is awesome, we can be family in this strange new world. Pleas take care of me." The slime's body shined bright with light like the sun, almost blindly Acnologia, not giving him time to respond.

Veldora was stunned, his body froze 'Brothers? But I already have siblings?...but This is a bit different...'

"What do you say?" The slime insisted.

"..." After a moment, Veldora smirked "I don't see why. Alright, from this moment and on, we are brothers!" Veldora spoke "And as a token of our brotherhood, I will give you both names to live by. You just have to come up with a last name for the three of us." He said.

"But we already have names." The slime said.

"Fool, what kind of slime is named Minako something?" Veldora said.

"Ah! You have a point." The slime responded. Then he proceeded to think about a name, when he thought about the nickname [Storm Dragon] it clicked "That's it! How about Tempest, like the storm."

"Magnificent!!" Veldora spread his wing and shouted.

"Not bad..." Acnologia added, making the slime feel a bit shy.

"And thus from now on, I am Veldora Tempest, and you are Now Rimuru Tempest!" He said.

The slime the felt a warm sensation through his body and felt very good.

Veldora then looked at Acnologia and thought for a moment "Hmm, Acnologia, the name itself is good and one for a dragon...No, Keep it. You are now Acnologia Tempest!" He said.

Hearing that, Acnologia felt the same thing as Rimuru and he felt even stronger and his magic perception became sharper.

After the warm and family feeling settled, Acnologia looked at the two, Dragon and Slime talking with each other, he then thought 'Maybe...This is a sign, a sign for me to start over.'

"Say, Veldora, wanna come into my stomach? With my skill, I can analyze the prison from the outside and you from the inside." Rimuru spoke.

Veldora thought "Hm...Not bad. Ok."

"Alright then, I'll see you when we finish analyzing the seal." Rimuru said as he opened his slime body and exploded to cover Veldora's massive body.

Before he could be covered, Veldora looked at Acnologia "Acnologia...Take care of Rimuru." He said with a thumbs up. Then he was swallowed.
