90 Yaksuhi High Vs. Seido High 6

4th Inning, Top Started. Seido is batting.

Yakushi and Seido players all got in their positions. A siren rang signaling the start of the match.

Toujou walked to the batter's box. 'I have to score', he thought desperately.

Rei pitched as Kazuma gave him a signal.

"Strike!", yelled the umpire.

'To be honest, during this match, I have seen Kazuma and how he calls during the match. It's not bad I'm impressed it's second only to Miyuki', thought Rei on the mound. He pitched again and struck Toujou out.

Toujou walked back to the dugout anxiously, he continued to berate himself since he couldn't score some runs and ease the pressure on the team. Honestly, this is how almost all the players on the team currently felt.

Next came Haruichi to the batter's box. 'I will prove to them that Seido's lineup is not to be taken lightly', he thought gripping his bat tightly.

Rei smirked at Haruichi. He quite liked Haruichi and appreciated him as a batter but if they are against each other he is going to dominate him.

"Strike!", yelled the umpire.

Unfortunately, Haruichi was struck out and went back to the dugout.

Next came, Miyuki to the batter's box. 'The players need extreme motivation, and they need to see some hope so they can get their minds back in the game. I already see some players slacking off. Obviously, except for Sawamura, I don't even know what to think of him. We desperately need a run', he thought as he focused on the pitch.

On the mound, Rei calmed himself down, he doesn't know why but whenever he's facing Miyuki, he feels immense pressure and anxiety. Sighing he pitched a gyro to the inside.

A loud clashing sound rang as the ball hit the backscreen. Miyuki snickered, 'It was about time', he thought running and touching all the bases.

Seido's audience who had been silent all this time had finally busted cheering for Miyuki.

"Finally!"

"Miyuki Kazuya, is back!"

Cheered the audience.

Seido's players saw some hope in seeing Miyuki score a homerun. They promised themselves they would hit the next time they were In the batter's box.

Kuramochi high-fived Miyuki as he came back to the dugout. "As expected of you, captain", he said grinning.

"Hahahaha…as expected of Cap. I believed in you all this time", said Sawamura holding Miyuki's arm.

"Ah…soka", said Miyuki ignoring him.

"Don't ignore me! Just wait when I go to the mound", said Sawamura as he stomped off.

"This will teach that brat to not be arrogant", said Kuramochi looking at Rei on the field.

Meanwhile, On the mound. Rei couldn't hear anything it was as if his ears stopped working. He stood there shocked. 'I let my guard down', he thought as the homerun repeated in his mind. After a moment, instantly, these feelings vanished. His ears could listen to the noises again and his senses came back.

'Is this the effect of the cold heart skill', Rei wondered. 'Anyways, now that I'm back it's best I get my revenge', he thought.

Kazuma was worried seeing Rei's expression but after a while weirdly he seemed fine, so he thought nothing of it.

Yakushi's Dugout.

"I hope Rei's fine", said Sanada.

"Why are you worrying about that rude boy? I know he has the mentality that can't be broken", said Raizou.

Back in the field.

Next Maezono came to the batter's box and was struck out.

"3 Outs! Change!", yelled the umpire.

In Seido's Dugout.

'I was worried about Rei's mind not being in the game after the home run, but I guess I was wrong', wondered Miyuki.

"Get ready. Don't disappoint me any further", said Kataoka. Ochihai coach remained silent observing the players.

All the players nodded.

In the 4th inning, Bottom Started. Yakushi is batting.

"Seido has called for a pitcher change. Replacing Furuya Satoru is Sawamura Eijun", said the announcer before the inning officially started.

Sawamura and his teammates took their positions on the field.

On the mound, Sawamura took a deep breath. 'I got this', he thought gripping the ball in his hands. "All right! I'll send these balls flying, so the rest is up to you! Thank you for defending!", he exclaimed to the backfield.

"Shut up", said Kuramochi kicking him on his butt.

"Stop it", said Sawamura.

"Let me do it too", said Haruichi.

"You too! Haruichi", said Sawamura shocked and feeling betrayed.

'Sawamura, thanks for lightening the atmosphere of the team', thought Miyuki as he got in his position.

In Yakushi's Dugout.

"What kind of a pitcher is he?", asked Raizou.

"Basically, he's like Sanada-senpai but his pitching is not refined", said Rei. 'Though I think he has gotten better than the original because of my training'.

"Then I think we're going to win easily. I heard his pitching style Is dirty", said Raizou confidently.

"Don't be in a hurry. In my opinion, Sawamura Is even better than Furuya. Plus, his pitches are unexpected", said Rei smiling.

'Why does he seem proud when talking about Sawamura? He's your enemy what are you thinking', thought Raizou seeing Rei's expression.

"He can't be better than me! Kehahahaha…", laughed Raichi pitching an imaginary ball.

"Shut up! You don't even pitch! Go practice your batting", said Raizou.

"Damn Father! Give me food! Or else I won't practice", said Raichi as he shook him aggressively.

"Here, Raichi", said Rei handing a banana to him.

Raichi's eyes twinkled looking at the banana. He grabbed it and stuffed it in his mouth.

Raizou glared at Rei weirdly.

"What? I just had it in my pocket. You never know when someone needs it", said Rei shrugging as he felt Raizou's glares.
