61 Seido High Vs. Komadai Fujimaki 2 {RE-EDITIED}

DISCLAIMER: Because of the comments I re-edited the chapter and now the match will be longer. I hope it is better but it doesn't change the fact that Seido will be losing to Komadai Fujimaki.

--------------------------------------------------------

"STRIKE!", said the umpire.

Kuramochi walked back to the dugout frustrated.

Ryosuke came to bat next and was struck out. He swung and missed at each bat.

Seido fans cheered for the next batter.

Yuki calmly walked up to the batter's box.

"Hit it!"

"Yuki-san"

Cheered the audience

'With batters like this you won't be able to get a hit', thought Masamune as he pitched proudly.

Yuki let the first pitch go. 2nd pitch he fouled. And then finally Masamune threw the last pitch. Which Yuki hit it past the 3rd baseman.

"It went through! Masamune's pitch has been hit!", exclaimed the announcer.

Masamune glared at Yuki who safely made it to the first base.

"He's definitely pissed", commented Nishi seeing Masamune's expression.

In Seido's Dugout

"LEADER!!!", exclaimed Sawamura

"Calm down, Eijun-Kun", said Haruchi

"How was his pitch?", asked Rei.

"I don't want to admit it, but I was scared seeing a 160 KM fastball come straight at me", said Kuramochi.

"I bet he has other pitches he hasn't used yet", said Ryosuke.

"Masamune's pitches are hittable, don't be intimidated. Didn't you see Yuki- Senpai hit it", said Miyuki

"How can you compare us with Yuki-Senpai", commented Masuko.

Every batter in the dugout nodded agreeing with him.

Miyuki chuckled seeing their reactions.

Back in the field.

Miyuki came to bat next. He hit it straight to the center field.

Making Komadai Fujimaki's dugout unstable.

Yuki safely reached 2nd base and Miyuki reached 1st base.

Masamune clicked his tongue seeing 2 bases full.

"Focus!", exclaimed Renji.

Masamune nodded entirely focused on his pitching.

Masuko came to bat next and bunted since Kataoka instructed him.

Kataoka signaled a bunt to Masuko in hopes of getting Miyuki and Yuki home.

Masuko was struck out and their intentions were ruined.

"3 Outs! Change!", said the umpire.

In Seido's Dugout.

"Tanba, get ready", said Kataoka.

Tanba nodded and walked towards the mound.

"GOOD LUCK!", exclaimed the players in the dugout.

This brought a smile to Tanba's face.

In Komadai Fujimaki's Dugout.

"Do you know who's pitching?", questioned Masamune.

"I think it's their ace", said Nishi.

"Hoo, how is his pitching?", asked Masamune.

"Well from what I have researched he throws a 140 KM Fastball, Curve, and a fork", said Nishi.

"Not bad, then it seems they might be a challenge to us", said Masamune.

"Still be on alert since they have other promising pitchers which might be troublesome", commented Renji.

Nishi nodded agreeing with him.

"Well, let's see what Tanba is made of", said Masamune observing the field.

Back in the field.

Aku came to bat.

Tanba pitched a fork and struck out Aku.

'Tanba's best pitch is the curve so let's aim for it', thought Nishi coming up to the batter's box.

Tanba was entirely focused on this at-bat since Nishi was the captain of this team and he was one of the most outstanding players on the team.

Tanba exhaled and inhaled and pitched as Miyuki signaled to him.

Nishi didn't react to the 1st pitch and let it go with a usual smile.

'What an energetic dude!', thought Miyuki as he looked at him.

Tanba threw the 2nd pitch and Nishi swung back his bat and hit the ball, making it go over the fence.

Tanba stiffened on the mound as he saw the ball go over the fence.

"IT WENT OUT!", exclaimed the announcer.

Komadai Fujimaki's Dugout cheered. Players roared since their captain scored a home run at the start.

Yanaka came to bat next.

"4 Ball!", said the umpire.

Yanaka walked to the 1st base.

"Time out!", said Miyuki. He walked to the mound.

"You're not hurt, right? Your pitching has been a little off, how about you focus a bit more?", said Miyuki.

Tanba nodded even though he was annoyed by Miyuki's attitude. He knew he had to focus and pitch. Suddenly, for some reason, he felt pressure weighing down on his shoulders.

Tanba shook his head and got ready for the next batter.

The situation was getting out of hand the more Tanba stayed on the mound.

'Seriously this coach of ours, is gonna cost us the game', thought Miyuki. He saw Tanba struggling on the mound and wondered what the coach was thinking and why he didn't switch Tanba out already.

In Seido's Dugout.

'The coach has to switch the pitcher now if he doesn't we won't be able to make a comeback. After all the effort the team put into this, I don't want to go home like this', thought Rei clenching his hands.

"Get ready to switch out Tanba for Rei", said Kataoka grimly. 'Sadly, Tanba this is the longest time you'll get on the Koshien mound', he thought. He seemed to be stuck on something.

Instantly the player's mood improved since before they felt hopeless since they were getting struck out one by one by Masamune Hongo.

"Seido will be making a pitcher change. Switching out Tanba Koichiro for Rei Fujikawa", announced the announcer.

Rei sighed a sigh of relief and walked to the mound determined to turn this game around.

In Komadai Fujimaki's Dugout.

"It's a 1st first year"

"Are they looking down on us?"

Murmured the players in the dugout.

"Don't underestimate him. He's the real star on the team", said Kouzou, their coach.

Previously, before Koshien started, Kouzou had researched his opponents and watched videos of the pitchers on the team and what kind of pitches they throw. He was surprised to find Rei in Seido at first he thought Rei was the ace but found that a 3rd-year Tanba was the ace which disappointed him. He felt like the school wasn't giving him enough opportunities. If it were him then he would hone Rei's talent.

"How?", questioned Masamune seriously. Since the coach was praising Rei, it must mean that he has amazing skills.

"You'll know soon", commented Kouzou.
