Rei was in the batter's box. Kazuma was in the catcher's position and Sanada was pitching.

Sanada threw his Two-seam to the inside.

Rei reacted quickly and hit it.

Sanada smiled. 'Not bad, brat but let's see how you handle my cutter'.

After a few seconds, Sanada threw his cutter. Rei hit a foul off the 1st pitch. 2nd pitch was also a foul.

'As expected of Sanada's cutter, it was one of the best in the whole anime after all', thought Rei.

Sanada threw a cutter again and Rei hit a foul again.

'3 FOULS! So persistent. Hit it or let Kazuma catch it', thought Sanada.

"I think we should stop now we have been practicing like this for a few hours already I want to back to my dorm and relax. I don't have useless energy like Rei. So, I'm going to go now", said Kazuma as he left his equipment in the field and walked back to his dorm.

Sanada and Rei were dumbfounded that they didn't even get a chance to say anything.

A Few Minutes Later, In Rei's Dorm.

Rei was laying on his bed feeling dead. It had just hit him that they didn't have a solid strategy planned for the finals against Seido. All they had discussed was the lineup and the starting pitcher and obviously, that was Rei but what about the strategy they were going to use against Seido? Normally Yakushi never really planned for matches they just went for it but this match they should have it planned out because Seido knows their starting pitcher Rei's habits.

Since Rei attended Seido anyone will know that both teams are familiar with each other's skills that's why Yakushi has to be extra careful and plan strategies beforehand to have a chance at winning the Finals.

'That damned Coach, he doesn't even do his job well', thought Rei frowning on his bed.

Meanwhile, Raizou in his room was snoring without a single worry in his mind.

Back to Rei's Dorm.

'Anyways, I know it's up to me now to come up with a plan. Let's see I know mostly all the member's weaknesses. Seido is going with the pitcher's relay as usual. I watched their previous matches after I left the team is the same as it was in the anime. Since I know that me being a former member of Seido could have some changes in their playstyle which is why there are some factors to consider carefully. For example, what I did in Seido could have a big impact', thought Rei laying on his bed.

For a few seconds, he contemplated everything he changed from the original during his stay in Seido.

'The only major thing I can remember is that I trained Sawamura this might have an impact on me, but I don't how so let's see. We will have to deal with it later. I can't know everything. Another thing I'm worried about is Miyuki. I have literally no idea what to do with that four-eyes. He probably has my pitching habits imprinted in his brain. Well, I know everyone's habits from the anime and from staying on the team. I guess it equals out. I hope nothing troublesome happens during the match. Anyways I haven't checked my status for a long time plus I have been ignoring the notifications lately', thought Rei.

The Next Day, Morning, Rei's Dorm.

Kazuma was standing beside Rei's bed waiting for him to wake up impatiently.

Rei was snoring and sleeping as comfortably as possible. During the night he could barely get any sleep after seeing the reward.

"How is he supposed to wake up if you don't shake him and just glare at him, Kazuma", said Sanada who was also present in the room to wake Rei up.

Both of them had come to Rei's room to wake him up since today is the finals and they have to be on the bus after an hour.

"Che, I'm not touching him", said Kazuma.

Sanada chuckled and shook Rei. He shook Rei once and he suddenly rose from his bed. 'Nanda, wasn't he a deep sleeper?'.

Rei quickly got up without realizing his surroundings. He wore his uniform and went to the bathroom to clean up.

After a few minutes, Rei came out of the bathroom. "Oh, what are you two doing here?", he asked seeing Kazuma and Sanada just standing there.

"Aren't we late already, what are you waiting for? Let's go to the bus", said Rei as he grabbed his stuff and walked towards the dorm door.

"What?", said Rei looking back at both of them. He saw them both glaring at him with weird expressions.

"Is something the matter?", asked Rei.

Kazuma remained silent but prepared his fists. Sanada saw the fists and immediately replied, "Nothing...We just came here for you. Let's go"

Rei nodded and walked out of the room.

"Someday I will kill him", said Kazuma biting his fist in anger.

"He's our ace so forgive him", said Sanada chuckling as he dragged Kazuma towards the bus.
