'The team is currently getting ready for Koshien. Ah…I'm so tired. Well, I don't think we are going too far in Koshien since the team after that match is too exhausted, especially the 3rd year's. I bet they're happy just being able to go to Koshien. I know it is a great achievement but they shouldn't dwell on it and focus ahead. By now the cream's effects would have worn off Ryosuke's injury and Tanba still isn't pitching in good condition. I mean even if we use all our 4 pitchers during the match I still don't see us getting that far. Well, I wish us luck. Oh…since it's been a while let's check my status', thought Rei laying on his bed.

Rei was amazed seeing the differences in his stats. All his attributes had increased. Surprisingly, his cold-heart skill had reached the max level. Maybe without the skill, he would have messed up on the mound because of the pressure. All his skills increased by a level.

'Good progress…Now, let's check the mission rewards since the mission should have been completed', thought Rei. He clicked the [Mission] tab.

Milestone 2: Win the Quarterfinals.

"Quiet down", said Chris calmly. He was preparing strategies for Koshien.

"Yes…sorry", said Rei.

Chris nodded and focused on his work.

A card appeared in front of Rei emitting golden light.

Rei curiously touched it and a notification appeared in front of him.

'Gyro ball', thought Rei.

Rei smiled delightedly because with this pitch he would dominate his opponents.

'Finally, I'm going to be rich', thought Rei.

Rei nodded as that seemed reasonable so he decided to do his daily workout until it was upgraded.

Rei got up and walked to the bathroom to freshen up.

"AHHHHHH!", screamed Rei walking into the bathroom as he suddenly saw Kanemaru naked.

Kanemaru who was diligently scrubbing his back while singing was shocked seeing Rei.

The dorm bathroom that was attached to their room was only made for 1 person to use at a time, not like the saunas the team uses.

"My heart almost stopped, why are you in the bathroom right now? Whatever don't reply just get out I have to use it now", said Rei.

Kanemaru gave him a disgusted look and started arguing with him.

In the Room, Chris heard their bickering and barged into the bathroom.

He dragged Rei outside so Kanemaru could finish using it.

This infuriated Rei so he took his anger out during his daily workout.

After 2 hours, when Rei was done doing his workout, he suddenly heard a notification.

[The System is online and has been upgraded].

Rei sat on his bed as he was curious to explore the new features the system might have. If it didn't then he will be disappointed.

'Why is the upgrade like an iPhone upgrade', thought Rei.

'Yes', thought Rei regardless.

Reading the notification Rei was dumbfounded.

'DID I JUST GET A NEW PHONE OR WHAT?", thought Rei inwardly.

Rei sighed at least now he had a secure way to earn some coins.

"OII! REII! LET'S GO!", said Sawamura barging into Rei's dorm.

"Where?", said Rei calmly.

"D-don't tell me you forgot?", questioned Sawamura.

Rei ignored Sawamura.

"WE HAVE A MEETING ABOUT KOSHIEN! DON'T YOU REMEMBER WHAT COACH SAID", said Sawamura.

"OK, then let's go", said Rei as he walked out of the dorm.

"WAIT FOR ME", said Sawamura as he followed Rei towards the meeting room.
