Chapter 56- Love and lust

Yasmin bit her bottom lip as she looked across at the heavy brown curtains. Her racing heart made it impossible for her to relax. It was not the first night she had been with him in the same bed. She had this fluttering in her chest and tummy every night, but tonight it was nothing compared to the other nights. Her hands were itching to touch him, and she had to squeeze the bedspread to suppress her desire.

How could she remain calm when he was only a few inches away from her?

She could hear his breathing and feel the heat radiating from him, which pricked her back. She finally turned to face him and noticed him staring at the ceiling.

'Again!'

She looked up at the white, round light that was mounted on the ceiling.

It was supple and soothing, but nothing of the kind could entice someone.

Yasmin stared at him. Her pupils constricted as she tried to understand why he was so quiet.
