Chapter 397- The proposal
Derrek stopped pacing and looked at her with a squint. "Their perspective? What do you mean?"
Yasmin's smile became frozen. She wanted to stop talking about them, but Derrek wouldn't let her. She sighed secretly in a helpless manner.
"I can completely understand how you are feeling, but I am thinking about Grace and Dad too. There is no doubt that you and Declan will take good care of Dad. But he needs more than just the care and support of his sons. He needs someone who can give him psychological and emotional support, which he will not get from you or Declan."
Derrek sagged into his bed, lost in his thoughts.
Yasmin moved in closer to him and put her hand on his shoulder. "It's hard for us to imagine our parents breaking up. Seeing any of them find happiness with someone else is even more excruciating. But we should think about their happiness, shouldn't we?"
Derrek faced her with tearful eyes. "You have no objections."
