Chapter 237- A rude mistress

Declan stopped in the middle of putting on his clothes, his gaze moving towards her. His mood suddenly turned bitter when he remembered Caroline and her crocodile tears.

"According to Dr. Stevens, Dad had seen or heard something that made him tense." He clenched his teeth as soon as he finished speaking. "I suspect it is because of Caroline."

"Caroline!" Yasmin fully turned to him, ignoring the fact that he was changing his clothes. Fortunately, he had put on his trousers. His bare torso was exposed in front of her eyes.

Yasmin's eyes usually couldn't take enough of his attractive physique. This time, however, it did not cause fluttering in her stomach.

She seemed to be perplexed.

"Yes." He wore his t-shirt and came back to her. "She was with him when he woke up. I am sure she told him about the fabricated case against me."

Yasmin contemplated what he had said. She didn't doubt him.
