Chapter 155- The misconception
Declan's brows twitched slightly when he heard the word 'Love.' He had told her several times that he didn't believe in love, but she was always raising the same question. This was yet another indication that she had lost her memory.
He pulled his gaze down to his fingers and murmured, "You are my wife, and I care about you… a lot." He hurriedly added the last two words to give more weight to his statement and looked at her.
Yasmin let out a loud sigh and closed her eyes. "I want to sleep."
"Alright. You should rest to recover soon." Declan walked out of the ward with a sad expression on his face, pulling his phone from his pocket.
Yasmin looked at the door, and her mouth twisted with disappointment. 'This man still has reservations about accepting it,' she muttered dejectedly.
If Declan figured out that he loved her, he wouldn't have accused her of infidelity. He would have tried to resolve the misunderstandings instead of humiliating her.
