94 Chapter 92

"Good work today, Master Lawrence, you're a bit earlier than usual" Alfred greeted the Andersen patriarch.

"Thanks, yeah it surprised me too." Lawrence uttered as he handed Alfred his things. He had to go back home earlier than he intended to because Kate wouldn't stop nagging him. She said he has to be early in case Keith arrives early for dinner. She even told him to bring his work home, she said it's easier to drag his ass out if he is at home than if he's at the office, so he was told he can bring work as much as he wants. They've been married for over thirty years and she can still be as brazen as the day he met her. "Where is my wife?" She asked him to go home but she's nowhere in sight to welcome him back.

"Madam is in the kitchen." Alfred replied.

"Cooking?"

"Yes."

Lawrence shook his head and smiled at Alfred's confirmation. He somehow expected it but it still surprises him every time. Kate always accused him of giving their children too much freedom but she's no better than him. No matter how mad she gets at their two sons, as long as she knows they are coming home, she will make sure to cook their favorite food. She sometimes goes overboard to even change the curtains and have the maids do a general cleaning of their house which is already constantly maintained. She nagged those boys but she spoils them just as much.

"Should I inform Madam of your arrival?" Alfred asked.

"No need. How is she by the way?" It's been almost a week since Keith dropped that marriage news on them and Kate has been silent about it ever since. Their eldest son is not someone who would back down once he made a decision no matter how much they opposed it. He's worried about what's gonna happen tonight.

"Hmm, she seemed cheerful today." Alfred replied. "I guess Madam still believes the young master's marriage to an Omega is just a lie." Alfred said, adding his insight on the matter.

Lawrence chuckled, he thought the same. Actually he asked his secretary to get the list of their interns since Keith told him his wife is one of them. There were indeed two Omegas on the list, both of them are working as a member of his son's executive secretaries with one of them just recently got transferred from the Planning Department. He could see it for himself if he wanted to since their office is in the same location anyway though in different towers and because of that they barely run into each other given that their personal lift is in a different location too. He could but he wouldn't. Given that Keith was able to hide his marriage all this time means he carried out the whole thing with someone trustworthy and he can only think of Sam who would do that for his son. Sam is a very trusted friend of his and he would definitely keep quiet about all this even to him if Keith would ask. There is also the security team who would definitely see things but he couldn't go that route since the security team has been loyal to Keith from the moment he took the management of it. However he believes he could still get some information if he wanted to. There are so many ways he could check that if push comes to shove would give him the information he needs.

He believes that it's not that Kate is taking this lightly but it's the Omega part of it that she hasn't come to terms yet. Keith generally gives in to whatever his mom wants, however when he makes up his mind he can be very stubborn and will definitely clash with his mother. It's gonna be a problem given that Keith got that stubbornness from his mother. It's up to him to come in between them and if there really is an Omega wife in the picture, he still cannot conclude the best course of action on how to deal with things.

"Are you against having an Omega in law and a man at that?" Alfred couldn't help but ask his master and long time friend. He's known Lawrence since they were kids and he knew him to be fair and just. However, he would not take it against him if he would object to Keith's marriage as family values and traditions hold too much value for a family like the Andersens.

"Not really, I have always thought that my sons should decide their own future. I chose my wife and it was one of the best decisions of my life. I got lucky that the person I chose is someone accepted by society but I have long decided to support whatever my son's choices are." Lawrence replied.

Alfred smiled warmly at Lawrence, his long time friend never ceased to amaze him with his way of thinking, he was like that ever since they were kids. Despite his upbringing and his status Lawrence has always been kind and treats everyone fairly, he even considers a poor servant like him as his most trusted friend. "Your father must be turning in his grave hearing you say that."

Lawrence laughed so hard at his friend's comment. Indeed his father and even his father and those before him must be cursing him now on their grave. "An Omega Andersen huh? Hmm, Keith sure knows how to surpass me in pissing off our ancestors." Lawrence blurted out, leaving Alfred shaking his head with a smile.

Alex couldn't help but gasp as they passed through the Andersen's mansion's very long driveway. He gulped as he stared at the huge building in front of him. He's already in awe of Keith's house but it pales in comparison to his parent's house, if it can still be considered a house. He had a sudden urge to run away.

"It's gonna be alright." Keith whispered in Alex's ears, trying to calm the Omega's fast beating heart.

Alex nodded and took a deep breath to calm himself. He tried to straighten out his clothes to control his nerves. He's wearing a black loose knitted shirt which he usually wears to hide his growing bump. Since they came from the office he didn't get the chance to change which he belatedly regret now. He feels like his clothes are too casual to be attending a dinner event in this house.

"Good evening young master and to your companion too."

"Good evening Alfred, this is my wife Alex." Keith smiled at the older man as he introduced his wife.

"Your Alfred!" Alex blurted out excitedly at the same time. "I'm sorry it's just that you're exactly as Sebastian described." Alex bit his lip in explanation after seeing Alfred raise his brow at his words. "Sebastian spoke very highly of you." Alex added shyly.

"It seems my errant brother is not doing his job properly and focusing on gossip instead." Alfred smirked at the mention of Sebastian.

"No! No! Sebastian is working really hard. He's been a great help to us and he's been taking care of us really well." Alex vehemently waved his hands in response. He doesn't want to put Sebastian in trouble with his brother. He felt so guilty because Sebastian has really been a big help to him, he's taking good care of him and Bean. He wanted to smack his mouth for talking without thinking, Alfred will probably hate him now. He

"Well that's good to know then." Alfred replied dismissively and ushered them inside the house. Alex's face fell with Alfred's response, little did he know that the moment he defended Sebastian he already gained the approval of the older butler.

"It's fine, Alfred is always like that but he's a really nice guy." Keith whispered to Alex after Alfred left. The butler served them tea and told them to wait at the drawing room as Alex's mother is still busy with dinner preparations.

Alex fidgets on his seat, he keeps telling himself he was ready to face Keith's family and that he will do his best to make a good impression yet he screws up already. Sebastian told him that Alfred is an important part of this household and Keith's father values his opinion. What if Alfred says something bad about her to Keith's Dad? Will Keith's Dad hate him before they even meet? Alfred just left, did he go to Keith's father and tell him?

"Come here." Keith said, interrupting Alex's thoughts.

Alex must have been really tense that he did not think twice, he closed their gap and sat right down in Keith's lap. Just as he always does to calm himself, he buried his face at the crook of his husband's neck and savored the pheromones like some drug to keep him going.

Lawrence stood frozen on his tracks when Alfred opened the door to the drawing room. His trusted friend fetches him to meet the couple while Kate is getting herself ready. However he wasn't ready to see the scene right in front of him. A man was sitting on his son's lap and with the way Keith is caressing his back there is no doubt in his mind that this is the Omega wife and contrary to what Kate expects, it's real. It's definitely real.

"Are you calm now?" Keith whispered in Alex's ears. He noticed his father is at the door and he didn't want Alex to feel embarrassed if he learned that his Dad saw them in an uncompromising position. "You should go back to your seat now before they arrive." Keith said, giving Alex a soft kiss on his head. Alex nodded in response and took a deep sigh first before going back to his seat. Keith distracted Alex by serving him tea and he was glad that Alex didn't notice his father's presence yet.

"I hope your parents won't come soon. Can't we just go home and run away?" Alex asked, laughing at the ridiculousness of his own words. He then pouted at his husband, resulting in the Alpha pinching his nose affectionately. In retaliation, Alex tried pinching Keith's arms but it's just too hard from all the muscles that his efforts are in vain. Keith laughed so hard at Alex's disappointed face, he continued teasing Alex who is still oblivious of his father's presence.

Lawrence, on the other hand, holds off Alfred from announcing his presence. He locked eyes with Keith a while ago and somehow sensed that he didn't want his wife to know that he saw them. The way Keith laughed just now and how he looked at the Omega, Lawrence knew that his son had found his match and no amount of objection on their end would matter at this point.

"What are you both doing here?" Kate interrupted. She doesn't understand why her husband and Alfred are both standing at the door and not entering the drawing room. She was told Keith arrived already and she hurriedly changed to meet her eldest son.

"Hmmm, I just thought I'd wait for you so we could meet our new daughter in law or should I say son in law instead? What do you think Alfred?" Lawrence asked, turning to his friend.

"I believe both apply, maybe you ask him what he prefers." Alfred replied, leaving Kate confused.

Alex was surprised when Keith suddenly grabbed his hands and assisted him to stand up. Only then he realized that they were no longer alone in the room.

"Hi Mom. Hi Dad. I would like you to meet my wife, Alex."
