"What the hell is going on?" Lawrence Andersen's voice bellowed throughout the house. His voice was so powerful that some of the servants working flinched for a moment.

"I'm just preparing the house." Kate Andersen replied nonchalantly, not the least affected by her husband's tone.

"Are we expecting some visitors?" Lawrence furrowed his brow as he glanced at the servants changing the curtains on the living room.

"Keith called me last night saying that he's coming home today." Kate replied.

"Do you have to change the curtains just because your eldest son is coming home? If you exert that much effort in monitoring Kiefer's studies he might have graduated already."

"It might just be a curtain to you but I want the house to look clean and pleasant for your son. He has barely come home since he got that mansion of his. Also, don't start me with not exerting effort with your youngest son. Need I remind you, your sons are like that because you give them too much freedom."

"They're Alphas, your constant nagging and meddling is the reason why Keith rarely comes home. Don't you think I didn't know about all those blind dates you set up for him. Your son will not marry someone just because you asked him to. Why are you so fixated with your son's marriage anyway?" Lawrence said accusingly.

"Don't you want to have grandchildren? Because I do. I want to dote on my grandkids while I am still able to. If I don't meddle with your son's love life he wouldn't get married anytime soon. He's such a workaholic like you that he doesn't have time to meet someone. I'll be old and wrinkly before I see my grandchildren. I'll be the ugly grandmother who can't keep up with them." Kate replied.

Lawrence walked towards his wife and enveloped her in a big hug. Kate is a petite woman despite being an Alpha while Lawrence is a huge guy that his embrace almost covered Kate's whole body.

The servants subtly left the room once the couple started to get physically close. Despite their constant arguments, the couple are really affectionate with each other which is why none of them take it seriously even though the couple always raise their voice at each other.

"You may be old and wrinkly but you'll never be ugly."

"Don't sway me with your sweet tongue. I'm still mad at you. You call me a nagger."

"Well you really like to nag sweetheart. Just let your son be, he'll get married when he wants to. If you're bored you can go shopping or go to a spa and relax."

"I'm tired of shopping. If your son doesn't get married soon and give me grandchildren I'll throw all your golf clubs and drag you with me to go on a year long cruise."

"What?" Lawrence replied incredulously. "Okay, I'll tell Keith to get married soon and give you lots of grandchildren."

"Are you mocking me Lawrence Andersen?"

"Of course not, I love my golf clubs. I mean I love you the most, of course I will not mock you." Lawrence replied, grinning. "Okay, I'll leave you to whatever you want to do with the house, I'll be in my study." He said before kissing his wife passionately.

"Don't you dare leave the house today to go golfing. Also call Kiefer and order him to come home, I want to have a family dinner tonight."

"Understood." Lawrence saluted his wife. He may be one of the powerful people in the business world but when it comes to his wife he's just a normal husband. He may argue with Kate but at the end of the day, she will still be his boss. He wondered if his boys will be like him when they get married. Well with the way Kate is pursuing things, Keith might be married soon. He just hopes it's with someone he loves because he wants his son to have a happy life like him.

"Madam, Miss Simpson just arrived. She's waiting for you at the western tea room." Alfred, the Andersen's butler informed Kate.

"Thanks Alfred, please serve us some tea and then check on the kitchen and ensure the food preparation is going smoothly."

Alfred nodded and followed Kate to the tea room to prepare the tea as requested.

A sophisticated woman in her twenties awaited them in the tea room. She immediately stood up when Kate walked in.

"Hi Mrs. Andersen, thank you for inviting me to your house. I brought you some pastries, I heard you like them."

"Oh my, how sweet of you." Kate smiled as she accepted the box of pastries from her favorite bake shop. "Alfred, serve this together with the tea." Kate handed the box over to Alfred. "I'm really glad you could come despite the short notice."

"I couldn't say no to an invitation from you Mrs. Andersen." The woman replied meekly.

"I already told you to call me Aunt Kate, Mrs. Andersen sounds too formal." Kate smiled, trying to make the younger woman comfortable.

"Thank you A-Aunt Kate."

"Don't be too nervous, okay, my boys are a bit rowdy but they are nice and pleasant when I want them to be."

"Y-your sons are gonna be here? Is it really okay for me to be here? I don't want to intrude on your family time."

"It's alright, don't worry. I was the one who invited you so it's okay." Kate smiled. She's really liking her. She's sweet, respectful and innocent. She also came from a well to do family, she would be the perfect wife for her son. She's pretty sure Keith would love her as well.

"If you insist then I would be happy to join your family for dinner."

"Welcome home young master."

"Thanks Alfred. Where is Dad?" Keith asked as soon as he arrived.

"He's in his study with young master Kiefer. He's probably scolding him at the moment."

Keith nodded. He was surprised his brother came home today. Kiefer has been avoiding him and has escaped his security details numerous times. Though he has to thank his rebellious brother because if not for him he wouldn't have met Alex that night.

"How about Mom?"

"She's in the western tea room with a guest."

"Okay, thanks Alfred. I'll head to Dad first."

Alfred bowed and watched Keith headed towards the master's study. It's been a while since this house has been this lively, the madam would be delighted.

Keith knocked a few times before entering his father's study. He was expecting his brother to be inside so he was surprised to find his father alone.

"Where's Kiefer?" Keith couldn't help but asked.

"Probably in his room." Lawrence replied to his son. He headed to the small bar inside his office and poured himself some whiskey.

"Mom wouldn't like it if you drink before dinner." Keith said though he accepted the glass his father just poured for him.

"I don't know how to deal with your brother. He's too playful and relaxed and has no sense of responsibility yet. Maybe your mom is right. I gave you both too much freedom. Kiefer is still young but if he doesn't straighten up his life soon, I'm afraid he'll get dragged into the wrong path."

"Let me deal with Kiefer. Just make sure you and mom don't give in once he asks for your help."

"Thanks Keith. I'll deal with your mom. Just do what you can for that brat."

"By the way Dad, I have something to tell you. I want to talk to you first before I talk to Mom."

"If this is about all those blind dates your mom's setting up for you, just leave her be. Speaking of blind dates, she invited someone tonight so just be nice and don't anger your mom." Lawrence said before Keith even said something.

Keith sighed. So that's the guest Alfred was talking about. Sometimes his mom can be a pain, she has good intentions but is still troublesome. Good thing he went to his father first.

"Dad about those blind dates. I don't need one."

"I know. I know. I keep telling your mother about it but you know your mom. I can't even stop her when she wants something."

"No Dad. I meant I don't need a blind date because I'm married. I got married already."
