Alex woke up feeling uncomfortable for some reason. He opened his eyes with his head resting in Keith's arms as his pillow. He was welcomed by the pleasant scent of his husband's pheromones which prompted him to move closer to Keith.

Seconds later, he realized what was making him uncomfortable. The cast in his arms is preventing him from hugging Keith and it annoys him. It irritates him that Keith was surprised to find him pouting early in the morning.

"Good morning!" Keith kissed the top of his head as he greeted him. "Did you not sleep well? What's making you pout as soon as you wake up?" He asked curiously though Alex's pouting face is too adorable for him.

"I hate this cast in my arms. It's stopping me from doing things I want to do."

"Just be patient, in two weeks time the doctor will remove it okay? If there's anything you need I'll gladly do it for you."

"I just want to do it with you and I hate that I have this cast on my arms but then again because I have this Bean is safe so I hate myself for blaming this cast." Alex pouted tearily.

"Wow! I like the shy and meek Alex but somehow I love this bold and aggressive version of you. Hmmm but it's morning already and we're not at home. The nurses might come in any minute or worse your parents might catch us in the middle of doing it. Your mom accepted me but I don't think she would like me doing it with you in here."

"What in the world are you talking about?" Alex is bewildered by his husband's thought process.

"I guess last night was too enjoyable for you that you wanted to do it again. Hmmm shall I give it a go?"

"Grrrr! I couldn't believe you're such a perverted Alpha!" Alex punched Keith's chest with his uncasted arm, his face all red in embarrassment as he remembered how he moaned and screamed last night when his husband sucked and pleased him.

"Why am I the perverted one? You're the one who said you want to do it with me." Keith asked looking innocently but his eyes were smiling mischievously.

"I meant I want to hug you but this damn cast is preventing me from doing so."

"Well I thought you wanted a continuation of last night." Keith laughed heartily at Alex's adorable pouting expression. He was really glad Alex is becoming lively again.

"Ahmm by… by the way.. ahmm last night… were you.. were you okay? I mean.. I.. I was the only one who.. who ahmm finished. What about you? How… how… Did you get off?" Alex fidgets.

"I was fine, you don't have to worry about it."

"I… I'll make it up to you once I get this cast off." Alex said, hiding his face from Keith. He said that but he's not sure how he will do it, it's not as if he had any experience he could use to pleasure his husband.

"See you really wanna do it."

"Of course I do." Alex hissed, making Keith laugh happily.

"Did you have a good sleep last night?" Helena asked Alex as she brought out the food in her bag one by one.

"Y…yes."

"Why are you all red? Do you have a fever or something? I should go and call the doctor."

"Mom I'm fine." He felt so embarrassed thinking about what they did last night for him to sleep soundly.

"But you…

"Mrs. Fernandez, that looks delicious. Did you cook it yourself?" Keith interrupted when he noticed Alex getting flustered.

"What did you just call me?"

"I meant Mom."

"Get used to it already. The next time you call me Mrs. Fernandez, I am really gonna get mad." Helena threatened her son in law.

"Yes Mom."

"Mom where is Dad?" Alex asked.

"Oh, I asked your Dad to get your brother so we could all eat together. It's been a while since we last had a meal with the four of us."

Helena and Keith watched Alex become silent at the mention of his brother. The two of them nodded in understanding.

"By the way Alex, are you craving anything? If there's anything you tell mom okay? I'll cook it for you." Helena tried changing the topic.

Alex shakes his head. "I'm gonna throw it up anyway."

"Did the doctor say anything about his morning sickness?" Helena turned to Keith to ask her question.

"Doctor Lee said his morning sickness will be gone after his first trimester or at the early stage of his second trimester." Keith replied.

"That's good to know at least he's not having excessive morning sickness. I have hyperemesis gravidarum during my second pregnancy and it's really awful. I thought I would die." Helena shivers as she remembers her own pregnancy.

"I didn't know you had a sensitive pregnancy when you were carrying me. Sorry about that mom." Alex said finally understanding being pregnant himself.

Helena stared at Alex, she didn't initially understand what her son meant until she heard Alex's apology.

"Mom?" Alex stared confused at his mom's sudden silence.

"Hmmm?"

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, I'm just remembering things. I just remembered how bad you were, you gave me a hard time before and even until now. Lucky for you Bean is not as bad as you." Helena pinched Alex's nose as she gave her son a bright smile which dissuaded Alex's worries.

"By the way Mom, since we're talking about my childhood, do you remember if I have a friend or anyone I know named Lenny or something? I've been meaning to ask you that."

"Hmmm I don't know any Lenny, as far as I can remember, Dan is the only friend you would bring in our home. Maybe ask your brother later. He might remember it better than me. Why are you suddenly asking anyway?" Helena asked as she put food on Alex's plate.

"I'm just curious for no particular reason."

"Hey Keith, join us. We should start eating now. I'm sure your Dad is on his way. Here, take this plate."

Matt massaged his temple as they prepared for surgery.

"Tired already Dr. Fernandez? We haven't started yet"

"No, Professor, I'm just relaxing a bit."

"Your parents still nag you to eat with them during your break?"

Matt sighed exhaustedly, he suddenly felt tired as he remembered his parents. Alex is still in the hospital and his parents keep nagging him to join them for lunch or snacks whenever he's on a break. Honestly he doesn't want to see Alex and that Alpha yet so he avoided it at first. However his Dad or sometimes his mom would search for him which made people curious as to why his parents are in the hospital. He hasn't accepted his brother's marriage yet but it doesn't mean he wanted people to gossip about him given that his husband is someone well known to the public. Thus, he has no choice but to come when his parents call him. Fortunately Alex will be discharged tomorrow after his cast has been removed.

"Don't worry too much about it. Parents are just like that. I'm like that to my kids too." Professor Lee laughed as they headed inside the operating room.

Matt pushed away the thoughts about his family and focused on their patient first.

"Professor Lee! We have an emergency!" A nurse suddenly speaks on the intercom.

"What is it?"

"Sir, we have a pregnant Omega patient down at the emergency room. He's in his second trimester and he's badly beaten up after an assault." The nurse explained.

"Dr. Fernandez, you go and check on it. I can handle things here on my own."

"Yes Professor."

Matt removed his surgical gown and gloves and headed towards the E.R.

Matt flinched when he saw the state of the pregnant Omega. Thoughts of Alex's beaten up body came to mind and he almost gagged. He took a deep breath to calm himself up.

"What do we have here?" Martin asked the E.R. resident.

"Gio Lopez, 22 years old, male Omega, 22 weeks pregnant. We already treated his wounds when we learned that he's pregnant so we immediately asked for your assistance in checking the baby's status." The resident replied.

Matt nodded and asked the nurse to get the portable ultrasound machine. They may have treated his wounds but anyone can tell that this Omega has been badly beaten. He just hopes the baby is okay.

"Seems like the baby is fine Mr. Lopez, you did well in protecting your baby." Matt said to the patient after the examination.

"Have you reported this to the police?" Matt whispered to the resident doctor.

"Yes, the patient told us an Alpha assaulted him. He was scared as hell when he got here but we managed to convince him to file a report. Besides, even if he didn't consent, we are required to do so."

"Excuse me, is he okay now?" A man with a phone in his ears suddenly entered and asked.

Matt's face darkens when he recognizes the man who just walked in. He's an Alpha for sure and no wonder the patient is hesitant to report this.

"Ahmmm, excuse me. Am I not allowed here? I just want to check in on him." Chad asked, confused at the death glare the doctor is giving him.

Did he pissed him off or something?
