Chapter 54

Ivana traced her fingers around Keith's desk. She tapped her fingers on Keith's nameplate and walked behind the desk and sat herself down on Keith's desk. She swirled the chair as she surveyed the rest of the room. She can smell a strong Omega scent inside probably from one of Keith's assistants as she can smell the same scent of pheromones outside.

The entire room was exquisite, classy and very expensive. The person who would end up as the lucky Mrs. Andersen would have access to all these kinds of luxury and more. Not that she ever considered herself a candidate of sorts. She was just lucky enough to go on a blind date with "the Keith Andersen."

She met Kate Andersen in one of her shows and the Andersen matriarch took a liking to her and was ecstatic to learn that she's a dominant Alpha. She immediately asked her if she would like to go on a date with her son. She was hesitant at first since it was well known in the circle that those blind dates are just for show and that Keith Andersen has no interest in getting married. Her manager talked her into it, she said just go and get herself photograpped or something, use the blind date to advance her career further.

"You need to have another date or you should be seen with him at least just once then you'll be considered above others. It will boost your chances to be the finale in a lot of shows for the fashion week." Her manager greedily told her.

She kept calling Keith's office to ask for another date to no avail. She was out of the country for a while and only managed to get back last weekend. Her manager pestered her into calling Keith again. Luckily the secretary she talked to yesterday told her to come and see Keith.

"But where is Keith? Did that woman tricker her or something?" Ivana talked loudly to herself. She checked her watch and it's almost one, the secretary said Keith should be back by 1:00pm so she should get herself ready.

Ivana took her clothes off nonchalantly, being a model for so long took all her inhibitions. Her manager told her she might as well try and see if she can catch Keith Andersen's fancy.

Once naked, she sat back on Keith's chair and turned her back against the door. She planned to surprise Keith once he's back.

A few minutes later, the door opened so she immediately turned the chair around and seductively showed herself to Keith.

"Who the hell are you? Why are you coming inside without permission." Ivana screamed and grabbed her clothes to cover her exposed breast.

"Wh.. who are you?" The man asked Ivana, on his feet is a tray and a cup of spilt coffee. The man seemed really startled upon seeing her, well who wouldn't be if he saw some naked woman inside your boss' office.

"I.. I'm Keith's girlfriend of course." Ivana responded and she watched confusedly as the man's expression changed from shock and bewilderment to an angry and furious expression.

The man left abruptly and she was left there still naked and didn't know what to do.

"Alex what's wrong?" Keith asked, worried when he saw Alex's expression. His wife seems furious and angry though it seems that anger is directed at him which baffled him.

"I can't believe you would do something like this. I trusted you." Alex angrily replied. His chest is heaving from too much emotion.

"Alex calm down, let's go inside and talk." Keith tried to calm his Omega.

Chloe doesn't know how to make sense of the situation in front of her. Alex seemed to be mad at the boss and the boss is not getting offended that an intern is speaking to him in that tone. What's more surprising is the president is trying to calm Alex.

"No! I'm not going inside your filthy office. How dare you do that here." Alex raised his voice, tears now streaming down his eyes.

"Hey. I don't know what's going on. Calm down Alex." Keith replied gently, still coaxing the Omega to calm down. He signaled Martin to go and check what's going on inside his office. "Please Alex, common let's talk it out, we agreed to talk things out right? Breathe for a moment. Alex please." Keith said softly while slowly narrowing the distance between them.

"No." Alex continues to cry.

Keith slowly releases his pheromones to calm Alex down. He doesn't want to control Alex like this but he might collapse at this point. His breathing is already uneven.

"Shhh, it's alright. Calm down first we'll talk about this okay." Keith soothes Alex as he slowly calms down as a reaction from his pheromones. Luckily all his assistants are Betas and won't be affected by it.

"Ahmmm Keith, there's a naked woman inside your office." Martin said, clearing his throat first.

"You cheater!" Alex angrily said to Keith. He's too caught up in his emotions that he forgot where he is and now there are three women who are in utter shock upon seeing him and Keith.

Chloe was watching the whole thing with her mouth wide open. Dana was trying her best not to look shocked about it.

Meanwhile, Vera is having an internal crisis inside her head. This is not what she imagined would happen. Alex was supposed to be crying and regretting ever looking at Keith. He was supposed to be intimidated by a dominant Alpha like Ivana. He was supposed to avoid Keith. Why? Why is Alex getting mad at Keith? Why is Keith consoling Omega. Why is he accusing Keith of cheating on him?

Vera was too shocked and too confused that her face is as while as the snow.

Keith clenched his teeth upon hearing what Martin said. He would get to the bottom of it, for now he needs to make sure Alex is okay.

"I'm not cheating on you, so please stop crying." Keith pleaded as he held Alex in his arms. He slowly increased the amount of his pheromones since Alex is still not getting appeased.

"Alex?" Keith called out when he suddenly felt Alex's body getting heavy. He moves Alex's body away from him to check on him. "Alex! Shit!" Keith panicked when he realized Alex lost consciousness.

"I.. I'm calling an ambulance." Dana blurted out when she got wind of the situation.

"There's no time. Just clean things here." Keith rejected Dana's offer and impliedly instructed her to deal with whoever is inside his office. "Martin." Keith called out to his friend who nodded, already understanding what is needed from him. Keith gently picked up Alex intending to bring him to the hospital himself.

Chloe gasped as soon as Keith carried Alex out of the office. She was finally woken up from her shock mode.

"Meeting room in ten minutes. Meet me there both of you." Dana firmly ordered as she headed inside Keith's office to deal with the issue.

"It was you right?" Chloe said accusingly.

Vera did not reply to her and just stared at Chloe, her face was too pale and she looked like someone drained all the blood in her system. She lifelessly followed Chloe to the meeting room as ordered by Dana.

In her mind she still ask herself what went wrong.
