Accidental Transmigration to Another world

*Thaaaaaaaannnnnng* Such a metallic clanging sound was heard the moment Mino collided into the lamp post, smack dab. The violent collision was enough to leave a dent in the post while Mino was sent sprawling backwards. "Ah shit... this is not gonna end well..." A splitting pain in the forehead greeted him. He realised he was bleeding profusely. "Damn... I need help... and quick...." As he was lying down, helpless, a person came forward. Before Mino lost consciousness, he heard a few words accompanied by a warm gentle feel on his forehead. "[Light Conjuration] Heal".... Mino didn't know who saved him or how he was saved, but he knew one thing. The one who healed him definitely didn't belong to earth. And there were more people like him present. Just after that incident, more bizarre happenings started to pop up. All of them had one thing in common. The events were caused by them. Just who are they? And for what reason are they here? Apparently, all of them were not united. Mino got himself and his friends caught up in their enmity, and in an attempt to save his and his friends' lives, got themselves transmigrated to another world. Thus began their journey in the alternate world, to find out a way to home, and the truth of those strange people.

Winds Of Change

The same room from where Mino walked out. Silence permeated the whole room. A person can be seen sitting on the a swivel chair. That person appeared to be lost in thought.

Occasionally, his furrowed eyebrows would relax and sometimes they would fold even more. A thin trail of sweat could be seen trickling down that person's forehead. This person appeared to be extremely nervous. His good looking face was marred by the frown he was making. He finally leaked out a sigh and relaxed his shoulders.

"Fwuh...that boy. I think he hasn't told me everything. Since his head was damaged, there's a chance he may have forgotten something, but there was no way to prove he wasn't faking ignorance."

Making a mental note, he reached into his lab coat pocket and started searching for something. Fishing out a small number book, he flipped it open. Flapping through the old yellowed pages, he ran a glance through each page, searching for a particular number.

Finally, his eyes which were darting here and there finally stopped. It showed the name "Marcun" beside it. He took his cellphone out and dialed that number. He couldn't help but feel a bit nervous as the ringing of the phone *Toooot...tooooot...* entered his ear.

As he gulped his own saliva to moisten his dry throat, he heard a *click* sound, indicating that someone has picked up the phone.

"Oh Good afternoon Mr. Reinard Hostan! So whassamatter? I didn't know you were the one who would call anyone for some idle chit-chat. Don't worry, with a friend as supportive as me...."

A cheerful young male voice sounded from the other end. But that voice was mercilessly cut off by Mr. Rein's annoyed voice.

"You can stop joking now. What i am going to say to you might be crucial for us."

"Ah it's your fault for being serious all the time! C'mon, you seem to have gotten some leads about the hunters. Isn't it the time to be jovial and forgive others in a good mood?" The voice on the other end grumbled.

Helplessly shaking his head from side to side, Mr. Rein said, "Anyways, now hear what i have to say. A boy from the school which in I teach has supposedly encountered the hunters."

He paused for a while, as if trying to recall something and stated after a brief pause.

"He met an accident, but I don't know precisely how much wounded that boy's head was. But it was completely healed by the time he was brought here."

The young man's jovial tone disappeared. No, to be precise there wasn't any sound. He was absolutely silent. The sound of the blades of the fan whipping through the air could be heard.

"So...uh...you say he may have come in contact with the hunters but cannot remember anything?" the strained voice of the young man could be heard after an uncomfortable pause.

"Uh huh. It's just as you say. I'll try to talk with him and try to extract more information. I can't help but feel that the winds of changes have started to blow finally. Hehehe...." Letting out a throaty chuckle, Mr Rein stopped talking.

"I have told him about our existence..." Reinard delivered a serious blow.

"Y-YOU WHAT!!" Marcun nearly shouted out! If his expression could be seen, Reinard was sure he would see two eyes popping out.

"He's promised me he won't tell ANYBODY. He's a boy of his word don't worry."

Reinard heard a sigh of relief from the other side of the receiver. "Too reckless Reinard...And one more thinf. If the hunters really are making contacts with the common masses instead of staying under cover, then it is bad news."

Who knew what kind of stunt they would pull off to bait his group? Such dangerous questions started filling his mind. Shaking this image off his head, he said, "Talk to you later then. Inform this to the team."

"Of course i will!" came the reply. The owner seemed to have regained his jovial mood. *tut* The phone was hung up.

Sighing for the umpteenth time of the day, Reinard started spinning round and round, seated on his swivel chair as he closed his eyes.

"Winds of change huh? I sometimes really speak some strange things even without being aware of saying that. Let's see whether the change is for the better or for the worse..."

Mr. Reinard closed his eyes and was again lost in deep thought.

So, does Reinard actually know something about what happened to Mino?
