First Meeting

I woke up to the sound of someone knocking on my door.

"Miss Evelyn!" my maid yelled. "You have to get ready for the tea party." said the maid.

Right. If I remembered correctly, Evelyn meets the Crown Prince for the first time when she turns fifteen. That day is today. How am I supposed to avoid him?

The door opened while I was busy brainstorming about ideas to get away from the Crown Prince. I looked up to a familiar face.

"Marley?" I asked the maid.

"Yes, Miss Evelyn?" said Marley

Marley Tanzing. She was Evelyn's only maid. The other maids have gotten fired after Evelyn overheard them talking bad about her. Evelyn trusted Marley very much, but Marley was framed for a crime that she did not commit. Sadly her life had ended just like that. I won't let that happen now that I'm here.

"Miss, is there something bothering you?" she asked with a concerning look on her face.

"Oh..uhm what should I wear?" I said quickly after snapping out of my thoughts.

"Leave it to me Miss Evelyn." she said while smiling.
