The leisure time
It's time for Kalyan to go to the hostel, but Jaya refuses to send him this time; instead, she asks him to stay at home for a few more days. He adores his parents' devotion, great home food, outings with friends, a beautiful home garden, and a life free of restrictions, but he must move on in order to achieve his life meaning. He starts packing his belongings, Prathap asks Jaya to not force him to be with them, let him go on his way.
Friends begin sending group messages, requesting that Sidhu bring sweets to his parents' reunion and Kalyan to bring gifts for everyone as he successfully into the painting.
Sidhu offers to send gulabjamun, a milk-based dessert from India.
Kalyan asks for a list of what to bring. Sudha wants a black chocolate, Rajesh wants Kalyan's favourite navy blue tee-shirt, Syam wants Klayan's Chemistry note pad, Sidhu wants him to keep his chemistry records, and Kala wants Rabhindranatha Tagore's Geethanjali book from his home library. Except for the record preparation, Kalyan promises to bring all of the gifts. He agrees to give his record only for copying.
Prathap surprises Kalyan by giving him 10 thousand bugs while sending him off. "Now that you're an adult, I have complete faith in you; just go ahead. You have time and energy, but money is the cherry on top." Prathap says.
Students are pleased because the semester classes have not yet begun. All boys are gathered around the field to watch the cricket match, yelling for each and every ball. A group of girls is speaking in front of the classrooms, while a few girls play the guitar on the steps. Because it is rainy season and all of the plants are in poor condition, a small group of workers is pruning the plants, watering the grass, and planting new plants where the old ones have dried up.
The lecturers and administrative staff are occupied with new admissions and parent meetings. Klayan's class in charge, Raman, is in the corridor, issuing a warning to any student who enter the staff room or principal hallways.
After a month off, all of the bubbies return to college. They all congregate at the canteen, which is their favourite hangout location. Friends' chitchat is competing with the birds in the sky, and they begin discussing their experiences one after another, and the entire evening is dominated by josh banter. Kalyan distributes the gifts to everyone. In the canteen, the homemade cake, gulabjamun, is combined with the egg puff and the aroma of coffee. Rajesh and Syam put on a play in which they imitate all of their pals. A group of students sits in the background, irritated by the pals' presence. Friends begin to laugh louder, irritating them even more.
The departure of friends Kalyan needs to return a book to the library after a delightful talk, despite Kala's desire to take a book from the library.
"The semester hasn't started yet, but you want to take a book, and you're getting more studious by the day, shall I accompany you?" Sudha inquires with scepticism.
They both walk in the library corridor, "I bought the Rabindranath Tagore book for you. What did you bring for me?" Kalyan inquires of Kala.
"Nothing" Kala hides the truth in her bag.
"I know who you are; you brought something special for me; kindly hand it over to me."
Kalyan moves closer to her.
"It's for you," She got him his favourite ghee motichur laddus, her face blooms as full moon.
In his mouth, it melts like butter. "This is without a doubt the best laddu I've ever had."
He carries the whole sweet box with him.
They both go into the library and extensively check the books for the upcoming semester.
