Inner peace

When Kalyan arrives at Sidhu's residence, Sidhu's mother is not present. They're each practising what they'll say to her. She is a naturally relaxed and laid-back lady. She is a firm believer in forgiving and forgetting. She is a physical trainer and goes to girl's school at 8 a.m. She goes to the nursery at 3 p.m. because we have our own nursery and she has a master's degree in horticulture. At night, her excitement allowed her figures to cross at handcrafts, clay art, and terracotta painting. On weekends, she works hard to teach painting classes at a local orphanage. She doesn't have a single spare minute.

She arrives home on time and is overjoyed after seeing Kalyan.

"I have a good news for you guys" She is so happy.

"What is the good news mom" Sidhu.

"Isn't it true that I've been preparing to open a girls' school with all the bells and whistles?

The approval email from the concern department arrived today.

Soon, we will open our new school, a full-fledged school where I will teach a new curriculum that incorporates the arts and self-defense training into the educational process." Her dream came true today.

"You're on top of various chores, and I'm confident you've got what it takes to make your goal a reality." Sidhu

"Congrats aunty, it is the best of both the worlds." Kalyan.

"Thank you, Kalyan," she says as she hands the candies to Kalyan and Sidhu.

"Aunty, we have some exciting news as well." Kalyan

"Kalyan, what is that news?" Sidhu's mother.

"You are a loving mother, a responsible teacher, a brilliant entrepreneur, and a kind wife who looks after her husband's life dream; you are handling your responsibilities admirably on your own" Kalyan beats around the bush.

"Aunty, you've made all the right decisions for you and Sidhu so far, haven't you?

You must now make one wiser decision." Kalyan talks wisely.

"Certainly, what is that decision." She is curious.

"Mom, I met my father yesterday. He's entirely transformed, he's filled with deep sadness, and he's eager to see you." Sidhu open up finally.

"Can I have a glace of water, Sidhu?" she asks, keeping the sweet box on the table and looking down on a chain.

Sidhu brings some water for her.

"Hmm, how is he now, is everything fine?" she asks, holding a glass of water.

"He is fine physically, but not mentally," Sidhu says as he hands the phone on to his mother. They are both overjoyed and talk about everything over the phone. Sidhu is overjoyed to see his mother so happy after such a long period. She extends an initiative to see him.

In one hour, he is at her house. Smiles abound in the modest house, which is surrounded by plants and birds and no need of artificial joy in that home. Kalyan takes a picture of Sidhu's family.

Being in the company of a person's ambition has a far stronger bond than being in the company of another person. She accepted both his virtues and faults; she may have been physically separated from her husband, but she felt inner peace and fulfilment by carrying his goal in her heart. Sidhu's father may have been with another woman and was having a better time without any inner peace and pleasure.
