A blessing in disguise

The next day, Kalyan goes to his garden and picks flowers to use as colours and fruits for Kala and her family. With all of his energy, he rushes to Kala's residence. On the trip, he has a lot of ideas, intends to start a new painting, and then they'll head to a party in a few hours. He receives a conference call from all of his friends. They all found out about Kalyan's painting sessions and began to tease him and they are out of his hands.

"Please join me if you guys are interested in painting," Kalyan says.

"How could you ruin our peaceful time? We all worked hard and now have some leisure time."

They answer right away.

He's at Kala's house, where she's getting ready for the painting with her sister and father, all of whom are gathered in the drawing room.

Uncle do you have any unfilled imagination; we will make it this time.

My grandmother's house in Mysuru was where I used to spend my Dussehra holidays. I used to go to the Chamundi Hills when I was younger. The Dussehra festival in Chamundi Hills is one among my favourites. The goddess Chamundeshwari was the inspiration for the name of the hills. The panoramic view from the top of the hill is a visual feast for our eyes. I went there mostly to watch the festival celebrations from the palace to the hill, as well as the grandeur of the tiny temples and the Karanji lake.

Madhubhani paintings, on the other hand, are meant to reflect Indian epics, tradition, and heredity. I wanted to depict the people in the celebration, festival sceneries, and goddess. Previously, I attempted to paint Mysure city and Chamundi hills, which depict festivals, but after seeing your enthusiasm for painting, I'd want to paint it this time.

Kalyan and Kala assist Kala's father with the design of the base; it took several hours, but they were on top of it; late at night, Kalyan receives a phone call from his father informing him of his return home. Because it is already late, Kalyan's father prathap allows him to sleep at Kala's house. Kalyan is sleeping somewhere other than his bungalow and hostel for the first time.

He's had a completely different experience than before.

The following morning, just after breakfast, Kalyan and Kala begin their design work, with Kala's father joining them after his farm labour. They are able to create the design after many hours of work. The design itself is lovely, and Kala's father is quite pleased with it.

They hear the car horn, and Kala walks out to investigate. "Your car has arrived to pick you up," she informs Kalyan.

He promises Kala's father, "We'll do this art job sooner uncle," and reluctantly begins.

Kala and her family are expecting him the next day, but she receives a phone call informing her that Kalyan's car was involved in an accident the day before, and his right leg was fractured.

Her family visits Kalyan's bungalow to see him after she is taken aback. According to their family doctor, Kalyan should not move for at least a week. Kalyan get upset and he worries of the painting they are planning to do.

You don't have to worry about the paining; we'll take care of it once you've recovered; right now, your health is more essential to us than anything else; the rest is irrelevant."

Kala's father explains.

Kalyan's parents support him. Prathap says, "Just take care of yourself; we can acquire a bunch of those art masterpieces."

Klayan has no choice but to tell; all of his goals have been shattered in one fell swoop.

"Now we have a choice; you do not have to relocate, but you can paint if you have help; you do not have to come to my house to paint; I will personally come and assist you in completing this painting, dad!

Kala's father says, "I have no problem if he may paint here in his room."

The doctor says, "He can paint here without moving his leg."

For the first time, Kalan's father gave in and agreed to this bargain in order to make Kalyan happy.

The next day, Kala comes to his bungalow to help him with his painting.

Kalyan is all set to begin working on the painting.

Kala first explains the process of colour creating and mixing to him before preparing the colours for the painting from freshly cut flowers, leaves, and powdered rice paste.

When they're having a good time, time flies. "It's almost 2 PM, please take a lunch, then you guys continue your work." Jaya interrupts them to take a break for lunch.

Jaya, Kalyna, and Kala have lunch together, and Kala enjoys the flavour of the food. After a few minutes of talk, Kala glances over to Kalyan's book collection. He possesses a huge book library.

She wanders through all of the books and notices how beautifully arranged they are, with hundreds of historical fiction, science and technology, and literature works by a variety of authors.

Kala is perplexed as to how she could have overlooked the volumes on her initial visit. "When did he started reading?" she asks to Jaya.

"He started reading books when he was in school, started reading book after book and made a library with his read books. All of a sudden he stopped buying books and said I want to learn Madhubhani painting." Jaya tells to Kala.

I'm not sure why, but I'm always fascinated by history, a feeling I had even while learning Madhubhani art.

"I'll see how long you're interested in this painting," says Jaya, chuckling.

Even Klayan and Kala start giggling when they hear, "As long as I get the enjoyment of painting it." He replays.

They both finished the painting within one week of putting in the work, and Kala took it home to show her father.

Goddess Chamundeswari is depicted on a mountaintop, looking down on the festivities that began at the palace. Her blessing was felt throughout the city, festival, and even in the nature. Each and every detail was meticulously painted.

Kala's father is speechless when he sees the picture; he gently touches it and senses its deep meaning, and he expresses his gratitude to both Kala and Kalyan for the excellent work.

Kalyan might met an accident but his wish to complete his art work is completed with Kala's help. It is reallly a blessing in disguise.
