3 Chapter 2

Rias and the rest were listening to Koneko, who recounted the story from the beginning. However when she got to the bit where Accelerator popped the fallen like a balloon shocked them.

Rias bit her lip while Akeno blushed thinking about it. "I'm certainly sure he's just a normal human." Akeno looked at Rias before confirming her statement "Yes, he's completely normal if you ignore the fact he survived a bullet to the head."

Kiba, Issei and Koneko widened their eyes as they didn't know that information. "He survived a bullet to the head as a human?" all three of them shouted out. Rias nodded her head. Issei was simply thinking (Wow he survived with a bullet to the head!) instead of thinking (Holy shit he popped the fallen into a bloody splat!)

tap tap tap.

Rias tapped her pen on the desk while she pondered her next move.

"Bring him here tomorrow after school."

Koneko simply nodded.

Accelerator had it easy now. He was no longer the Board Chairman of Academy City, nor did he have to take care of a shitty brat that would run away every few minutes, nor did he have to deal with two old hags, one couldn't get a job and the other was messy. He was now a couch potato, a white edgy couch potato.

Accelerator was enjoying this, deeply rooted inside his heart, he felt peaceful. He felt peace, something he would never have had in Academy City. Still that nagging feeling came.

Negative thoughts started clouding his mind.

"You piece of shit, you should have never been brought into the world."

"Look it's the first ranked, heard you got beaten by a level 0"

"You monster!"

However a face popped up.

"Last Order."

"You meanie! Misaka Misaka says as she discreetly writes Gekota on the shopping list."

"Come find me! Misaka Misaka says as she feels happy.."

"Thank you says Misaka Misaka."

Accelerator let out a rare smile as he put himself to sleep.

The light hit Accelerator as he fumbled for his battery. His arm shakily grabbed onto the battery before it fell onto the floor. Accelerator grumbled as he tried to shift himself to the edge of the bed. He felt a light breeze and used it to his advantage by modifying the value of the speed causing him to shift right to the very edge of the bed.

"Shitty arms, come on!"

His arms reached towards the battery until his centre of gravity shifted and he fell onto the floor on his side. Miraculously the battery clicked perfectly inside his choker when his neck fell onto it.

"Fucking hell."

Grabbing his cane he looked in his wardrobe and decided to go with old v striped white and grey t-shirt. He didn't really care about people asking him about the choker as it wasn't exactly a secret as it was in his medical records.

Everybody stared at his neck the moment he entered class. Issei was the first to point it out "Hey what is that for!" Everyone in the class looked at him as if he was a dead man. One of them even whispered "Bro you're dead, d.e.a.d. dead" Issei gulped as this was the same person that turned a fallen into a splat of blood.

To everyone's surprise he just explained it as simply as he could.

"This is a choker style electrode that assists my motor functions after I took a bullet to the head. Green means that I can do simple and slow things like walking which is why I have my cane where as red just shuts it off, I only do that to save battery."

Issei and the whole class immediately shut up. One of the boys whispered "Damn he beat you guys up and he was nerfed with a bullet to the head! Jesus heck!" The a few girls whispered "I knew that Yuki had some kind of tragic backstory."

Accelerator simply took all of this as an annoyance as he put his head down to sleep. He had to reluctantly manually switch his reflection off and only set it to reflect sound.

He awoke to the teacher staring at him with fierce fire in his eyes. "Mr Kiyoshi would you kindly teach us about vectors?" Accelerator was surprised that they were learning vectors now as he scoffed.

The students thought the scoff meant no. Accelerator simply took his cane before limping over to the board and grabbing the chalk before solving the equations on the board and even going in detail towards university level. Accelerator mentally berated the teacher. "Tch who does he think I am? I deal with these on a constantly daily basis, I have to calculate these in my head!"

The class all had open jaws as Accelerator hobbled back to his desk before chugging down a can of black coffee. What even amazed them even more, was when he fell back to sleep immediately.

One of the girls was like "Look the caffeine monster is so cute when he is sleeping." The others soon joined. "I'm convinced now, he just acts tough but is so cute and sweet inside." Oh how wrong she was, if anybody where to take a peek into the mind of Accelerator, the only things they would find would be numbers and formulas along with 10s and thousands of dead bodies.

Frankly they weren't wrong either.

Deep inside his soul where his memories were kept, there were a few precious memories that made him smile and they warmed his heart.

Accelerator awoke to feeling something enter his AIM diffusion field as he woke up and saw the so called "School Mascot" Koneko Toujou. He reverted his barrier settings before staring at her.

"What do you need."

Koneko was to be frank, scared of approaching the very same person who brutally murdered a fallen angel. However when she stared into his eyes she noticed that while the outside showed a tough and menacing glare of a facade, the inside showed almost sadness, remorse and guilt?

Koneko still had to follow orders.

"The president of the Occult Research Club would like to see you."

Accelerator grumbled before asking his own question "Why should I?"

Koneko was given a back up phrase after Rias had conducted an investigation on them.

"It's just a meeting, plus Rias offered two cases of black coffee."

Accelerator thought for a split second, raking through the contents of the fridge which he memorises every morning. "No black coffee, it's just a meeting right?" with those thoughts he decided to go.

Accelerator did not have lunch so he was hungry and not to mention he put the choker to red to save battery.

Koneko watched as Yuki senpai struggled to lift his arms to his neck before the fell back down.

Accelerator grumbled as Koneko asked "Do you need help senpai?" Accelerator just grumbled before speaking "Just flick the switch to green."

Koneko looked at the choker before finding the switch and flicking it to green. Accelerator got up as he hobbled outside the classroom with his cane. Koneko simply stood there.

"What're you waiting for? I don't know where the place is!"

Koneko broke out of her stupor before leading the way slowly so Accelerator could keep up while hobbling along the campus.
