Explosive Return

With a loud slashing sound reminiscent of dragon ball's instant transmission, I disappear from the solo leveling world and end up back in tensura. My temple welcomes me and I begin to sense the situation around the world. It seems that Hinata's soul is possessing Chronoa, or rather, Chloe's body. They seem to be talking in Tempest's version of a city hall, so I teleport in.

Immediately, several people react to my presence and charge up attacks. I ignore them and look at Chronoa,

"Well then, it seems you all have figured it out?"

Rimuru sighs and sits back in his chair,

"Haaaah. Yeah. I suppose you came to watch the show?"

I teleport to the couch at the side of the room and nod at him. Using creation magic, I create a bucket of popcorn and begin eating it. Veldora loudly calls out,

"OH! I want some!"

I created another bucket and teleported it onto his lap, as he had been sitting on another one of the couches in the room. Sadly, Milim isn't here. She'd love this stuff.

Rimuru just sighs and continues on. Chronoa gives him access to information particles, some name made up by the author. Information particles are just atoms. So she's giving him access to Atomic magic. Rimuru enters his own little headspace and is kissed by both Chronoa and an aged up Chloe. He's made fun of by a tsundere Hinata, and eventually, Rimuru comes back from his little made up headspace.

During his little moment he had, Chronoa has fallen next to Hinata's corpse. Luminous comes in and looks at me with confusion,

"Finally decided to involve yourself again?"

I look at Luminous and say,

"Being a god is boring. You know? Taking care of the souls of your believers after their deaths. I figured watching a mortal use resurrection magic might be interesting!"

Luminous just sighs and shakes her head. Rimuru on the other hand gets a confused look on his face, but continues on anyway.

"Anyways, hello Luminous. I'm gonna interfere with Chloe's infinite prison. I need you to extract Hinata's soul. If we don't have enough energy-"

Luminous interrupts him and looks at me,

"I don't think we'll have to worry about that."

I look her dead in the eyes and say,

"I have no connection to either of these people. I have no reason to get involved in this. Even if both of their souls vanish from existence, I won't help. Do this with your own power. I don't wanna be rude, but it makes no difference to me whether or not these three girls live or die."

Luminous sighs and says,

"Haaaah, I thought so."

I continue on,

"Besides, I could easily separate their souls and even make all three of them bodies. But, that wouldn't be fun, would it?"

I smile at her with a shit eating grin. Haaah. Being a good guy in solo leveling really exhausted me. It's just so good being bad! Luminous lets out a tsk and begins focusing on their task. Rimuru points at a part of Chronoa's body, and Luminous uses her ultimate skill while calling out REBIRTH!

Hinata's soul is absorbed into Luminous' body as a rather significant amount of magicules leave her body and enter Chronoa's. Hinata's soul travels through Luminous' body and out her other hand, back into her own body. After pulling back, Luminous watches on as Hinata's body begins to regain its color. Hinata's eyes open and she lets out a mighty cough, freeing her esophagus of the dried blood inside of it. I speak up sarcastically,

"Welcome back to the land of the living."

Hinata speaks,

"Wh-who?"

But, she doesn't get enough time to wonder as an aged down Chloe jumps into Rimuru, hugging him tightly. I decide to play around with him,

"Pedo."

I say to him, accusingly. He looks at me and says,

"WH-WHAT?! HOW IS A HUG-"

Leon, who was in the room somehow… Like I didn't even notice him… How does this dude have like no presence? Anyways, he speaks up angrily,

"You better give us a good explanation!"

Rimuru looks at me and finds me holding my stomach, trying to suppress a laugh. His eyes say "TRAITOR!" as he watches me laugh. Heh. Serves you right! How dare you have sexual thoughts about Milim! I stand up and stretch while disintegrating the bucket of popcorn in my hands,

"Anyways, I'll be going now. It was honestly pretty boring, but it was neat seeing the roundabout way you guys had to go about a little resurrection."

Luminous scoffs and says,

"And how would you go about resurrecting someone?"

I smile and say,

"Like this!"

I teleport in front of Benimaru and slap his forehead, causing his soul to leave his body. As he falls down with a thud, I can feel the auras of every kijin beginning to rise as Shion runs to attack me. I grab Benimaru's soul and toss it back into his body as Shion's giant sword collides with my body,

"YOU BITCH!"

She shouts out as her sword connects. And… Bounces off. I grab her sword and yank, ripping it from her hands. I flick her on the forehead and speak to everyone in the room,

"He's alive, I was just showing her how I resurrect people. Anyways, that's how I do it, get it? I just toss the soul back in and bind it back. Easy as pie!"

I walk away as Benimaru shoots back up,

"What the?"

Shuna runs up to her brother with tears in her eyes. Well damn, now I feel a little bad. Meh. I'll give him a little power up. I raise a hand towards him and shoot him with a beam of pure magicules, making them meld with his body. I speak,

"Anyways, I powered you up a little. Toodles!"

With a wave, I teleport back to my temple.
