Who?

The Royals? Well, I shouldn't really be surprised about that. The Royals have had their eyes on Sin City for a while. Looks like they have finally got tired of those small ass cuts the sect keeps giving them, or should I say the crown prince?

"The Royals?! That makes no sense, we give them twenty percent of our profits." Tanya explained.

I scoffed, "Are you honestly surprised? The royals have had their eye on that place for a long time. The only reason why they didn't strong arm you into giving it to them is because of your connections. My guess is that you guys got complacent and thought that you guys were untouchable, so untouchable that you guys decided to lower your payment to the royals without any negotiation." I said as I looked at Tanya who turned away and blushed in shame.

I shook my head in disappointment. I honestly couldn't understand cultivators for the life of me. They say wisdom comes with age but I swear that shit is backwards when it comes to cultivators, their intelligence regresses with age. The older they get the more arrogant and with that they begin to make stupid decisions, they won't take advice or suggestions from other who are younger than them most of the time and if a conflict between the younger generation occurs and their relative ends up being on the losing end no matter how petty they will step in. They only realize their conceit when they find out that they messed with the wrong person and by the time they realize that it's far too late as they usually come to this moment when they are at deaths door and can only die with endless regrets.

The Immortlal Blood Sect cannot go to war with the royals. Even if they sold themselves to the Duan family that would just be suicide as they would have to give up Sin City for their protection and when that happens what use will there be in keeping them around? But the fact that they were bold to do this means one of two things; they either gained a backer bold enough to protect them from the royals, which is very unlikely in the eyes of most people or they stumbled upon an inheritance in Sin City that was so powerful that they didn't even hesitate to break their deal with the royals in order to protect it. My guess is the first theory but that's due to info that only I know out of all the people in the room right now.

"That foolish bastard!" Tanya yelled in anger, her aura grew out of control, causing Jesper to cough up blood and his organs were slowly getting pulverized.

"Calm down. You don't want to kill our only lead now huh?" I asked Tanya, she folded her arms, making her mountains push out as she snorted and gained control of herself again.

I waved my hand and healed Jesper from his wounds, not all of them though. Just enough for him to remain conscious and speak coherently, I didn't need for him to pull any funny business.

"So what faction was Talen part of and why was he even in this area of the academy? He doesn't live anywhere near here." I asked Jesper.

"Talen is part of the Vice Sect Leader's faction and he was sent here on his orders to kill you along with any other Seven Blessed from Heaven he finds. Talen was originally assigned to Zantar but since he is crippled I thought Talen was originally going to sit this one out but insisted on being assigned you. I agreed since we are part of the same faction and I was assigned to Lian Taiyang so I believed that this would be easy. Little did we know that the was another secret mission that we had to complete and we didn't know about it until the announcement." Jesper revealed, shocking Tanya.

"What mission?" Tanya struggled to ask as she began to take closer looks at the people in the room and the longer she looked the more shocked she was.

Jesper, seeing this smiled and laughed, "You finally realize it now huh? The Vice Leader made members of his faction like me and Talen the leaders of these extermination squads while the rest were members of your mothers faction. The plan was after we took out our targets we would turn on our squad and take out all our subordinates, that way we would take out a major threat to the sect as a whole and deal serious damage to the Sect Maater's faction."

"And since the reason for the squads was proposed by the Vice Sect Master and it was for the common good of the Sect she was none the wiser and thought that nothing was up. Damn, I have to say that it's a good plan, no wonder you knew who I was." I finished off and Jesper nodded his head in conformation.

I had to admit that it was a solid plan. They could even blame the deaths on the Seven Blessed from Heaven and no one would disagree since I'm sure that that's what most of these extermination squads are going through right now. But it is also a bold plan, the Sect Master is Duan Ru Feng's fuck sleeve and unless the Vice Sect Master knows that and has a backer of his own I don't see why he would be starting an internal war...unless.

"Jesper, does the Vice Sect Master have a backer? I mean he has to for him to be this bold and try to werstle away control of the sect from the Bloody Succubus." I asked as I felt that I was getting closer to the mystery.

"He does." Jesper nodded his head, "The person who is backing us this whole time and funding the civil war of the Immortal Blood Sect is-"

Before he could give away his backer a bright flash of golden flames surrounded Jesper's body and turned him and the everyone else in the room to nothing. Not even their ashes remained, the room was sparkling clean as if no one has ever stepped foot in here.

Who was that? Oh come on you have got to be fucking kidding me?!

"WHAT THE FUCK LIAN?! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" Tanya howled, completely unaware that Lian couldn't produce solar flames at that level, it was clearly impossible.

"It wasn't her. Look behind you." I explained already looking at the person who sent that flame that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.

I saw a woman who had the charm and demeanor of a true empress. A woman who truly believed she stood above all, not due to arrogance or background but because she had to power to be so and could back it up. She wore a lavender dress that clung to her body, making her curves more outrageous than ever before. She had a beautiful face with golden hair that when down to her plush ass and golden-violet eyes that burned like a nuetron star. But all of that was worthless when I saw the cultivation level of this woman.

She was in the Realm of Dao! She was a Dao King!

"Your highness! What are you doing here?!" Lian Taiyang yelled in shock as she kneeled immediately and Tanya did the same, I was the only one who remained standing.

The woman, who was looking at me as soon as she entered the room and still was smiled, "Well I didn't expect this to happen during my first few days at the academy now didn't I?" The woman said calmy as she slowly made her way towards me.

She tried pressuring me with her aura in an attempt to make me kneel as she sent a condescending smirk at me. I had enough of this already and decided to speed things up. A scarlet black aura formed around me that destroyed hers immediately and made her face pale as she looked at me in shock, as did Tanya and Lian.

"Now that we have gotten that useless shit out the way, allow me to make my greetings to the Princess of the Solar Dragon Empire." I said with my right arm across my chest as I made a half bow.
