Kitchen teapot

The third and fourth guards have returned and asked if where did they get those tea and cookies .

" Ah! I'm afraid I can't get back in here. I was ordered to wake up early, so I need a break tonight but, those who can help me prepare a bigger pot of tea may peer me in. Just be sure to return the kitchen teapot tomorrow, okay?"

" Okay." The soldiers were in duet and went with him in the kitchen. Arnick was then sweating and extremely nervous. But still he managed to assist the two soldiers. While having fun at the table inside the kitchen, Arnick made a scene, and by mixing a tea with mint leaves poured on a smoky water before he covered it. He has a goofy voice so he sang that made the two soldiers madly laughing. It's how he wanted to attract them on, so that George could easily knock them down and - yes, the lieutenant did. With the help of his dagger and Arnick's kitchen tools, the angry lieutenant quickly turned them under the rice hull after removing their uniforms. They worn both uniforms and brought some teapots, cookies and immediately went back inside the safe house number two. They passed by several guards chatting and George really looked sloppy to cheat his height while avoided his face out of the candle lights. From drizzles turned out into an average rainfall and made the nocturnal soldiers busy relaxing too. Expectedly, the two guards on duty followed them in and George again has knocked them down. Despite Arnick's pity to his Jap friends yet his perspectives changed after George came in that night. Though, he was a bit shock while looking at them dead and laid on the ground, staring, but after a second thought; he began to pull them off on the corner. Without him knowing, George had already brought Magee below and was about to return and pull him down under the bamboo floor when there were footsteps coming as a heavier rain poured out. George immediately signaled him to vacate so Arnick was teary eyed, grabbed the lighted candle and went down too, covering the ground back with a bamboo floor under the bed, along with a thin steel cover that they formerly brought from station one. It really made the area more safer due to its rusty color. Underneath, George immediately carried his unconscious wife.

" Uncle, we'll remove first this uniform before we keep going."

" Why?" He curiously asked but really started removing what he's worn.

" When we get out from the diverted passage, we might be mistaken by our team as the real soldiers from the barracks. We'll just leave these uniforms around, and there! I'm hearing their noise nearing inside the safe house. Faster! we'll go get out now!" George picked his wife again and quickly moved toward the passage. After few minutes of running with very careful mode since the overhead of the tunnel was too close on their heads. With a glimpse, George noticed a water from the leak so he put Magee on the portion where the passage was a bit near and told Arnick to watch over her while he went back to where there's a leakage overhead. There were pebbles, sand and soil falling so he used the rifle with bayonette to similarly stab the overhead and to Arnick's surprise, it gave up and the lieutenant just smiled and said hurrah, after all, its going to cover up the tunnel ahead.

" Wow! I'm a freeman now! I'm a freeman now! thank God! I'm...a freeman now..." Arnick knelt and cried from the bottom of his lungs.

But George grabbed him to continue their escape.

" Haha! hurry! its just temporary, they would still find this passage after they can shovel and dig it up again. Before they can do that let's make it sure we'll be in station one already."

" Where is that?"

"Just there on top, c'mon! let's not waste our golden time!"

The lieutenant began to trudge the diversion slope going to the river and they never went up straight to station one.

" So, meaning...this hole going up had been patched up and detour instead to the riverside."

" Absolutely! its not good to have that straight to the hideout. Oh, we're almost at the passage...there's light." George said.

" George! it's me Baldur!"

They both felt being rescued when they've heard gunfires in the air from the barracks. The anger burst in them again as ghosts suddenly attacked them again. But to the lieutenant and Amado's long lost brother, Arnick they're truly grateful to safely escaped. By the riverside, Baldur has offered some help to carry his pitiful sister but his brother-in-law opted not and he was crazily moving too fast so to give immediate medication to hus wife. Moving uphill wasn't easy, people from the barracks were on rampage to find the intruders. Still raining and Albrecht was waiting above the big mabolo tree and helped George in pulling in his badly beaten sister.

" Oh my God! Magee...where have you been? what happened to you...oh dear!" Despite his bubbly questions he carefully assisted George all the way inside station one.

Reaching in their former spaces made him remembered memories. However, he quickly sought for a medicine kit while Eunice and Alexandra offered some help but George refused, instead, he asked Baldur to help him cover the area with white cloth where he need to check his wife. He also requested Albrecht to send him some lukewarm water. Minutes later, after a thorough checkup he found out that there's one stabbed wound on her leg which he knew she just wrapped it before she's collapsed. He also had some head concussions, her back and waist were filled with beatings and her wrists were seemingly tied. While tidying his wife's body, he could not contain his anger and so much pity for her.

" Oh dear...you'll be fine soon I know that. Even if I'm just tidying you now but I could feel a story out of your wounds, on how you struggled that they could not touch you. I know they didn't, you didn't allow them too. You're so strong to resist death. I'm sorry I have left you that time, uncle Arnick told me there were three trained soldiers to pull you out of our house. I'm not yet done with them, they have to pay the price for hurting you this way." George thought while teary eyed and finely kissed her cheek.
