After selling his potions, Cao Huang went back to the alchemy room. Of course, he didn't come here to create potions but he came here in order to escape from the public's view.
The information about the fear negation potion could not stay hidden forever. As the time progresses more and more players will come to know about it.
Changing his appearance to Death, Cao Huang went out of the city. His aim was to get his level up to 10 in order to activate the teleportation array that lead to the city.
Vilariun had informed him about a quest that will award him with a lot of experience. His destination was a rundown hut near the Morning Dew Lake.
After two or three minutes he arrived at the lake. As it was day time; the whole place was crowded with players who were hunting level 3 Sand Crabs.
Passing through the crowd Cao Huang arrived at the entrance of the the Hut. Players who had visited this Hut in order to gain some kind of quest knew that the Hut was occupied by a handicapped old man but no-one except Cao Huang knew this old man's history.
The Oldman's name was Prusious. He was a war Commander from the Great Demon War that occurred nine hundred years ago. At his pinnacle, he was a peak Diamond Tier Character who had the power to contend against the Gods. Before the war, Prusious was elected to be one of the High Lords of the Radiance Temple. Unable to bear his jealousy; Prusious's subordinate betrayed him in the War. When Prusious was about to slay one of the Demon Kings; Demon King Volcan, his subordinate stabbed him in the back. Volcan then proceeded to use Greater Magic to kill Prusious, who at the last moment used a life saving treasure to save himself and escape from the battlefield.
Although, Prusious managed to escape his Death; he was mortally wounded by Volcan's Greater Magic and became crippled. From then on, Prusious started to live his life like a hermit and this Hut before the lake became his home.
Cao Huang walked inside the Hut and smelled the faint fragrance of tea that was lingering in the air. The Hut was too simple; containing a single rattan chair, a bed made of tree branches stacked together and an old pot.
Prusious was sitting in the old rattan chair; leisurely sipping the tea from the wooden cup he held. From no perspective, did he looked like an expert and from no perspective did he look as someone who should be unhappy with his life.
Cao Huang, who was standing before before the entrance was quite impressed by the calm aura coming from the Oldman Prusious.
He slowly walked towards the chair and nonchalantly sat on the bed. "Nine hundred years, I didn't expect that it will only take this much time for the mighty Prusious to loose his flare." The leisurely attitude of Prusious suddenly changed and was replaced with an intense killing intent. Even if he hadn't fought for more than nine years; the killing intent was strong as ever. He placed down the cup of tea before speaking with a grave tone. "Who are you?" Cao Huang didn't doubt for a second that if he made the slightest of mistake, he won't be able to get out of this Hut alive but still he remained calm and said, "Identities are just a burden, only the work has a meaning." Prusious gazed at him for a moment and then asked with a grave tone, "What do you want from me?" Cao Huang simply said, "Your soul!" Prusious stood up in fury, "What impudence!? If you really know me; than you should also know that I don't like to hear such words." Cao Huang started to laugh lightly and said, "Love it or hate, but it doesn't change the fact that now you are just an Oldman; vying for revenge that you're unable to take."
Prusious clenched his fists and said, "Do you think that I am enjoying just sitting here; unable to take revenge? Do you think that when I recall that day; it doesn't eat me up from inside? The hell do you know my feelings. If there was any other person besides me; he wouldn't have even survived the wounds that I suffered. It is my desire for revenge that has kept me alive for this long." Cao Huang stood there with a faint smile and spoke the devil's words, "That's what I am offering you." Prusious was startled, "What! what did you just say?" Cao Huang replied to the wide eyed Prusious, "I will give you your revenge, I will give you back your strength but the only thing I want in return is for you to pledge your allegiance; your soul to me." Prusious was lost for words. The lure for revenge was just to enticing so Prusious said with a defeated expression, "What do you suggest?" Cao Huang grinned widely and replied, "Good, now that we are getting along; I will tell you my plan." Cao Huang was going to explain his plan when he was interrupted him, "I don't care about your plan, the only thing I care about is that I want to kill Curzun by my own hands." Cao Huang didn't mind this; in fact he was even hoping for it. "And I care even less."

Part 1:

After receiving the quest notification, Cao Huang came out of the Hut and breathed a sigh of relief. "Acting like this took a lot out of me. Maybe someday it it will be helpful to me."
"Vilariun, Do you have a way to restore Prusious's strength?"
Vilariun immediately replied, "The only thing that can restore him is the Water Of Life."
Water Of Life is the name of the water taken from the Spring Of Life. Water Of Life is said to cure every type of wound and ailment. It can even bring a person at the brink of Death; back to life. It is an extremely precious treasure but that makes it even more difficult to acquire. Spring Of Life only produces single drop of the Water Of Life every five years. That's why whoever possesses a single drop of it; wouldn't want to part with it.
Cao Huang knew that finding such a treasure would be no easy feat. "So tell me, what is the easiest way to acquire the Water Of Life?"
Vilariun calculated the easiest way of acquiring the Water Of Life and after a moment said, "The easiest of way of acquiring the Water Of Life is by becoming a part of the Radiance Temple. But this method is out of question because the nearest Radiance Temple is more than three days away from here. By the time we reach there, majority of the mainstream players would long have reached Level 10. The next method according to my calculations is the most probable right now. This method requires you to infiltrate into the Society Of Darkness and obtain their trust. They reward one of their best with a single drop of Water Of Life."
Now that Cao Huang had realized the error of his ways; he wasn't to become a dark player. "I am ready to embrace the darkness. But it won't be Drifting Leaf that does it. It's time for Death to make it's debut."
"And how are you going to achieve that?" asked Vilariun intrigued.
Cao Huang replied with a bad smile on his face. "Is there any method more suitable to make a debut than to cause some ruckus?
"Haha, I look forward to it." Vilariun chuckled.
Cao Huang changed his character to Death and went back towards the Morning Dew Town to make some trouble but fate always has it's own plans. During his way back, he saw about twenty to thirty Crimson Drought's players surrounding two female players. He couldn't see the identities of the female players as both of them had a mask on their face but both of them had stunning figures. The woman in black had pure black wavy long hair that reached her waist. She had extremely ample bosoms, that were threatening to burst out from her clothes and the graceful manner in which she stood clearly should her elegance and bearings. The other woman in purple had short golden hair that reached her shoulders. She had an equally voluptuous figure but compared to the woman in black's elegance; she emanated a wild aura.
Despite being surrounded by a large number of players; both of them looked extremely composed, standing there without an ounce of fear.
"Did you think you can escape from the Crimson Draught after stealing what should be rightfully ours?" said the person who Cao Huang recognized as Crimson Fire.
"Yours? Don't make me laugh. We were the one to complete that quest. This means that item belongs to us." Said the woman in purple with a voice that clearly matched her wild nature.
"Hahaha, the area around the Morning Dew Town is the property of the our Crimson Draught guild. Anything found here is rightfully ours." Said Rolling Sloth who stood beside Crimson Fire.
"Your area? Do you really think I can take that crap of yours?" Again answered the woman in purple irritatingly.
"It's your choice if you want to believe it or not but believe me that the wrong answer will have severe consequences." said Rolling Sloth.
"Who's afraid of you. Bring it on." The woman in purple taunted the Crimson Draught members.
"Give it to them." These were the the first words of the woman in black who hadn't spoken till now.
"But-" the woman in purple wanted to say something but she was harshly interrupted by the woman in black.
"Give it to them so we can leave. I don't want to stay here anymore than necessary." ordered the woman in black.
"Leave? Do you think you two could leave just like that?" Crimson Fire said while blocking their path.
"What else do you want?" the woman in purple was really fed up.
"You have a nice looking equipment, so I want your equipment. You have nice looking masks so I want your masks and you two are also good-looking so I want you; preferably as my girlfriends." Said Crimson Fire while staring at their bodies with a lecherous smile.
"You!!" The woman in purple was furious at their unscrupulous attitude.
"I really like your souls, so give me your souls." a voice was heard by all of them.
