Ryan was startled by the man's invasion in his mind. He then recalled the last system notification and nodded in realization. "So its like that. Hmph! "
" I will use your body well boy, because I was known all over the lands as the most talented warrior, your face will grace all over the media with alot of reputation, so, be obedient and let me absorb you. I assure you that it will not be painful, I will make it painless as a token of appreciation for giving me your body. " RA Hul said rudely pointing while his fingers at him.
" Old man, you are already this old, you should give a chance to the younger generation also. What will you achieve with your old age actually? You are a step into the grave alright. Moreover, many things have changed from your time, don't you know that? " Ryan stomped his foot on the ground in displeasure. This guy just appeared out of nowhere and started ordering him around? Who did he thought he was?
Ryan continued angrily, "you will die once again without an achievement. I assure you. just stop your delusional thinking and return to where you came from or else, you will not have that chance once I make a move on you! " Ryan warned the green robed man indifferently while preparing himself to teach the arrogant old man a lesson.

"So ignorant and infuriating, there is no need for me to speak to you, I will be sending you on your way very soon. " The old man assured Ryan with a demeaning look overpoweringly as if talking to an annoying fly, prejudice fully evident on his face.

A vortex formed on the green robed man's abdomen releasing green vines like worms while his eyes glowed with a tint of green.
"Ooh shit! where am I, what is this place? "Ryan was shocked by Ra Hul's move, thinking that Ra Hul was going to fight him the way he used to fight in his previous life when he was a soldier. But here, things were different.
He was very confident of bringing down the old man with his military prowess, but this! He turned around and flee, Ryan tried to summon his consciousness to get out of his soul space but nothing was working.
"This is crazy, how will I fight that thing. " he thought frustratedly as he continue to run on like a lunatic in his soul space.
The next instance his face changed.
"Where do you think you are running to boy? Offer your soul to me. " Ra Hul said as several walls of vines sprouted out of the ground ensnaring Ryan in a cage. The vines dig into Ryan's soul like worms digging into mad...
Ryan gritted his teeth and bite his tongue to persevere through the pain and relaxed before concentrating on controlling the vines using his soul energy. " NOW! " he shouted out loud and poured his soul energy into the vines thereby controlling them as if his own.
The vines changed the flow of energy, instead of soul energy leaving him, it was leaving the man going into his soul
"Ha! Ha! Ha! I see. Even an ant like you can also put up a fight using my own power to stop me, this is totally hilarious. "
"This is now going to be painful boy, don't blame me for not going easy on you, you wanted it yourself after all. " Ra Hul said coldly putting the earlier smile aside.
Countless corrupted vines sprouted from the ground with vigor as they drill into Ryan's soul like knife through butter.
"This is what I was waiting for." Ryan annoyed the old man earlier so that he could go all out, then Ryan can take him out completely, in an easy way. " Your arrogance was your downfall. " Ryan told him calmly. He was just pretending to be weak from the start.
"How can Ra Hul absorb him when he had a stronger will of soul than him, Ra Hul sure was naive.
Soul energy with a white glow encompassed all the vines around Ryan rendering the old man helpless.
" I was wrong, we truly can't compare with the beings that managed to cross over. We shall meet one day boy, don't think that this is over, this is just the beginning...of...ou.." the old man was completely absorbed by Ryan before he finished what he was talking about, he left behind a glowing green stone the size of a fist.

Ryan heard the same sound of the system which he had not found time to look into .
"What the heck! what does 'divine ability destroyed ' mean. " Ryan asked himself in puzzlement...
"Phew ! That was so close. " he heaved a sigh of relief.
The space around him changed before he found himself still on the floor of the heavenly space. He was socked completely in his own sweat.
"A stray guy managed to possess you when you were crossing over." The white robed man voice woke him up and he stared at him indignantly.
"Don't be dispirited, actually, you are not the first person to be possessed, this usually happens to those who successfully leave the ocean of souls. "
"Those chosen to cross over are the creme de la creme of the most talented warriors, thank the heavens that you are among this group. " the white robed man told Ryan seriously.
"Why do that, can't you allow all of them just to cross over freely? " Ryan King asked him concerned about the well-being of those souls that he had left in the ocean of souls.
" A dead person is a dead person, that is the way this plane was meant to exist, it is a law that can not be changed. Only the strong and promising are the ones who are given another chance. Those who remain - that is the weak and the duffers are then corrupted until they dissipate completely with their measly existance." The man answered Ryan with his arms still folded on his back but it seemed Ryan's attention was diverted to something else than the words that the white robed man was uttering.
Ryan looked around the place where he was with a look of reverence and awe.
