7 Burning

"My Lord I shan't. This is rather unholy." I said as I turned around again shielding my flustered self for I had just seen Lord Alexander in all of his glory.

"Adelia, we are about to be married. Who is to say that it is unholy?"

"Alexander it is not a guarantee that you we will get married. Who is to say that you are not like this with other maidens. Please my Lord. Return thy garments." I said picking them up for him as I handed them to him still not looking.

"It is only thy abdomen my lady. At least touch it."

"No! I will not put myself into such a scandalous situation. Imagine how scandalous this may seem to passers by my lord."

"If the passers by cannot be just that, passers by, then the problem is of theirs, and not ours. Please my lady, I beg of thee. I need thy touch. I crave thy embrace."

"But my lord."

"Please my lady." he begged cutting me off, and I slowly turned raised my hand as I touched the tips of my fingers against his chiseled abdomen, and I felt a shiver ran down my spine as my breathing became shallow, and I could not stop my head from turning in his direction.

"How is it that human flesh can be so-?"

"Rock hard?" he asked cutting me off, and I nodded.

"It is quite mesmerizing how each one of these are like little boxes. How is that so?" I asked curiously as I touched all of them which I counted to be eight.

"Well it is this wonderful thing called Human Anatomy. I am quite an active lad, hence why my entire body is this chiseled."

"And what about here?" I asked tracing my hands from his sides that dipped all the way down to his trousers until it disappeared.

"That my lady is what they call a V-line. It is quite literally it's name for it is a V-line."

"A V-line? What is it used for?" I asked quite confused.

"Well it doesn't have a use per say. It is just there if you have it, and its not there if you don't, and I just happen too have it. Would you like to see more my lady?" he asked placing my hand on his trousers, and my eyes slightly widened, and I pulled my hand away, for I knew what lied down below.

"My lord I think that we should go. We have already done enough, and I already know where that trail goes." I said pointing tp the hairs that decorated his lower abdomen, and he chuckled.

"Okay, my lady. We shall take our leave, and until our wedding night I will teach about all the parts that there is of a man, and in return I will learn about you."

"My lord you shan't get hasty with these arrangements, for I am merely allowing you to court me for the sake of getting my parents." I said, and he looked heartbroken for a second as he asked.

"It is that you believe not that we can fall in love?"

"You are finally starting to understand my lord." I said, and he nodded.

"Very well then. Tis getting quite late. I think that it is time for you to take you leave my lady." he said walking ahead of me towards my carriage, and I walked behind him feeling quite sad all of a sudden when I saw that he was not coming with me.

"Are we not riding back together my lord?"

"This is where I bid you farewell my lady. I shall see you whenever I see you." he said bowing before signaling for the coachman to take me home, and we were off.

"Eeeeeh how was it!?" asked a squealing Ophelia when I returned home, and she pulled me into her room before I could even breath in the atmosphere of the mansion.

"It was exactly what it should be like dear sister of mine."

"Was it like the fairy tales? Did he kiss your hand and give you a flower? Did he tell you of how beautiful you are? Did he feed you delicious treats? Did you guys have a pickney by the lake?"

"Dear sister I am starting to think that you were there with us for you have every detail down to the T. Tell me, did he ask you for advice or is this just another universal thing, that I am unaware of?" I asked, and she smiled.

"Yes Deli, he did ask me what would be a perfect courting date and I helped him out. Afterall I do know you quite well."

"Well, Pheli, you obviously know me not that well for it was far from I would consider to be a perfect date." I said as I sat on the edge of my bed as I recalled today's events, "although, it was quite a nice gesture, and I appreciate you for it. I hope that when it is your time to be courted I will be able to help you as much as you are helping me."

"Well do not think that you are getting off the hook that easy dear sister. Come, do tell. What took place today between you and lord Alexander. He is quite handsome, and dreamy. I must say that I envy you sister. Your babies will be the fairest of them all."

"Hold your horses there, Ophelia. Who said anything about having children? We are merely courting as not upset mamma, and papa. Nothing else." I said firmly, and she looked at me sadly.

"Please do not tell me that you said those words to Lord Alexander? Is that why you returned home by yourself? Has he given up on courting you already? Oh my dear Adelia." she said disappointingly, "although, I know not of why you grew to hate lord Alexander this much, I can only hope that you will forgive him soon, for he truly does love you. I will see you at supper, Adelia."

She left closing my door softly, and I sighed as I laid on my back as memories of today flashed across my mind and what she said as well.

Unholy images of his abdomen also began to flash across my mind, and I rose to my feet as I began to tear my garments off, for it was getting quite hot.

"My lady are you quite alright?" asked Marcelina as I stormed out of my room, and into the baths.

"I'm burning!"

"You're burning!? Where my lady? Show it to me?" she said as inspected my body in worry.

"No not a literal burn. I'm-I'm yearning for him. I need him. It is like a flame between my legs. A fire only he can quench." I said as I ripped the remainder of my garments apart, and hopped into the cold baths feeling a new sense of relief.

"My lady you do know what this means right?" asked Marcelina, and I sighed, for I did know.

"Yes Marcelina, I do. I really do."
