PART TWO

Faiza and Zeitun went to their respective homes, they were yet to understand their Monitor's motives and the exact reason as to why he helped them, something they never thought he will do.

The next monday, faiza and Zeitun came to school together as usual, their attire was outstanding. Girls are funny, they draw Conclusions very soon, they thought that Farhan has admired them and may be even loved them.

That evening as per the norms of Bulla Mpya primary school were by then, was a debating day. The debate that day was Class 7C against class 8A.

Faiza and Zeitun were both academically average, Farhan was equally good and you have not to mention Zubeir, he was simply extraordinary.

The debate started, class 7C were the opposers, the topic of discussion was, "Rural areas are better than urban areas." What this debate did was that it brought the four main characters closer to each other, they supported each other in arguments, you hear Farhan saying, "What my dear sister Faiza is saying is true, and i support that point," Or you hear Zeitun saying, "Zuber is absolutely right..." and so on.

The debate ended and you know what? Class seven C have beaten their seniors, class 8A, enjoyments was at the very air. Feelings increased only to the girls, Faiza liked Zuber and her likings towards him was almost leading to love and on the other hand, Zeitun though slightely, liked Farhan; the rude class monitor.

Those happy moods were cut short the next day when Farhan wrote noise makers, and as usual, the first two positions were occupied by the two Ms Manderians, Mr Siyad as usual gave the crooks their punishments. Those girls' morals were broken by this monitor, he saved them from strangers, he supported them in debate and he smilled to them and they thought the rivalry was all but over, but they were wrong, Farhan never entertained those ideas.

The girls came back to their class after they were punished, and begun abusing him, and calling him all the bad words they knew. Farhan cared less.

This latest move from Farhan angered many of his friends , one of them was Zubeir who was completely angered by Farhan's actions, he couldnt take it anymore. He came and stood infront of the class and started talking,"Asalamu Aleikum my classmates," Zubeir said in a soft voice.

"Wa Aleikum Salam," the whole class answered at once. Then Zubeir begun his talk, "I am not one who talks much, i never wanted to stand infront of you, but today i decided to do it to address an issue that is coming up. My brothers as you know, we are brothers and sisters, and there is no need of us having grudges for eachother, i have been seeing our class monitor closely monitoring the movements of some few individuals, that is our two sisters Faiza and Zeitun, Faiza today appeared in the noise makers list for just borrowing a pen. Her friend Zeitun was also written for asking a friend a question, and that is wrong." Zubeir paused for a momment, he could see the two Ms Manderians weeping, he knew that beside their arrogance they were human beings who needed mercy, he knew that behind their proudness they had hearts that can get hurt. He then continued, "Our class monitor we respect you, but please try to think before you do anything else, these two girls with all their arrogance and proudness are our sisters and we won't allow you to harass them as you wish."

That was when Farhan's boiling point was reached. "Who are you when you are interfearing with my work, i am the class monitor here and i will do whatever i want." Farhan said in a loud voice.

"I accept you are the class monitor but you are not the class owner, and you can't do anything you wish." The whole class at once applauded Zuber, Faiza and Zeitun were not left behind. Farhan himself felt shy. He knew he has done something wrong, but he was not one who conceded defeat so easily, "I am not sorry about what I have done, and if given chance I will do it again. " There is no denying it, the lad was a no nonsense one.

The class Islamic society representative sheikh Yunis, started preaching. He told Farhan that what he was doing was actually wrong and he needed to respect the class.

Then Sheikh Yunis said, "My bro Farhan, we love you as much as we love our sisters and we can't watch our class being disunited like this, So with all due your respect, appologise to our sisters, because you hurted them."

There was a minute of silence, all the eyes were directed to Farhan, everyone was anxious to see what he will do, then Farhan stood up like a gentleman and begun speaking, "I dont want to talk too much, i feel ashamed, i want to appologise to the whole class, and Zeitun and Faiza in particular, i know i hurted them so much, i made them cry several times, please forgive me." and then he sat down. The whole class clapped for him.

Zeitun and Faiza were also told to apologize to the boy they hurted, and read out his letter in Class, his name was Ismail.

One thing is official, that girls however proud and arrogant they are, they have got a soft heart, both Zeitun and Faiza stood up and accepted Farhan's appology and apologized to Ismail. CLASS SEVEN C OF BULLA MPYA PRIMARY SCHOOL WAS UNITED.

Meanwhile When Zubeir was speaking there was somebody who was more intrested in his body structure than his words. She was Faiza. She was staring at Zubeir, his well built body like Salman khan's, his nice and smooth hair like Sharukh khan's, and his handsome and nice appearing face like Aamir Khan's. His white shirt ironed, his trauser tubed, his bata shoes washed, and finally his sweet voice, and it was, OFFICIAL, that Faiza Noor, the second most beautiful girl in bulla mpya primary school in the year 2007 , and the bride of Bulla Jamhuriya has fallen deeply and Irrovacably in Love with Zubeir Hassan , the most handsome boy in bulla mpya primary school by then.

Faiza could not hide her delightness that day and one could only hear her, singing loud a somali song which was like,

"Naf jacel haaya ma hargasho....

Hurda way nacdaa mahigsatee......

Will Faiza be able to tell her love to Zubeir?

Will Zubeir accept it Fails's proposal if after all she does?

Or will the former rude, now polite class monitor, Farhan have a say?
