The Finish Line
"-You think I can trust 'you', a 'male' " Garnet points out to an innocent looking guy
"You do realize I'm a girl, in a dangerous city. Full of perverts" Garnet points out sentence by sentence
"Um, yes." Akaart says trying to ease the tension between them
"How about I buy us lunch and we get to know ow each other, I'll maintain my distance, I promise" Akaart says, trying to convince her to let him stay
Garnet looks the man infront of her up and down.
'I don't trust him... but I am hungry'
"Alright. But I have a pepper spray and I'm not afraid to fight you" Garnet said confidently
"Let's go, you first" Garnet says standing behind Akaart
