Zombie meets Humans?

ROHAN QUICKLY COME TO YOUR SENSE, ROHAN!

I think I'm hearing Fames in my head just now. In a state of being neither awake nor asleep, Rohan's consciousness gradually came back.

"What's this!? What kind of situation are we in right now?"

As Rohan stand

there, in the middle of the lab, gazing at all of the explosions far in the

distance, the door that was the only way out, the thick metal block that always shut and locked was nowhere to be found, electric flashes splattered here and there.

Not knowing what had occurred in here while he was unconscious playing in Heavens Empire, now the lab is in tatters he can't help but think even if it's no longer possible to return to my

normal life, I can't help but feel a bit excited about this whole thing.

"ROHAN THE NEURAL LINK SYSTEM OF THE VR POD WAS DAMAGE, FORTUNATELY I DISCONNECTED YOU OUT OF PURGATORY QUICKLY OR THE EFFECT ON YOUR BRAIN WILL BE IRREVERSIBLE"

"What happened? Is the VR POD too old and malfunction? Or did you accidentaly push the lab self destruct button like the idiot in the cartoons I watched recently?"

"NO, THE LAB HAS NO SUCH THING, AND THE VR POD DID NOT MALFUNCTION DUE TO IT'S AGE, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED LET ME SHOW YOU"

The wall where Fames image projected showed all the places inside the lab then explosions started reverberating the facilities and the walls including the thick door blasted away hitting the apparatuses, causing to mess the wirings and more explosions. The place was still shaking like there was an earthquake due to the huge explosions but suddenly a person came out of the rubble, wearing a bloody armor, then the video surveillance of the lab blackout, only the main drone cam Fames used was still functional and followed the person that run out of the lab.

Outside the lab was like a sea of crystallized milk, a vast field of snow and Rocky mountains.

The person wearing full plate armor turned around and started to fall back. He repeatedly fired lazer like bullets at a black skeleton in an attempt to lure it closer.

The skeleton raised it's hands and started pushing to release an energy shield in front of it's body. The bullets were blocked by the shield, and as they collided with the shield, there were beams of white light.

Black skeleton's shield looks like it possessed the innate ability to counter the powers of the lazer like bullets. However, the heat from the bullets emitted gases depleting the energy of the shield. Furthermore, the impact from the collisions onto the energy shield also impacted Black Skeleton's body and decreased it's concentration. However, the impact was relatively low.

A long green haired guy also joined the fray and attacked the skeleton, the black skeleton emitting black aura that you may sense the fury building up in it's body. The killing intent in it's body was overflowing like water from a fountain.

After Armored guy fired the thirteenth shot, the green haired guy moved closer toward the skeleton. The shots fired along the way managed to crackdown the energy shield.

If the skeleton guy did not possess the special defensive powers, it would have been very brittle to the attacks.

"Woah... are humans usually this strong in reality?"

Once Rohan seen how they were fighting, he realized how weak his physical body is.

"NO, NOT ACCORDING TO MY DATABASE"

Even Fames wasn't sure what they were seeing

Suddenly Armored guy drew out his retractable machete. He held the blade in his right hand and wielded the mechanical fire arm in his left hand. He was unafraid of fighting head-on. Green haired guy focused on chanting words a huge rock like mountain appeared using all his strength to smash Skeleton guy's head; however, he realized that skeleton guy was scheming something, moving it's fingers discreetly.

At that instant, A skeleton hands sprouts from the ground that grab Armored guy's ankle and another skeleton soldier appeared in his back as the retractable machete fall on the gound, a black spear lunge from his back extended to up to his neck, he blankly stood there motionless as the skeleton guy used that moment to evade the huge rock and cast shield protecting his face and skull.

Skeleton guy moved his head back slightly, and with the help of the Shield, he managed to withstand the shock from Green haired guy's strike. Green haired guy used his staff with a purple gem and summoned a dragon like creature as big as a car to continuously penetrate the energy shield of skeleton guy. The battle was fierce, and white sparks were emitted with each contact made.

In the lab watching this fight, Rohan muttered

"Maybe I

really am completely out of my mind. I would have expected to feel at least a

little bit scared about all of this."

But instead of that, I get this constant

tingling sensation that won't go away. The feeling that I am closer to my

dream than ever before in my life. All of the terrible dangers that await me

seem distant to me, and all I can really think about now is that at the end of

this mess, when I get out of this situation, I can finally explore the real world, meet real human and go into real combat.

There's an explosion maybe a few hundred feet from my location. The

fights still continued, and one of the problem is that they were much closer to me than I

would have hoped.

There's no way I can get involved in a fight with any of those people

at this point.

I need to avoid them sensing I'm here, for as long as possible, if I want to survive

until the end.

I carefully head outside in the direction from where I've heard the explosion.

As I

am heading towards the cliff, I start hearing heavy breathing. The three

people killing each other earlier were lying in a clearing a few feet away from me. I hide behind a rock and

take a quick glance towards the clearing.

It seems they have just finished fighting. One of them was in tatters, the

appearance of the green haired guy can be seen clearly and was full of blood and bruises, he has long pointy ears with three earrings each, fit body wearing a simple stained white shirt.

after 30 Minutes that their bodies didn't move, Rohan decided to check if there's still someone alive.

"Elf? Pointy long ears, and very tall is this guy an elf or vampire? hmmm... no fangs, definitely an elf."

"ELF? IT SHOULDN'T BE, ELF IS A FICTIONAL CHARACTER AND NO EXISTING ELF IN REALITY ACCORDING TO MY DATABASE. MAYBE HE HAS A BIRTH CONDITION, OR EVEN A GENE MANIPULATION MAY CAUSE THIS, AFFECTING HIS APPEARANCE AND HIGHT"

Fames voice coming from the drone and replied to him.

"That, I'm not sure if I would believe what was saved in your database, according to you what they just did earlier was impossible and also not saved in your database, maybe you're outdated about all of what the world now since were both locked up here for 100 years or more, look at their appearance are they suppose to be~"

As Rohan points and look around, he was dumbfounded stood there with a slack jaw with sudden realization that there was more dead bodies scattered around the place covered in snow and dirt.

There was about 20 skeleton, 17 animal like monsters... and... even 9 robots?

"Fames! Are you playing me again?"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"

"I'm still inside the purgatory am I?"

Rohan started doubting that he was outside the lab as the animals like monsters, the skeletons soldiers, and the robots really look like it came out from a game.

how the way they fight, the powerful explosions like special effects and even the summoning were really like in the games he played.

"NO. YOU ARE DEFINITELY OUT SIDE, AND EVEN ME DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IS HAPPENING, CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME BRING THE BODIES INSIDE THE LAB, I'LL EXAMINE THEM"

"All of it?"

Pointed at the scattered bodies and body parts.

"YES"

"Hard labor with no payment? Fine! I'm also interested to know what they are and how they are strong"

As Rohan move closer to the bodies touched it he smelled the blood and meat in his hands, then a strong emotion that he had never felt before arose inside of him. His eyes turned bloodshot his intestines grumbling none stop.

Hunger for flesh that he never felt for hundred years was now urging him to bite and eat.

"Urgh... Fames I can't helped it... I ... think I need to eat..."

Rohan informed Fames while salivating.

"WHAT? WAIT DON'T EAT THAT! GO FOR THE ANIMALS"

Rohan throw the green haired guy and go for the next nearest body and bite without looking if it was an animal or human as he can't take the unpleasant hunger he feels.

'CRUNCH'

'CRUNCH!'

the only sounds that echoed was cold wind blowing in the icy planes and a crunching sounds as Rohan was munching on the bones of the black skeleton guy like a dog.

Only when Rohan finished eating the entire left arm of skeleton guy did he realized that he wasn't eating meat like a normal zombie would but munching bones like a dog!

"Dah? These bones actually relieve my hunger? I thought I would die out of hunger"

As he speaks a black aura like smoke came out of his mouth and enveloped his body

"huh? Fames what's this? is it poisonous or am I evolving or something?"

"I... I'M NOT SURE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING"

Rohan then didn't bother asking Fames anything anymore, as all she's been answering him was 'I DON'T KNOW, I'M NOT SURE, IT'S NOT IN MY DATABASE'

Rohan just checked if there's something unusual in his body, as he can't find anything Rohan decided not to think much about it and solve it later if there's problem.

He then just focused on the job of bringing all the bodies and equipment or objects he found to the lab, as the hunger he felt earlier was gone and it make his job easier.

"I wonder if that hunger would comeback if I meet living humans, would I be able to control the urge to eat?"

"I'M N~"

"Don't bother answering Fames, I'm not asking you... it's just a self thought"

Rohan going in and out of the lab piled up the bodies according to their kind.

"What's the next quest miss NPC?"

Rohan complained jokingly to Fames, but the AI didn't retort as always.

"LAY DOWN THE ELF IN THE VR POD"

"Why?"

Rohan didn't understand what Fames trying to do

"I'LL EXAMINE HIS BODY, THE VR POD HAS MEDICAL FUNCTION, I CAN USE NANO TECHNOLOGY FOR FULL BODY EXAMINATION AND ALSO MAGNETIC~"

"What?!"

Rohan didn't wait for Fames to finish introducing the medical functions of the POD as he was shocked that he was been using this for more or less 15 years and didn't know that.

"Fames tell me the truth! what have you been doing in my body in this past 15 years? your hiding something from me are you?"

"I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING HOW YOUR BODY WORKS FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS, I'M NOT HIDING IT, AS YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT I WAS COLLECTING DATA ABOUT YOUR EXISTENCE, BEFORE YOU EVEN USED THE POD YOU HAVE GIVEN ME PERMISSION, HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN?"

"I did? did I forgot?"

Think about it he really kinda did given his permission and didn't ask for any details.

"ALL THE DATA ABOUT YOU IS SAVED AND YOU CAN LOOK AT IT ANYTIME BUT OTHER THAN THAT WAS CLASSIFIED"

"Oho? Fames? there is a classified secrets I can't access? Show me what's inside the classified data so I would know what not to look at next time"

"THAT IS CLASSIFIED AND CAN'T BE ACCESS VIA GUEST ACCESS"

"Can't I just hacked your system to access it?"

"YOU CAN TRY"

"hah! I'll surely do it next time! for now show me the money!

I mean my files, show me what you found out"
