The Giant Egg and the Death Bringer

"My Lord! behind you!."

As Bellum shouted, his body collapsed and he struggled standing back up.

Rohan looked behind him, he noticed that from his shadow a black mass formed a like human standing

"What... is that..?"

Rohan stepped back and observed what was the human shaped black mass

"BELLUM DON'T OVERWORKED YOUR BODY, IT HASN'T YET ADJUSTED TO IT'S NEW STRUCTURE AS IT JUST UNDERGO A SURGERY, YOU STILL NEED AT LEAST A MONTH OR TWO TO HEAL IN FULL HEALTH."

Fames warned the naked red haired that was trying it's hard to stand up.

"So that's why, My Lord wait for a moment and try to back away from whatever that is, it's been releasing an ominous aura."

"Alright"

Rohan replied, and Fames tried scanning the black mass

Bellum then spread his two arms, said "VENI ARMIS EQUINOX CODE 0S3X069" The belongings of the armored guy floated and equipped to the red haired guy, from the armor, head gears, gauntlets, boots and accessories, everything adjusted to his body size and fitted him like it was maid for him.

"WoW! IronMan?"

Rohan's eyes sparkled when he saw that happens, he never expected to see something like this in reality.

Bellum grabbed a stainless steel flask from his hips and drank from it.

"What are you drin~"

Rohan haven't finished talking, but Bellum's body released a metallic liquid like substance and enveloped his whole body, after 5 seconds it from an oval shape like an egg.

"Fames look! he turned into a metallic egg? what was it that he drink to become like this?" Rohan was baffled of what is happening.

"I DON'T KNOW, BUT I LOST CONNECTION TO THE NANOBOTS I LEFT INSIDE HIS BODY TO MONITOR HIS HEALTH. THE SHELL OF THE METALLIC EGG YOUR TALKING ABOUT IS FORMED FROM A BILLIONS OR MORE OF NANOBOTS, THIS NANOBOTS AND THE ONES I PUT IN HIM ARE THE SAME TYPE, I DON'T KNOW WHERE IT CAME FROM BUT I ONLY USED ABOUT A THOUSAND NANO BOTH INSIDE HIM, MY SCANNERS CAN'T PENETRATE THE SHELL, I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING INSIDE"

Fames can't understand how is this happening, she tried different method to see what was Bellum's condition inside but to no avail.

"This is what nanobot look like? it's like a liquid mercury. can I touch it?"

Rohan stretch his hands to touch the giant egg, but as his hand was about to reach it the black mass moved and formed a black skeleton

"ShiiiT!!"

Rohan got scared to death and jumped backwards as he remembered how strong the black skeleton guy that fight with the armored guy and green haired guy.

But the skeleton in front of Rohan didn't attacked him, instead it kneels like a knight in front of him

"What the... shiit! what is happening today? a lot of weird things in one day, it's overwhelming!"

[MASTER WHAT IS IT THAT YOU DESIRE?]

"Eeehhh?"

Rohan was creep out by the whisper like voice that sounds like it came from hell. he look at his back only to see a motionless giant metallic egg

"Was it you?"

Rohan pointed at the egg

"YOU NOTICED SOMETHING?"

Fames asked, she was bewildered by Rohan's reaction when he saw the skeleton

[MASTER]

The voice called in his ears again Rohan looked left and right

"You didn't heard that?"

"HEARD WHAT?"

"the voice!"

Freaked out Rohan replied

"NO, WHAT VOICE? MAYBE IT'S JUST YOUR IMAGINATIONS"

[MASTER IT IS I]

The skeleton smack it's bone chest as it bows

"It's you! why are you calling me MASTER?"

Rohan pointed at the skeleton

"CALLING YOU MASTER? YOU'RE TALKING TO THE SKELETON? BUT THERE IS NO SOUND?"

Fames was still scanning the egg and the skeleton and noticed that the skeleton was releasing the same type of radiation as Rohan. The radiation that came from the skeleton was interacting with Rohan's own radiation.

[BECAUSE I CAME FROM YOU, YOU ARE THE MASTER AND I AM YOUR SERVANT] The skeleton tried it's best to explain how Rohan was the master

"huh? now that you said it, you really did came out from my shadow. but how?"

Fames listened while Rohan was talking to the skeleton

"WHAT DID IT TOLD YOU?"

[I DON'T KNOW HOW I CAME TO BE, I JUST KNOW THAT I HAVE TO FOLLOW WHAT IT IS THAT YOU DESIRE] The skeleton said still bowing it's head

"It said that because he came from me, for that reason I'm the master and he follows what I desire, do you know what is happening Fames?"

"I DON'T HAVE A CERTAIN ANSWER, BUT IT MAY HAVE SOME RELATION OR RELATED TO THE TIME YOU ATE THE BLACK SKELETON" Fames give some of her conclusion

"So... eating that skeleton had some effects to me?"

"I'M NOT CERTAIN YET, I'LL EXAMINE THE BLACK SKELETON'S REMMAINS LATER AND GIVE YOU THE RESULT"

"Okay thanks, anyway what should I call you?" Rohan asked the skeleton

[I SHALL BE CALLED AS WHATEVER MASTER'S DESIRE, IT WILL BE AN HONOR TO RECEIVE A NAME FROM MASTER]

your voice still scared me, fuck it sounded like it would bring me to hell! Rohan thought "Then your name will be 'Mortifer' it came from the game I played, it means death bringer"

[MASTER! I WILL NEVER TARNISHED THE NAME MORTIFER AND BRING DEATH UPON THOSE WHO DEFIED MASTER'S DESIRES] The emotional skeleton lift his right arm and announced his oaths.

From that oath, chains formed from Rohan's shadow and shackles the skeleton's arms, legs and neck then disappeared like black smoke.

"What was that all about?"

Rohan asked as Fames also has the same question

['OATH SHACKLES' IT BINDS THE PROMISE AND THE OATH TAKER, IF THE INDIVIDUAL THAT HAS TAKEN THE OATH SHACKLES BREAK THE PROMISE THE BODY OF THE INDIVIDUAL WOULD ALSO BREAK, IT'S ONE OF MY ABILITIES]

Rohan explained to Fames what the skeleton said

"isn't it like in the game? abilities he said was like a skill in the game. What do you think Fames?"

"SIMILAR I GUESS"

Rohan then interrogated the skeleton about this abilities and other things as the egg was still motionless and they can't find a way to know what is happening to Bellum.

The skeleton tried to look for the best word to use in explaining for easier way to understand what abilities are.

But it was still lacking in vocabulary words to use so, as the skeleton explained Rohan would translate it for Fames, after hearing what skeleton said Fames would tell Rohan some comparison to easily understand.

The abilities are like genes, each individual has it's own unique abilities and some abilities of the offspring are inherited from both it's parents, but the only abilities it could inherit was an ability that both parents has or an ability that has some similarities and would be mixed into one and would be granted to it's offspring, for example if the father has a 'Shadow Manipulation' ability and the mother has 'Shadow Field' there's a high chance that the child can obtain 'Shadow Space' or 'Shadow Domain'.

The abilities mentioned was a skill from Heavenly Empire that Rohan played.

'Shadow Manipulation' - is a skill to manipulate the Shadow to form your own image and used as a distraction to enemy.

'Shadow Field' - is a skill used to spread a Shadow and darkened the place blinding the enemies inside a 10 meters radius from the caster.

'Shadow Space' - is a skill synthesized from both Shadow Manipulation and Shadow Field, it was mainly used to bind the enemies by shadows inside the 10 meter radius from caster.

'Shadow Domain' - is a skill synthesized from both Shadow Manipulation and Shadow Field, it spreads a 10 meter radius shadow everyone inside will be weakened by 50% and the caster would be strengthened by additional 100%

Mortifer didn't know much about the skill Rohan and Fames talking about, but after listening to Fames explanation it was kinda sound like the same of what he want to tell.

[MASTER I DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT ABILITIES AS IT WAS ONLY AN INHERITED KNOWLEDGE]

Hearing that Rohan can't help but ask

"inherited from who?"

The skeleton answered tilting it's head with a questioning look

"Huh? What do you mean from me? I don't even know what it is if you hadn't mentioned it"

Before Mortifer can answer the egg moved and reduced in size

"SOMETHING IS HAPPENING"

Fames informed Rohan

"It's forming a human! is it Bellum? what is happening Fames?"

"I STILL CAN'T CONNECT TO THE NANOBOTS"

"My Lord! stand back!" Bellum who was now standing holding a big sword and wearing red armor warned him.

[MASTER THIS INDIVIDUAL SHALL BE GRANTED DEATH BY THIS FAITHFUL SERVANT, FOR THE SIN OF BEING DISRESPECTFUL TO YOU!] And dark smoke appeared in Mortifer's hands

Rohan looked at the two and thought that; are this two the same skeleton guy and armored guy from back then and gonna fight again? "WAIT! Don't fight both of you!" Rohan stopped them and explained to both of them the situation

"So, this undead is My Lord's Servant? okay, I'll keep an eye on his actions, if I see him with any other motives I'll claim his life and make his skeletons an automaton"

[WHAT DID THIS MOVING DOLL JUST SAID? MASTER TELL THAT TOY IF HE CAN'T TAKE MY OATH SHACKLES HE IS NOT FITTED TO BECOME A TRUSTWORTHY SERVANT FOR MY MASTER AND I'LL TAKE HIS LIFE MAKE HIM AN UNDEAD UNDER ME!] Mortifer was infuriated by Bellum's words

Rohan was speechless by the two bickering at each other

"Bellum don't worry about Mortifer he can't harm me, he has taken an oath shackles so I trust him. he also asked me if you can take an oath like him?"

"Oath Shackles? My Lord you have that ability? amazing as expected of My Lord! Sure My Lord I'll make an oath"

"I BELLUM SHALL DECLARE WAR AGAINST THOSE WHO HAS ANY TYPE OF ILL-INTENT TO MY LORD ROHAN AND BRING DESTRUCTION UPON THEM!" Bellum made his oath

Mortified touch Rohan's shadow and the chains appeared once again and shackled Bellum.

"Actually it was Mortifer that owns the Oath Shackles ability" Rohan said to Bellum so it would not cause any misunderstanding.

"YOUR EXPLANATION WAS TOO LATE ROHAN" Fames said while observing the 3 with interest.

The number of people present in the Lab increased and made Fames pleased as the work would be faster and efficient, so with that she asked Rohan's help alongside with his servants to fix the damage in the lab and for research.

The four worked at the LAB, Rohan and Bellum was assigned to fix the damage parts of the lab while Fames and Mortifer doing the research for the corps.

While Rohan and Bellum was fixing the lab and Mortifer helps Fames with research, Bellum thought Rohan about abilities and some other important things, and Fames thought Mortifer how to use sign language to communicate properly even without Rohan's help.

Bellum knows more about abilities than Mortifer because he had the memories of Mergon Kerghood, Mergon was not human but a race looked and act like dwarf depicted in most games and movies so Rohan decided to call their race dwarf but according to Bellum memories they were called troglodyte, they were known for being Innovative Master Builders as they always produce new type of weapons, battle suits, gadgets, flying ships and even an impenetrable fortress that can't be seen by outsiders. they were a race not to be trifled with.

About the green haired guy's race, why they fought with the skeleton and how they arrived here was also explained by Bellum as Rohan asked. he said that 'quis silvam' was a race that look like an elf so Rohan and Bellum both agree to call them elfs, that race has a close relationship with nature, that they can call upon nature spirits and borrow it's energy to fight, it was known to all races that the titan race a hundreds of giants once tried to invade their territory, but none of them came out after entering it was unknown if they all died. after that no other race tried their luck to invade them. as for why they teamed up to fight the skeleton, Bellum said that Mergon ask Fray Seraph the green haired elf to help him capture the skeleton king in exchange for a spirit shell that Mergon made and a dungeon core that the skeleton king owns. Mergon needs the skeleton king's corps to create a Living Golem, he will use it's skeleton as a base for the body of the golem and ask Fray for a dark spirit to live inside the golem. they arrived here as they followed the skeleton king trying to escape in a teleportation portal and here they are.

Rohan was expectant and ask what about the humans? Bellum answer made Rohan's shoulders to drop as he heard that Mergon never seen one in his life, but he does heard some other races catch or killed one, though it sounded like a hoax because he only knew it by hearsay.

"I'll set an adventure soon and look for them" Rohan announced to his companions.

The two servants was very supportive of what he wish to accomplish, but Fames was reluctant as she will be left alone.

"Lady Fames, you don't need to worry about being left alone here, for I have a solution!" Bellum proudly announced to Fames

"HOW?"
