Narration

Hey guys this isn't a chapter but something I want to say about how the story is narrated.

If you have read one of my other novels then you would know Odin has many other clones of himself each having his own personality and such and the narrator of this one isn't exodus the one that's used in two of my novels but Odin.

This means that you are reading this the way Odin sees things for him trillions of thoughts start and end in a mere second.

This makes things confusing but also gives you how Odin sees things. while odin can feel empathy he has also lived for too long that to him emotions are foreign concepts that he might remember and forget the next second.

This is why if you see parts where a person is expressing a deep emotion it might seem bland and colorless. To him happiness can be thinking of his wife or children or killing masses of beings. So while he could see someone cry over their dead family to Odin who has seen it all it means nothing he only cares for his own self and not others.

There are other times when you might see that a character does something and somehow Odin is already aware of it even though he shouldn't be or he says something and immediately the next seconds dose the opposite.

This again ties with Odin's long life once you have seen everything not once but trillions of times over it's easy to tell the next step or next few thousand steps. The reason he does the opposite is also because of his thoughts.

An example can be his dominant thought can be 'i won't kill this dude.' but the next second he's ripped the guy's head off. You only hear one thought yet he had many that wanted him to kill the dude.

The best way to imagine it is if you were talking in a room filled with other people and each are saying a different thing but you can hear it all at once very clear and the clearest voice is your own.

One thought can be saying 'kill' the other can be thinking about 'what to eat' and another about 'how your clothes look' and your own thought can be 'I shouldn't kill' and they all happen at once.

Odin isn't a young boy even though he is he was just forced to grow up to survive. But you are reading a story after Odin has reached the peak long ago. you are seeing a man stuck in a delusion of wanting to regain what he has lost not his power but his peace yet he can't leave the killing as that's all he has left.

If you have questions leave a comment and ill try my best to answer them. I'll post a chapter either today or tomorrow have a good day/night.
