She has amazing talent with her precise aim; only two shots missed out of one hundred and twenty-three shots tested in mock battles. One of them was against #1-ranked student Ren, as he used a simulated asteroid belt to his advantage by using it as cover. Her shyness also works against her at times, as she can become flustered in a combat situation that becomes more dire. It is not recommended for her to lead a large-scale task force, but keep her away from the main action, and you have an ace shot whenever you need her.

With his tutorship, Tyler's grades have improved—when he actually pays attention. He is also a highly skilled mechanic who can make any repairs needed on the battlefield or in the hanger. He'll keep damaged troops in the fight for as long as possible. He won't be the most recruited student, but he will be a solid addition to any ship's lineup.

"These are just some of the noticeable students at the New York Academy, ma'am." a grizzled older man said, flipping through student dossiers.
"Send them all to my cabin; I'll look over them tonight while we head back home. Thank you, Vice Captain." The captain said.
"Yes ma'am." The vice captain said.
As the captain walked back to her cabin to end the day, a single thought flowed through her head.
"Ren...I finally found you."

AN: Hey guys, how'd you like my chapter zero? Gave a quick briefing of some of the main characters of the story and also introduced the captain, who will be an important part of this story.
Now you're probably wondering, "When will the story be coming out?" Well, good news! Honestly, I've been enjoying writing the opening chapters of this story, so things will be coming out quicker than originally planned, as I said in the update two days ago from me releasing this. Well, expect Chapter 1 to drop on Wednesday of this week, and expect a new chapter every day.
Also here's something special for you guys, you can create your own side character as the audience. I can't promise your character will have a impact on the story but you can make a character that will exist in this world.
Rules are: a good name not a joke name, age your character to be over 18(in the lore you must be 18 to serve in the space military) and a gender/or non binary if you so wish). about 8 times out of 10 I will prob kill your characters off but it might just be something fun to do with you guys
