Er Gen novel. C'mon people, vote harder! This review is totally only to 'balance' out that guy who one star'd on the pretence of balancing. Er Gen is too OP to be balanced. Like, have you not read his greatness? (Okay, I'll admit I've yet to finish an Er Gen novel, they're *too* long, if anything, but heck are they a fun romp of a story) Plus, the setting for this story seems much more unique, being that it is a modern (or, slightly futuristic) setting, and the cultivation elements are newly introduced to the society there, rather than the culture being entirely based around it. Look, it's just good, Okay? Go vote more already instead of wasting your time reading this review that is this long simply so that I can post it.

I love Er Gen and this is quite the funny book. Translation o fit was dropped about 900 chapters in for quite some time. When it was brought back I was very happy, but it is clear that they are basically just copy/pasting machine translations here. Even the names of characters are sometimes translated and sometimes partially translated. There is no continuity of the terms being used either (for example cultivation realms), and a huge number of grammatical mistakes in the most recently translated chapters.

I donˋt give everything a 5 Star, because that would mean it really Hooked me like a madman. A will eternal did, and i very much so like this one. But my first of Er gen just did me better idk why.

Can someone tell me why is this novel tagged "Yaoi"? I've read it until chapter 849, and Wang Baole has been pretty straight until this point.

That Yaoi tag is really hurting this novel. Too many dudes who would dodge the novel cause of it. Would probably be way more popular otherwise.

Is it worth reading? YES! Go read it. On a side note: I really do not see how this is "A World Worth Protecting". So far I see this as a world worth sticking in a toilet-bowl, eating Ex-Lax, and and hour later siting down on top of that toilet-bowl and spraying out a crap storm on top of it. He needs to go find another world and protect that instead.

When i see the story when im searching a bl novel i saw this and i started reading this. I love how the mp of the story hes shameless and funny i like it but im enticing about the bl tag..... when i reach like 24 chapter theres no bl in it like wtf and i started reading the review... im so disappointed because the story doesn’t have bl.. but i give 4 star about the story are great im going to continue reading the story ... ciao

I really had fun and good laughs reading this one. The mc is OP which is i really like and I don't care if it was because of the plot armor. The mc won't be an mc without plot armors 😁. The world background is quite well describe that helps me easily build it in my imagination 😅. The are chapters that i find boring (when the author explains something about this and that✌️) but i know that it was important in building up the story so yeah i endured. This is really a good novel although there are cliches (like, the mc saved the heroin that used to hate and disdain him but after he saved her, she fell in love with the mc). I admit i don't like cliches like this but i still continued reading. But sadly when the cliche thing where the heroin got kidnapped, appeared, as a reader myself that don't even like reading romance/harem novels, felt that this is my bottom line. Yeah i have to dropped it. Im here writing a review to thank the author and translator for their hard work for this novel. Fighting 👊

Like this the most, almost every chapter I’m laughing 😊 Most heroes are stern, handsome and maybe lots of gf This one, fat, scared to death and no official gf yet as so many chapters 😂
