Just before the System could answer his question, a cold fingers touched his face.
Slowly Rei opened his eyes.
"You awake?" Someone with completed guard armors knelt beside him. A black cloth covered his face.
"I'm sorry I cannot safe you there that caused you to be wounded."
That unknown young man stretched his hand and touch Rei's bandaged abdomen carefully.
"You mean this?" Rei laughed lowly while opening his bandage. The man in front of him tried to stop him but he casually untie the coils and lifted his shirt.
The man flabbergasted. In his toned abdomen with proportional muscles, there was no wound could be seen. His skin is smooth with no scar.
"How?" his eyes stared at Rei's.
Rei smirked.
"I hate pains."
"I know."
"Then how can I let some nobodies leave a scar in my precious body? I just do some tricks with faked blood and changed his knife with the dummy one." Rei pulled out a pocket knife and pushed the pointed part. The whole knife then entered the handle.
"I specifically asked the blacksmith to make this one." Rei smirked.
The young man laughed with hand covered his eyes.
"You make me really worried there."
Rei smiled while coiling the bandages back in his abdomen. The man helped him.
"How did you know that there are multiple players from reality entered the system?"
"At first it just my assumption. However, when I met you, I know it is true."
"How could you be so sure that this character is me?"
The man secured the bandage then stared at Rei.
"Why do you think?"
"I hate thinking too hard."
The man shook his head.
"I'll explain later. For now, we should make sure that he is who we think he is."
Rei nodded.
"I've got plan"
They discussed the plan secretively. After a while, the covered man stood.
"By the way, what is your task?"
The young man avoid Rei's gaze.
"Not too difficult. I'll complete it soon. Make sure you finished your task before the due time."
Rei did not answer the young man.
"Use this when the condition is critical."
The young man pulled out a small bag then gave it to him.
"See you soon."
With that, the man opened the bars without locking it, then walked away.
Rei sighed in frustration.
