I do not own "The Beginning After The End", it belongs to its original creator TurtleMe. This is only a fanfiction that I was inspired to write by the original work. Please support the official release. Most of the media - such as the art and illustrations, gifs, video's, etc. used in this fanfiction - are from the web. Thus, most of them aren't mine (because I really, really can't draw) unless mentioned. To fit the story, images are also edited by various apps and websites. So they aren't mine, just edited. I get much of the text, especially the fight scenes and thought, aside from my oc's, from the original novel, which can be found on Library Novel. Please support the official release.

Also if you own a picture or Video that I found online, and you either want your name added, or me to take it down. Please contact me and we can talk it out. P.s. I also ask that you do not copy my work and publish it onto any other website.

If you're gonna use my idea, please ask me (If you ask nicely, I for sure, will agree). If I don't contact you within a week, then just assume I'm giving you the all clear and go for it. Just remember to credit me.

I will be writing out scenes even if my Oc isn't in them. As long as she's mentioned, or influencing the characters in some way. This may seem a bit annoying. But that's just how I write. I like to embed my characters into the story line. Because of this, most of the dialogue/scenes will come from the original work.

{Third P.O.V.}

Morgana yawned, stretching her arms above her head, she turned to her side and frowned. It had been the third day in a row she had woken up without Arthur next to her.

She looked around, trying to find him, but already suspected she wouldn't even find a trace of him. Only for him to come back around 1 O'clock.

She turned to Jasmine, who was already cooking breakfast on an open flame. "Jasmine, do you happen to know where Arthur is?" the silver haired girl asked, as she got up and began wrapping her sleeping bag up.

The older girl jumped at the sound of her voice, "Yeah. He said he was going to go check out the dungeons in the area. He knew you were up late last night, so he wanted to let you sleep in late." Jasmine answered, almost as if she had rehearsed it.

Morgana's eyes turned cold, making Jasmine flinch at the piercing gaze. Arthur had warned Jasmine that Morgana would try to make her crack, but she knew, under no circumstances would she reveal where Arthur had really been going.

Morgana sighed, she had already figured out that Jasmine had been lying to her. She softened her gaze, understanding that she was probably doing it on Arthur's request, and she may not even know where the boy had been going herself. "Sorry about that." She apologized. "I'm frustrated with him. I shouldn't have taken it out on you. I'm sorry."

Jasmine nodded, accepting the girl's apologies.

"I'm gonna go collect some fruit. Would you like me to look for anything particular?" Morgana asked, tying her hair up into a ponytail.

"Some apples would be nice." Jasmine replied, but then frowned. "But the nearest apple tree is quite far away. Nevermind."

Morgana shook her head, smiling. "It's no trouble at all. I could use the walk to clear my head. I'll be back soon."

Seeing that her roots were begging to show again, Morgana grabbed her red cloak, and set out. She used the time to sort out her thoughts. Her main focus being her husband's whereabouts.

Three days.

She had woken up alone for three consecutive days, with Arthur nowhere to be found. Jasmine may or may not know where he's going, but she certainly is trying her best to keep it a secret.

Had he killed someone?

No, Morgana was quick to dismiss that idea. If there was a body to bury, Arthur knew that Morgana would be right there beside him, shovel in hand, and ready to commit the perfect crime.

They had literally destroyed kingdoms together. So there's no way he would bother hiding one measly body from her.

Had he gotten a pet he didn't want her to find out about?

No, they already had a dragon. One that they treated more like a daughter than a pet.

Morgana's eyes widened in fear as a sudden thought crossed her brain.

Her heart began to pound as she thought…

Was he trying to grow a beard?

Morgana shuddered as she remembered his, I wanna look at a more kingly phase. A beard is a huge aspect of it.

She remembered having to scream that if she wanted to have a husband with a beard, she would have married the king of Atheia. God, the temper tantrum she had needed to throw to finally convince him to lose it. It took three long, sexless weeks and having to threaten to shave it herself for him to finally cave.

She loved her husband to bits, but that was hell no.

She sighed in relief as she remembered that he was only 9, and didn't put out yet. Though I can't dismiss the issue entirely. Though most boys don't start hitting puberty till 11. He could be early.' With that, she made a mental note to herself to look out for any signs that may suggest he was indeed trying to grow a beard. If he was, she needed to nip that in the bud well she could.

She sighs, and begins to walk again, knowing that no matter what was going on. It would only be a matter of time before her husband revealed it to her.

Meanwhile Arthur Was…

Not pleased to say the least. As a king he was used to early mornings, and meetings. But after losing touch with his wife for nearly eight years. You can't blame him for wanting to spend every waking moment with her.

But now, because some spoiled idiots couldn't do one job right, he'd have to do it himself.

Looking down at the black binder in his hand, with the words 'Black Mail Material', printed boldly across it. He flipped it open to the page he needed.

Looking down at Sylvie, who had a determined look in her eyes, 'For Mama.'

Arthur nodded, "That's right. For Mama."

Seeing, he pushed past his exhaustion and got ready to deal with the annoying nobles, who would, without a doubt, be too full of themselves.

But an image of Morgana flashing through his head, helped steel his resolve, "For mama indeed." He muttered to himself once again.

*****

"No peeking." Arthur told her, as she tried to move his hands. Morgana pouted, as she let her hand fall to her sides.

She hated that he had hit an early growth spurt and had easily become taller than her in a matter of weeks. Even in 2 inch heels, he stood 3 inches taller than her, and was only going to continue to grow.

They had come back home for her 9th birthday. Arriving on the day. So the second she had stepped foot into the house, she had been whisked away by her mother, sister, Elle, and Alice. With Sylvie hot on their heels.

She had been ordered to take a quick bath, well they got her clothes ready. Seeing she really didn't have an option here, she relented and decided to follow their agenda, which had probably been organized by Arthur.

She had come out to find that Alice had taken Lilia and Elle to go get changed, well her mother helped her get ready.

On her bed, was a light, almost cream colored pink dress. It had a puffy skirt, with ruffles on the bottom. It was a low, puffy sleeved off the shoulder dress. With it were simple, light pink heels with thin ankle straps. There was a tiara that was practically made out of diamonds, to go with it. Matching the tiara were simple, diamond flower earrings. The bracelet was made out of platinum, with a square diamond center, and diamond leaves branching out from it. She had slipped that on, next to her rose gold bracelet, with the words, 'His Beauty' engraved on it.

But what threw her off was the necklace. It was a single, silver chain. With nothing on it. It wasn't made out of diamond, or gold. It was just a plain, simple, silver chain. Making it stand out against all the expensive accessories.

Seeing her confused expression, her mother just smiled and said, "Just trust him on this."

Morgana smiled, "I may question him, but I will always trust him."

Tabitha smiled, "Then we made the right decision." Morgana raised an eyebrow, the older woman let out a yelp as she realized what she had done, covering her mouth in embarrassment, she was saved by a knock on the door. She rushed to answer it, opening the door to see Arthur there, dressed to the nines, she smiled. "She's ready." She told him. Nodding at him, he left the room.

Arthur walked in, nearly forgetting how to breathe as he stared at her. He had picked everything out himself, and knew she would look absolutely gorgeous. But he himself had underestimated how gorgeous she would actually look.

With all the dye washed out of her hair, it had returned back to it's vibrant sun kissed gold. Her bright blue, jewel eyes stood out against the white diamond crown.

Offering her his arm, he smiled, "You ready?" He asked.

"For what exactly?" She asked, playfully raising an eyebrow.

He nearly blurted it out, but had to stop himself from ruining the surprise. "Guess you'll just have to find out.

Turns out the party was being held in the garden. The cake had been a two layer strawberry and vanilla cake. With vanilla frosting, and ripe strawberry between and on the frosting.

Much like Arthur's party, everyone had pitched in, and we're enjoying themselves. Everyone was going around sharing stories, and partying.

Morgana smiled, contently at the scene. Soon it was time for presents.

Alice and Reynolds were first. "We noticed that your red clock was getting kind of worn down, so we made you a new one." they smiled, handing her a bright, rose colored cloak. It had a swirl-like pattern on it, one that Morgana instantly recognized the thread used to create them. "These were created from chanting sparrow fur." She asked, surprised.

Alice nodded, "That's right. It also means it's fireproof. So it should help angst at least fire attacks from someone at the light red stage."

Morgana smiled, "Thank you so much."

The Twins Horns were next. "Prepare to be amazed." Adam began, only to get smacked on the head by Jasmine.

Helen took over, "We remember you mentioning a certain book you were looking for in a letter a while ago."

Morgana gasped, "No way!"

"Yes way!" Adam nodded, as Durden handed her a blue covered book with the words, 'leyes olvidadas' engraved onto its cover in gold.

"I can't believe you actually got me this." Morgana laughed while inspecting the book. It's pages looked pretty worn down, clearly showing the years the book has survived. She had been trying to get her hands on this for a while now, but just hadn't found the time to actively start her search for it. It was a book on the forgotten laws. Ones that many overlook, or just forget about. There was one section she was definitely interested in, the one about bonds. If not just the king, but if anyone tried something like that again, she wanted to be able to protect her husband and daughter. She had just barely lucked out at that time. She had to unlock memory boxes she even forgot she had to remember any laws that may help them. She didn't want to be in a position like that again. But if she could turn the system to their advantage, of course she would use it as a weapon. "How did you get it?" she asked, hoping it wasn't too much trouble.

"It was fairly easy." Angela smiled.

"We did a job for this old collector. But there was an extra monster that was unaccounted for. So for compensation, he let us pick out any of his books to take. He actually didn't mind us taking this one. Saying he's read it enough times to have it memorized, and thus didn't mind parting with it if it meant the knowledge would be passed down to someone just as interested."

Her mother and father were last. "Now, if you'd follow me." He asked, dramatically, only to get smacked on the head by his wife.

"There's no need to follow anyone, anywhere." She scolded her husband. Turning to her daughter, she smiled, "Your gift is right here." She walked over and pulled out some papers. Unrolling them, she showed her daughter the blueprints. "We're going to build a greenhouse out here. That way, you can grow the herbs that are harder to find, right here. We originally wanted to build it by your birthday. But figured that, you'd want a say in it's design.

Morgana nodded, inspecting the blueprints, and then turning her gaze to the open field. "Yeah, I can definitely see it." Turning back to the papers, she nodded, "I love the idea of a two flight design, though we should probably add some pipes, that way plants like the elephant ear, that constantly need water, can receive it."

Arthur walked up to her next, "My turn." He smiled, before pulling her up, and leading her into the house.

Everyone else stayed outside, letting the two go off on their own.

Once, they were inside her room, Morgana walked over to her bed to reveal a single piece of paper on her bed.

Morgana untied the bright red ribbon and uncurled the scroll.

Her eyes widened as they flew over the contents of the paper, before tears began streaming down her cheeks.

Arthur watched her reaction, a small smile on his face as he knew without a doubt the tears were out of joy.

Arthur undid his bowtie, letting it fall to the ground, and opening the first button of his shirt to reveal a silver chain, as his thoughts flew to what he had done a month ago...

*****

Arthur had decided to pay a visit back to the Helstea house, surprising everyone. What shocked them even more, was the fact that Morgana wasn't with him.

Vincent had instantly become worried about his daughter, "Why isn't Morgana with you? Is she okay? Is she hurt?"

Arthur shook his head, "Morgana is perfectly fine. But I am here for a reason today." He knew he wouldn't have the right to do what he was about to do, without their complete blessing. So after setting the family down he had explained his proposal.

*****

What Morgana was holding in her hand right now, was a written down marriage contract between Morgana Helstea and Arthur Leywin. The contract clearly stated that the two would be promised to each other, and would be married once they were Morgana was 18, the minimum legal age required to be wed. But until that day, the two would be engaged. But, if either did wish, they could choose to break the engagement anytime of their choosing. Giving both parties free will.

Morgana turned around to find Arthur down on one knee. Holding a small box in his hand. Inside the box, resting on a purple cushion was a ring. One that brought back so many memories for Morgana. The ring was made out of platinum and gold bands. The two criss crossed around each other. Well a silver vine encrusted with diamonds wrapped around it. It had a fiery red ruby center that was shaped like a rose. And around that rose, three golden leaves, tilted at an angle surrounded it. And inside the band, the three words, "Love You Forever" were elegantly engraved.

She fell back onto the bed, as her legs gave out from underneath her. Her eyes then traveled to Arthur's neck, the bowtie, now on the floor, no longer hid the silver chain, or the ring hanging off of it. The ring is a midnight steel band. With dozens of tiny blood red rubies creating a line straight through the center. And inside she was absolutely certain that the words, "Till The End Of Time" would be engraved. She suddenly knew why the silver chain was chosen. And suddenly, it felt as if out of the diamonds and silk, it was the most precious item on her.

"Will you marry me?" Arthur asked, smiling.

Morgana laughed through her tears, "I thought we already were? My answer was a yes, and it will remain a yes."

Arthur walked over and slipped the ring onto her ring finger. He pulled her close, resting his head on her shoulder, the two just savoured the moment.

"Wait, how much did it cost to recreate our old wedding rings?" She asked.

Arthur chuckled, "Well… let's just say Sylvie and I put the material you've been collecting and the money I've been saving to good use. I was able to black mail people for the rare metals, and pay to have it recreated"

Morgana let out a happy gasp. "Aww, I wish I could have seen you," she said, almost pouting. Seeing Arthur black mail was a rarer sight for her.

Arthur laughed, "Yeah well, I'm pretty sure none of your contacts want to see me again. Especially after how I had them running around for the flame ruby."

"Well they're going to need to suck it up. Because you aren't going anywhere" Morgana told him, straddling his waist. "Also, not that I'm complaining but Wouldn't this have been a better 10th birthday gift. You know, celebrating entering the double digits and stuff. That's when I expected it."

Arthur smirks, leaning up with his elbows he answers, "I know you expected it on your 10th. That's why I had to do it on your 9th, to really surprise you. And plus, our marriage getting written up doesn't need a special date - it is one all one it's own."

Morgana smiled, contently. The two enjoyed each other's presence in silence until after a few moments Arthur opened his mouth and muttered out, "Take that you bloody ferret."

Morgana's eyes enlarged, almost comically as the realization hit her. "Wait a minute, is this all about you marking me?" She accused.

But her husband smiled at him shamelessly, not even trying to deny it he nodded, "Yep."

Morgana huffed, "You're unbelievable."

Running his hands through her hair Arthur smiled, "Please, you love it when I mark. Such a shame was stuck in nine year olds bodies, or they're much quicker ways to make those idiots back off and realize you're taken."

Morgana smiled, bending down to kiss him, "True, I do love it when you get possessive." She muttered contently into the kiss.

So, was it worth the hype?

Also, can we stop for a sec and talk about how nice the description of Morgana's ring was. Sure it wasn't all that great (nothing compared to the actual ring) - but I didn't completely butcher it like I would have two years ago.

Yeah! I'm actually improving!

Anyway, the next two chapters will be original as well.

Because in the next one, I'll be introducing Morgana's bond (A male wolf pup I still need to name - so I will be happy to take suggestions for that ).

And the one after that, well that will… be interesting to say the least. I had this great filler idea - And I just had to write it. Here's a hint - It's to all the women and girls out there. It's about something we all have in common.

Have fun trying to guess it. :)

P.s. I've finally settled down on who her father is. Yes, he's a character from the canon novel. No, I won't tell you who he is. Yes, I will be dropping hints about his identity. And won't just spring it on you out of the blue. There's this one huge hint I have planned out that will come up in a couple arcs. Wonder if you guys can spot it ;)

P.s.s. I also have to be careful now, because one of my stories got flagged for being too similar to the original. And it's really easy for the same to happen here, so I have to be really careful if I don't want that to happen, especially with this story where you can get scenes from the novel. Meaning I can't get lazy anymore.

Anyway, if this ever gets taken down. Just know that I have it cross posted on: , Quotev, Ao3, and Web Novel.
