"It's not even up to three days and you have already moved on to the next successful celebrity. I've never met a more ungrateful and shameless person like you."

I clenched my teeth in anger and tried not to show my emotions as she ranted. I didn't know how she had suddenly misinterpreted everything, but at the moment, I was too irritated to spare her an explanation. 

"You want him to hang onto another man's fianceè? What's that insanity?" Everleigh let out before I could say a word. 

"Do not ever refer to Valerie as such again." My hostility managed to shift from Lydia to Everleigh as her words were enough to rile me up this time.
