The final battle... The end 7

Before the shadow was defeated, outside of Sora's mind. the shadow punched away a Natsu who was in Surtur mode, but an attack landed on its back sending it forward. with a roar, the shadow disappeared, and everyone instantly saw where it appear, right above Irene and the others.

but before it could attack, they summoned a Surtur Natsu behind the Shadow, the shadow seeing it was about to be attacked disappeared at the last moment, leaving Natsu attack to land on them, they quickly tried to defend, but they got blasted away.

"Damn it, why does it seem smarter?" Irene said as she enchanted her and everyone injures away, while the others worked on supporting the many Natsu who were being destroyed at the moment once they turned away from supporting.

"he also got weaker," Mavis said softly, but her eyes instantly shrink when she saw something, that was not the shadow's main body. that was the shadow of the shadow. everyone quickly tracked down the shadow's main body and saw holding a black orb, it was currently sending its power into that orb.

As its power dropped, it turned to look at them with a cold smile that sent chills down their spine, before they could react, the shadow suddenly let out a pained scream, as if it was burning from the inside out. its body slowly turned to ashes, leaving nothing behind, but Sora who appeared fainted.

Everyone froze for a moment seeing Sora before they sighed. the battle was finally over, and they quickly teleported Sora to their side, while the berserker Natsu turned their attention towards them, but they had to find a way to calm Natsu down.

*CRACK*

the sound of an egg cracking sounded throughout the void, everyone froze for a moment before looking towards where the crack sounded from. the black ball shadow Sora held was cracking, cracks ran down the ball's body before it exploded, revealing black haired young man,

the black-haired young man slowly lifted his head with closed eyes, and slowly a cold smile grew on his face, while he opened his dark eyes.

"August..." Zeref said with a deep frown, Sora had sealed away August, wanting August to join him, and now August had joined the shadows.

"Oh? Granps down for the count?" August asked with a raised eyebrow while looking at Sora who was within one of the many possibilities of Irene's hands. His smile grew while he shook his head slightly,

"a talentless fool... allow me to show you all the true potential of the shadows," August said as his shadow turned into a perfect copy of himself which stood by his side, before it went on to split into more copies, quickly filling the void.

"... grand avoided trying to use the shadows to not strengthen the shadow. I mastered the shadows at first glance. this is the defense between trash and talents." all of the armies of August said with a laugh, while everyone heart dropped slightly.

"but you all fighting me seems boring..." August said softly before snapping his finger, all of his copies transformed, taking the forms of those in front of him. Irene, Erza, Mavis, the gods, the primordial, the titans, and even the berserk stat of Natsu

"... what should we do, I can't see the future," Chronos asked in a low voice that Irene can only hear, Irene opened her mouth slightly before she turned to look at the many other possibilities of August, maybe they could use them...

Irene suddenly enchanted the void, and with a flash, they appeared far away, just in time to dodge the countless other possibilities of August who had tried to attack them. the many August smiled coldly before she flew over to the shadow August,

"... he had mastered shadow magic to the point even his other possibilities are affected," Irene said with a heavy heart, but eyes slowly moved towards Mavis, who was slowly flying over towards her son.

"We only just met... I have so many things I want to ask you. you're my son, I don't want to leave you again... so please come back." Mavis said as tears slowly ran down her eyes, August froze slightly at his mother's words. The love of his parents is what he once dreamed of. sadly, he couldn't hear Mavis's words.

"Sorry mom, Gramps had covered my ears. I hear your words, but they can never reach me." August said with a cold smile, making everyone secretly curse Sora. Mavis looked at her son with determination filling her eyes.

"My didn't you ever tell me... you were by my side this whole time and you knew I was your father?" Zeref asked softly as he floated next to Mavis, Mavis, and Zeref looked at each other for a moment, and after some hesitation, they took each other hands.

"..." August frowned slightly as he was now surrounded by the many possibilities of Mavis and Zeref, all holding hands while looking at him.

"slaughter them all," August said coldly, the army around him flashed and attacked the many Zeref and Mavis. Irene quickly shot forward with everyone, landing their support on Zeref and Mavis, they had to help them reach August,

August was more powerful than Sora at the moment, but not everyone rushed forward. one Irene remained backward, trying her best to wake Sora up.

and so a slaughter began, everyone saw just how scary August was, with his magic power to copy everyone and nullify their magical power, they were left hopeless. before he could only nullify one magical power, but before them, August was capable of nullifying up to 5 people.

billion, trillion... no, the number was too high to count, too many were dying by the second, meanwhile, August laughed while bringing them back to life in the forms of shadows to support him, everyone slowly began to fall backward as they were horrified by August strength

"Please, stop." Mavis cried out as she flew towards August, but before she could near him, a barrier appeared, blocking her off from Sora, while weakening her voice.

"Sorry, I can't hear you," August said with a mocking smile before he reached out. Mavis shot into his hands. August held her by the neck while Mavis shrugged to be free.

"I see my gramps did this... you are annoying." August said softly, fully by him slowly crushing Mavis's neck. Mavis kicked around, trying her best to weaken August's arm around her neck, but it was pointless. In the end, she gave up, and held August's hand, while looking at August with tears in her eye.

She slowly opened her mouth, mouthing out something. the shadows created by August suddenly shook for a moment, seemly about to disappear, but August shook his head, and with a pull, he angrily pulled Mavis's hair, her head flew off from her body, with her spine.

"you will make a good staff," August said coldly. Mavis's spine slightly straightened, before it was covered with shadows.

"Mavis... Mavis!!!" Zeref exploded with death Qi before he shot toward August, August pointed his new staff at Zeref, form at the staff, and beam shot forward. Zeref quickly shot his beam toward it. but to no one shock, Zeref Beam didn't even last a second, as it was instantly overpowered

Another possibility is Mavis flashing, slamming Zeref, and pushing him out of the way at the last moment. Mavis's eyes turned sharp before she shot toward August, August's eyes narrowed, but just when he was about to fire at her, he notice all of the other Mavis shooting toward him.

"My Son is in there, don't you dare say he can't hear me." Mavis roared, followed by Chronos shooting into the sky while pointing far away into the universe.

"Now," Chronos screamed, August suddenly froze for a second as all of the Mavis disappeared just when he was about to attack. one of the Mavis appeared, hugging him.

"Where is my son? I refuse to believe you would give up so easily," Mavis yelled, causing August to stumble backward as the shadows around him grew chaotic, but suddenly reached out, destroying Mavis's head. Mavis's brain matter flew out, but the next moment, she was replaced with another Mavis

"I haven't been there all your life, but I start by bringing you back," Mavis yelled, only for the shadows to rush into her mouth, nose, and ears, causing her to explode like a balloon.

"stay away, or else each death will be worse than the last." August roared, but the many Mavis didn't care. they kept rushing forward, each time causing the panic within August's eyes to grow and grow, but he soon couldn't take anymore.

"Found you." August's eyes turned sharp before he looked far away, where a weakened Uranus was controlling space, making it so that Mavis and the others can bypass his barrier.

"No..." Uranus's eyes widened as he felt his magic being nullified, the next moment, August's army surrounded him, allowing August to calm himself down and return to his form step, but that would take some time.

"damn it..." Chronos said through gritted teeth, she had noticed that split moment where August was affected by Mavis's words. so because of that, she used Uranus who have been reaching the battle from the underworld, slowly healing his injuries.

"Sora! wake up," Irene said while shaking Sora, but it was pointless, seeing the slaughter which was taking place, she gritted her teeth for a moment before she spoke into Sora's ear while grabbing Sora's butt,

"you know, I bet I could enchant you to become a girl, and I could become a guy..." Irene said softly, but she suddenly froze as Sora disappeared. she looked around, and found Sora far away from her while holding his butt with a look of horror. he looked like a little boy who was wrongly touched
