5 Setting Out

Arriving in my office I sat in my chair and a plate of eggs bacon and French toast appeared in front of me with a black coffee. With Dumbledore sitting across from me we continued to chat while I ate my breakfast. "When do you plan to leave to look for students if you don't mind my asking?" I replied saying "probably in two weeks' time I want to have at least 2 students to train and enroll in the year following this one".

I also need to go to the bank to open a bank account at Gringotts and go shopping through Diagon alley. I may have been in the harry potter world for a while, but I can finally see the magical sight of Diagon alley. Bidding farewell to Dumbledore as he left, I sat pondering about my plans.

Two weeks later I woke up in my bed and got ready to set out on a trip to find the future Witcher's for house Wolfsbane. Bidding farewell I started my walk to Hogsmeade with Stella walking by my side. Arriving at Hogsmeade I made my way to the three broomsticks to use the floo to get to the leaky cauldron. Appearing in a flash of flame, I took stock of my room and noticed the run-down bar with a couple oddly dressed clientele, not that I could comment on people's appearance. Wearing black leather armor with a silver sword strapped to my back.

On the breastplate a white wolfs head was prominently on display along with a dark purple cloak hanging off my shoulders, I looked even more odd than the patrons in the bar now. Walking up to the man behind the bar I introduced myself as Wulfric and asked if he would be kind enough to show me the entrance to Diagon alley.

After receiving a positive reply and being shown the sequence to the alley I entered trying to keep the gob smack expression under control. Regaining my composure, I took in the sight that looked about twice the size of what they showed in the movies with a lot more shops than advertised.

After taking in my situation, I took control of my enthusiasm and made my way to Gringotts promising to return to visit all the shops when I get back from finding my future students. The bank looked exactly like the movie and after waiting for my turn in line I stepped up to the teller and asked to open an account, when the goblin went to reply he lifted his eyes and made eye contact with me he froze in place for a couple moments.

Coming back to himself he introduced himself as Sharpfang, and that he would be happy to help after filling out the forms required to open an account, I followed him to where they keep the highly secure vaults that need at least a one thousand gold galleon deposit to open. Coming to a vault door I tapped it with my wand as instructed to record my magic signature, I entered and opened a spatially expanded bag and dumped ten thousand galleons into a pile.

I had more wealth, but I kept it in a secret safe in my tower that I have not visited yet, but I wanted to be able to buy things with ease carrying a bag linked to my vault. After making my way back to the leaky cauldron I stepped out onto the streets of London, hopping onto stella's back and casting a notice me not charm we took off southward in the direction the needle was pointing.

Meanwhile a week before Wulfric was ready to leave Hogwarts, in a small town to the south of London in a run-down orphanage, a ten-year-old pair of twins were listening in on a conversation going on in the matron's office between the matron and a pair of men dressed in suits. "I can't give you any more children without drawing the attention of the constable."

The matron said to the pair of men in her office. "That is not our problem you promised to give us two children a month, if you don't give us what we agreed on the boss won't be happy. Our shops won't have enough labor force to meet customer demand if we must hire some goon of the street." They replied.

"I don't know what to tell you we don't have any more kids in the right age group and people were asking about the last two I gave you, if you want more you have to make it worth the risk." The matron replied. "Fine we will pay double this once but don't expect this to happen again." The matron smiled and agreed to the deal telling the men in suits about a pair of siblings that just turned ten and liked to cause trouble.

Hearing the conversation through the door the pair of twins Katrina and Stephen looked at each other and paled. Katrina was average in height at four foot seven with black hair sloppily cut off around her shoulders while Stephen was about four foot nine with almost the same length of hair. After listening to the conversation and having a silent conversation with each other they both made their way back to their room quietly and quickly and began to throw what little belongings they had into their backpacks before climbing out the window and making a run for it.

Spotting the tree line, they disappeared into the forest to hopefully hide from the matron and the men in suits. After walking for hours, the twins came to the city of Greenwich where they took shelter in an abandoned building after finding leftover food in some dumpsters near the building, like that they continued to hide in the building and scrounging food from nearby dumpsters for about a week.

It was then that one of the doors to the building they were hiding in opened and standing in the doorway was a large man with long silver hair and what looked to be a sword strapped to his back and a pair of amber eyes glowing from the reflection of the only light in the building.

For a few hours I rode on Stella's back as I followed the direction of the needle, coming to a stop about just outside of the city of Greenwich. I glanced down at the compass pointing to the city as Stella and I made our way on foot to the city.

The city was not the largest, but it could still be of pretty large size cars traveled on the roads older than what I was used to from my previous life but still a familiar sigh to behold. I almost miss the time before being put into stasis, the air was cleaner it was quieter the only thing that got better was the smell. The cities in the 900s were terrible with little hygiene unless magic was involved. Making my way through the city following my compass I came to an abandoned building in a somewhat busy part of the city, using my senses I could tell that there were two people inside.

I could also feel that they had magic that was locked away which was typical for squibs. Opening the door, I could see an empty building apart from two children sitting on some cardboard with some dirty blankets making a poor excuse for beds.
