Chapter 15

"What a beautiful baby" Serena said as she looked down at the baby girl she had taken away from her mother. "What happens now?" Amanda asked. "We'll we can't take her back to the coven that's for sure" Serena said. "And why not?" How long do we have to wait?" Amanda asked.

"Be realistic Amanda," Serena said, turning to her. "Do you really think Daemon Mason won't come looking for his child?" Serena asked. "Piper may be too weak after giving birth but her family will help Daemon as well" Serena explained, turning back to the baby in the crib.

"THEN WHAT WAS THE POINT OF ALL OF THIS?" Amanda yelled. "To show our existence," Serena said. "And to show them our real power," she added. "And when they come looking for this darling baby, they'll know for sure just how strong we are," Serena told her.

Piper sat in a chair next to the crib and just stared down at the little boy sleeping peacefully in it. "Have you thought of a name for him yet?" Amelia asked, appearing next to her. "It doesn't feel right naming him without his sister here" piper said solemnly.

"Piper..." Amelia hesitated. "It's already been a day and... well..." Amelia didn't know how to say it. She didn't know how to tell her little sister that her daughter may not come home. "Don't say it" Piper said, turning to Amelia with tears filling her eyes. "Daemon and Elliot and Tyler are out there right now looking for her and their going to fund her... their going to find her alive and their going to bring her back and I'll get to name her and raise her and love her" piper said standing up as she tried to hold back her tears.

"Piper calm down, you'll over exert yourself" Amelia told her. "NO!" Piper snapped. "If you're not gonna be useful and help, try to find her then just get out of my room cuz I don't want you here" piper said turning back to the crib. "Ok" Amelia said.

Amelia was silent as she slowly walked out of the room. Alice stood just outside of the room, before walking down the hall away from where Piper can hear. "She needs to realize that the baby may never be found,'' Amelia said. Alice let out a sigh. "Until the body of her child is in front of her she will only have hope for her baby's return" Alice said.

"She won't kill her," Piper said suddenly. Alice and Amelia turned in shock to see piper. "Piper, you don't know that for sure" Amelia told her. "Yes... I do" piper replied. "She said it herself she didn't want to kill them... she wanted to raise them... she wanted to raise them to be the greatest forces of good ever known" piper said.

"That was the only part I doubted," she added. "She could have been lying," Alice told her. Piper shook her head. "She won't kill her," Piper said before walking past them. "Where are you going?" Amelia asked. "To find my daughter," Piper said coldly. "You just gave birth, you're still too weak!" Alice told her.

"MY DAUGHTER IS GONE" piper yelled. "SHE WAS TAKEN FROM ME BEFORE I EVEN HAD THE CHANCE TO HOLD HER AND ON TOP OF THAT I FIND OUT THE WOMAN WHO TOOK HER CLAIMS TO BE MY BIOLOGICAL SISTER!" Piper continued to yell.

"And what are you going to do? Not even dad or DAEMON has found her," Amelia said. "Good," Piper said. "Because now I'm going to be the one to find her and kill her," Piper said before walking away.

"She's seriously lost her mind," Amelia said. "No," Alice replied. "She's become a mother," Alice added.

In the woods seemingly alone a large black wolf sniffed the air. It was daemon. He was on Serena's trail, and he had been since the search Began. He knew he couldn't return without his daughter, and though he wanted to be near his son, he wouldn't give up until she was found.

"For a powerful hybrid you sure know how to take your time." A female voice appeared in his mind. "Where's my daughter?" Daemon demanded to know. He knew it was Serena who had managed to channel her voice into his mind. But that didn't matter right now.

"Not too far from where you are, but I've grown quite fond of her," Serena told him. "I'll kill you" daemon replied. "It's possible I'd consider a trade... something in exchange for your dear newborn daughter" Serena said. "What do you want?" He asked her. "Bring yourself and Piper to angel lake and I'll tell you there" Serena said, before his mind went silent.

Daemon took off towards the back house and as he reached the edge of the woods he shifted back into his vampire form and put his clothes on before heading inside. In the kitchen sitting at the table was piper with a pendulum with a purple crystal at the bottom of it swinging it over a map.

"What are you doing?" Daemon asked. "Trying to find our daughter," Piper said. Daemon Leaned down to whisper in her ear. "We must go to angel lake in order to bring her home" he whispered so quietly even piper wasn't sure if what she said was correct.

"Let's go," Piper said, standing up, from the chair she sat in and turning to him. "Wait I have to say goodbye to him first" piper said pushing past daemon and running into the nursery where the baby boy was. "Look at how beautiful you are" Piper said petting his head with little bits of blonde hair. The boy had resembled piper though it looked as if he had gotten his father's red eyes.

Even Piper didn't expect them to have changed so quickly.

"I'll be back soon sweet boy," Piper said before kissing his head. "As Piper left the room daemon walked up to the crib where his son was laying. "When we bring home your sister you will have a name" he said before leaving the room as well.

It wasn't much longer before Piper and Daemon stood only a few feet away from Serena who held their newborn daughter in her hands.
