Chapter 11

Someone is standing in front of me. I can only make out the figure: tall, lean, probably muscular. His hair is blowing in an unfelt wind. His stature radiates confidence. My hand. My hand is holding his. He is pulling me somewhere, but I can't see past his head. And right as he starts to turn in my direction, a knock on my door. All I saw before I woke up was his smile, vibrant and illustrating love.

"Well you're not screaming so that's a good thing." That's the first thing Dad says to me.

"I had a dream." That's all I can muster. He nods faintly, looking concerned at my expression.

"Was it a good dream?" He walks into my room slowly.

"I don't know because someone woke me up before I could figure anything out." I give him a pointed glare. He just shrugs.

"Oh well. Your mom made breakfast casserole. I figured you wouldn't want to miss it." He walks out of my room. I get up and head downstairs.

Standing in my kitchen, presumably waiting for me, is the one person I didn't think I would see this early.

"Good morning Alex." I say without looking his way. I walk over to the counter and look around. "Where's the casserole? I only came down here for the casserole."

I turn around in time to see Mom hit Dad in the stomach. "You bribed her?"

"Well I had to get her down here somehow." He sits down at the island and I just stare at him.

"Why do I need to be down here?" I ask pouring a glass of chocolate milk.

"Well there is someone here to see you and you have already passed by him. What was his name? Alex?" He eyes look mischievous.

"And I already said good morning. What should I say? Why are you here?" I drink deeply from the glass.

"I'll just go ahead and answer that. I'm here to take you to school. Since you're going home with me, I didn't want you to leave your car at school." Dad snorts and I smack him on the shoulder.

"I don't drive but thanks. I'll be ready in a few minutes. Feel free to have some of the non-existent casserole. It's delicious." I head back upstairs to get ready.

When I'm walking to my room, I pass Sebastian's old room. I'm hit by a sudden wave of emotion. I rush to my room quickly and get ready as fast as I can. I'm not rushing because I am eager to go, but because the longer he is down there with my father, the more embarrassing storied he might hear.

I put on a pair of light blue jeans and a pale purple t-shirt. I French tuck it and put on my high tops. When I get back downstairs, I see them all laughing. Great.

"Let's go." I say passing by all of them and heading towards his car. His car is beautiful. A black BMW that is spotless on the outside and has all black interior. It has to be brand new. It has to be.

"Do you like it? You're gawking." He walks past me and gets into the driver seat.

"Yeah. It's a really nice car." I get into the passenger side and buckle up. I wonder how good of a driver he is.

Sorry for the short chapter. I needed a filler and I didn't want to leave you guys hanging. Leave a comment, like it, vote, the whole shabang. Thanks <3
