Doc was looking up Hudson's employment records. That was going to help us to know if he was actually home for us to visit him right now. It was a little nerve wracking at the moment. I was about to see the conclusion of the mission that I started out on last year. When I told Doc about what I wanted and then he promised to help me. It's been a long and tumultuous journey, but I was happy that I had come this far, and I wanted to see it through to the end.

If I gave up now. If I stopped trying to meet my biological father now, then that would make me feel like the Sirens won. They would have stopped me in my tracks with the dirty tricks and lies that they used. If I didn't go and see my father right now, then I was no better than a coward. And I was no coward.
