13 The Wheels of Destiny Rotates Unhindered

While the Count and his Queen cuddled... things, however, weren't so calm in China.

In a secret plane flying to Zhonghai; an Asian man sat intending to make this place his last perceivable destiny, he would never know what awaited him in this country, as his arrival encompassed the start of a series of events that would change the world truly.

His hands clutched a small box as he looked through the window, wondering where he should start his new life.

Unbeknownst to him, a lot of mercenaries, mafias and organisations knew his steps and were already awaiting his arrival to make a move.

He had many names but the most infamous was one shrouded with darkness and might.

Pluto.

Somewhere in Zhonghai, an exclusive place as it could be seen due to the many mansions and villas inside.

A marvellous white villa housed two people whose' grounds would shake under the incoming months. The sad sobs of a woman could be heard as she encroached into her room, crying her pain out, alone...

Outside of the room, downstairs an older woman in her fifties, with a graceful appearance did her job with an aggrieved expression, putting the dishes that she prepared but weren't eaten by her young miss, into the room.

She could hear the girl's sobs as they shook her innards and mind, but there was nothing she could do... She was only a caretaker. How much she wished, she had the power to change things.

That power would be given to her, and much more.

Life changes and so does the day scenery, this time, Alucard found himself in front of humming Catherine who was happily cooking... Something.

Looking around a marvellous villa located in the North of London held the pair together for their 'outing'.

Contrasting the luxurious and marvellous appearance of the white-goldish villa belonging to the Rothschild Family, the atmosphere was eerie at best with a nigh homicidal smell lingering through every corner.

Catherine was adamant in wanting to cook something for him to showcase her 'prowess', after their little morning, she was as chummy and clingy as they get, even going as far as scheduling a date for them once he ate.

She left her room that day and started spreading orders without even knowing she was charming her whole entourage around the palace, the orders were about how she wouldn't be available for the next day and that no one would need to know about this.

Since Buckingham Palace was inhabited by only her and occasionally Jane, her red-eyed servants all nodded meekly as she asked Alucard to take them to the North of London, discretely...

His discreet was to jump his way with her as she covered her whole body so that no one would mistakenly notice her, until reaching that Villa.

The Vampire Count continued sipping wine. This time, his Draculine bothered enough to take a few bottles of wine from the golden rackets. She didn't know anything about wine, so she let him choose.

"I'll start cooking dear~ please bear with me for a while", she said and gave him a peck before focusing on her job.

It had been an hour and Catherine had yet to finish... The count couldn't help but sigh in expectation when he remembered that through her whole 38 years of life, the most Catherine had done in regards to cooking would be spreading butter in a loaf of bread...

"Hum Hum Hum~" Hummed the Queen of Wales happily as she put whatever she saw in the coverts into her mix.

'Oh! This and this~, Oh! Sweet Chili! he will like this too~' she thought while mixing her 'potion'.

Her lover kept drinking the last wine he would probably drink in this life, a Chateau Lafite 1869.

*Fuah* he gasped with a sip.

"This is good quality" This might as well be one of Alucard's happiest and most expectant moments.

For the first time in thousands of years, he didn't know if he would live past this day. He trusted his immortality, but that shit looked dangerous even for him.

"Doone!~" She giggled at last and brought a plate to the marble table.

Alucard glanced at the 'dish' with a smile, finally! It seemed to be some kind of soup or stew, he couldn't really recognise...

Catherine sat on his side, very close and handed him the spoon, "This dish is called Welsh Cawl Stew. My mom used to prepare it for me. Dig in dear~"

Alucard smirked and took the spoon, he then prodded by putting one of his fingers inside, and the moment his finger sank into the 'stew' smoke started coming out of it.

...

He took out his finger only to see melted flesh getting quickly repaired by his regeneration.

He licked his lips and turned to her with slightly narrowed eyes, "Where is yours, my Draculine?"

The Queen tilted her head cutely and then hit her fist in realisation! "Oh! I was so focused on making yours that I forgot~"

'How convenient...' he thought offhandedly, the most ridiculous part was that she wasn't lying, she truly forgot.

He closed in and smelt the Green and bubbling liquid, yes... Green and bubbling.

*Fua* He gasped at the smell.

"I didn't know you were such a good scientist my Draculine, this is clearly nuclear", he sighed with admiration.

"Huh?"

"That's the way we Romanians characterise good food when it is Nuclear is because it is tasty~", said the Count, not wanting to damage his Draculine's feelings. Moreover, he wanted her to cook like this.

"Really? I'm Glad!~" putting her hand on her cheek she hummed happily.

Taking the spoon, Alucard filled it up and brought it into his mouth.

"UGH!" he grunted the moment the liquid passed through his throat.

*SHHH!* Opening his mouth slightly as his body shook, a great volume of vapour came from his mouth, slightly worrying Catherine, that wasn't normal.

And a green and bubbling stew was!?

Alucard could vividly feel how his internal organs were burned and melted at a high rate... Sadly, it didn't beat his regeneration speed.

But the feeling of being one inch nearer to Death was wonderful.

After thoroughly tasting her dish, he sighed, "It's very tasty, but it needed a little more poison and acid."

"Heh?" Catherine thought she heard wrong.

"I said it needs more parsley and aioli~" he flashed her a smile and kissed her cheek softly, not wanting her to taste her own food, or she might really die, "Thank you my Draculine~"

Catherine just hugged him happily for the next half an hour as Alucard finished his 'meal'.

Each spoon brought him one inch closer to death, one of the most interesting meals yet.

"Dear~ Can I ask you a favour?" Catherine suddenly asked after he finished.

"What is it?" He asked with furrowed brows.

"I want to see the continuation, of your memories... with her." She asked with shining eyes.

"Continuation? Of what moment exactly?" Hopefully, it wasn't one of his and Sera's nightly Rendevous, though he wouldn't mind showing her that too...

"After that first time, she drank your blood you were going to help her avenge friend... I want to see what happened next!"
