Jaden glanced at Zuri. "What?"

"We would find out who that person is…" Zuri explained. "I would help you in any way that I can, Jaden…I'm here for you," she promised. "We are in this together, Prince Jaden."

Jaden's heart swelled in his chest. Somehow, he felt lucky to have Zuri at his side. He felt lucky that she had been the one who had come into Tranmere when he was searching for an assistant and now she had become more than that to him.

'Who's she to me?' he thought as he averted his gaze from her lovely face and continued with his meal with a nod of his head.

"Sit down, Zuri…" Jaden said.
