I Did It Just Because Of Her

Everly, who seemed to have caught a glimpse of Rose coming after them from afar, shut the door once she stepped into the restroom with Valerio.

She grabbed one of the white towels distributed inside the restroom and soaked it up a bit.

She squatted down and began to clean off the stains on his pant.

"Is it too bad?" Valerio abruptly asked in concern.

Everly looked at the not-so-terrible stains and shook her head at him.

"I wouldn't say it's that bad. Don't worry, I will clean it off." She smiled at him and continued to remove the stains; however, her eyes suddenly narrowed in the next moment when the continuous clicking of heels sounded in her ears.

"Is someone coming?" Valerio inquired having heard the footsteps too, and Everly took a deep breath.

Her grip on the towel tightened, and at the last minute, before whoever it was could open the door, she dropped the two and stood up.
