They arrived at Nix's hospital as fast as possible and called for help.

The nurses helped him transfer Vincent, who had fallen unconscious along the way, into the wheel bed. They rushed him to the emergency room, and Nix immediately proceeded to start an emergency operation on him.

Valerio, who was outside the emergency room too, began to pace back and forth in panic.

"Shit! Dammit!" He groaned in pain and ran his fingers through his hair.

If only they had been a bit faster. If only they had looked for him sooner instead of assuming that he was fine, maybe he would have been fine.

He sat down on the bench and buried his face in his palm.

"I am so sorry." He apologized and pleaded desperately within himself that Vincent would be okay.
