18 Supreme Five Swords

Tokyo, Japan,

In a dim room with the only source of light being an open window, a total of five individuals could be seen present. Four were sitting on sofas directly across from one another and one stood near a board which had a white light fixed at it's head, a few pictures were pinned on the board and a few things had been written with a red marker. Apart from that, the room had an empty office table and chair next to a window and the floor and to some extent the walls were covered with furnished wood.

What stood out the most here was that these five individuals were girls, not one male was present among them and each of these girls carried swords on them, apart from a blonde with her hair styled in drills which had a rapier by her waist, the rest possessed katanas with varying types of hilts and sizes. "We have another problem." the standing black haired girl said in a serious voice, lightly slamming her hand on the board, she had her katana on the left side and wore an Oni mask that covered only her right eye.

"Another one? The tenacity of the Japanese is something surprising." The blonde from before answered throwing her hair to the side, since when were the Japanese like this? Weren't they supposed to be peace loving people? That's what her French upbringing taught her though. Her name was Mary Kikakujou, someone that hailed from France and was extremely skilled in fencing, she had on multiple occasions sent male students to the hospital by damaging their central nerves with piercing strikes.

"Hahaha, I'd like to take that as a compliment." Another blonde girl of short stature said with high pitch laughter that most would think of as cute, Warabi Hanasaka, like the two that spoke before her, she too was one of the Supreme Five Swords, the de facto ruling body of this Academy. "What's soooo fun? Tell me too." A tall green haired girl sitting near her said out loud, tilting her head, she had large golden fishlike pupils that would be fairly unsettling to look at, Satori Tamaba. As soon as she spoke, the other two completely quieted down..... this girl was just pure unsettling.

"Do go on." A pale young girl with long white hair tied in pigtails added turning her head towards the black haired girl. Tsukuyo Inaba, the youngest member of the Supreme Five Swords who had skipped grades and came here, was a genius with a sword while being blind. Her keen hearing however allowed her to know more about her surroundings than a person with sight. She was arguably the strongest member as well.

The girl with the mask, Rin Onigawara, nodded with a serious face, "We have a new transfer student, Samuel Hayes." She pointed at a picture of Samuel, it was just him smiling as he scratched the back of his head, a completely normal picture that would make the hearts of the inexperienced flutter. She looked at it for a few moments before turning around, "Despite how he looks, this student is infamous as the King of Delinquents, even in our school. I'm sure you've heard of him from the more unruly ones." Her words made the others nod in agreement, as a school for the rehabilitation of juvenile delinquents, naturally they had met students who mentioned the man.

"He might be the worst one yet." Mary folded her arms under her chest, he looked attractive and harmless but still, his eyes were unsettling, almost as much as Satori. "He's been transferred from prison to prison for acts of extreme violence and was let out only some time ago. Somehow... he has been sent to us." Rin said folding her arms as well, this was quite unprecedented.

First Nomura Fudou, the man who had hospitalised more than 40 people and was currently running wild here and then someone even worse than him was sent to them. Samuel Hayes would surely be the strongest opponent they would face after the 'Empress'. "Now then." She turned towards her fellow students, it was time to decide who would go after him first.

But before they could proceed with their discussion, something none of them could even fathom happened. A figure darted past them at speeds they couldn't perceive and ripped the picture off the board, appearing some distance away as the Supreme Five Swords took up their weapons, ready to fight. "Why....are you here?" Rin spoke out in a difficult voice, they had fought this person before and been beaten badly as a result.

"This.... is Samuel isn't it?" the new arrival spoke staring at the picture, her voice was slightly haggard. Only after certain things leave do you realise their importance, her only company for years, someone who didn't fear or avoid her, someone who did as he pleased, someone who she couldn't oppose even if she tried, someone overwhelming in all aspects! He had replicated the techniques of their school in a day and there was no reason for him to stay there at all, when asked by her he had replied with, "I'd rather not abandon one of the few friends I do have."

Someone who painted this grey, boring world in his own colours! An enigma, a genius beyond herself! That is who Samuel Hayes was to this person! She hadn't seen him after he was sent to prison for murder but for her to not recognise him was impossible! She had even gotten him a gift wanting to accompany him before their relationship was ruined by a simple murder.

The Supreme Five Swords were taken aback by her behaviour, the Empress Kirukiru Amou who had ruined their iron clad rule in a matter of days was now breathing heavily with a hand over her chest. There was this sneaking suspicion that the Empress knew the new arrival but that would make things go very wrong, very fast. They could only imagine what would happen if the two were to ally themselves.

A few moments passed in silence before Amou recollected herself, she coughed and looked at the Supreme Five swords with a mocking smile on her face, "If you wish to try to take him down, you can try but be prepared to die for it." She started walking away with those words, the picture still on her person, she wasn't giving them this! "And he won't be the one doing it." Amou said, licking her lips as she took one glance at the unmoving girls behind her, all of them had their swords out, ready to fight her at any moment.

She had just now threatened all of them.... and that was... frightening to Mary and Rin, annoying to Warabi and Tsukuyo and simply amusing to the odd apple of the five, Satori. She stood up, slightly swaying as she did, "I'll dooooo him."
