Samuel POV,

Atop a grass covered hill, two individuals sat beside each other. Going by the colour of their skin and hair alone, one might think they were siblings. At the same time however, that was where the similarities ended. Samuel had a completely calm and laidback demeanour while Echidna had an apprehensive gaze, a small teasing smile ever present on her rather lovely face.

"That's it then?" Samuel asked, glancing at the witch from the corner of his eye, if that was it then he had things to get back to. "You could at least be grateful." Echidna huffed with a small pout, folding her arms as she averted her gaze. She had expressed her worry as a maiden pure of heart.

"But yes, that's it." She nodded at him, making the silver haired teenager stand up to leave.

"I'll be observing your career with great interest." Echidna said rather seriously which in turn made Samuel facepalm, "Of all the things.." she chose to go through the memes as well... Now he hoped she didn't start doing jojo poses.

Echidna giggled at his response, holding a hand over her mouth,

He smiled slightly, doing a small salute, "Oh and, that dress looks nice on you... though, I figured as much." Samuel then simply vanished from the dreamscape. She had changed into a sleeved black sweater, a black skirt and unironically, black stockings and he admitted, it did genuinely move him... not that he would let it show though.

Echidna's laughter stopped short, her mouth opening and closing several times as a small blush spread on her pale face. She had seen all his memories, his passion, it would be unnatural if she didn't develop some attachment to the person that intrigued her so after that. She was a maiden after all.

Samuel opened his eyes to see his simple room once more, now then, he had come up with a way to gain more than enough money to support himself rather well. Youtube was a thing at the moment and the year was 2016. Gaining traction on the platform was fairly easy as compared to the later years and he had the perfect content.

What was it? One might ask.

The answer to that was simple, posting videos of and streaming the fights he had on missions from the group chat. The layman wouldn't think that said videos were real and would understand it as really good choreography and animation... something like live action.

Samuel started up his laptop, quickly made an account and set up a channel. He then transferred the videos of him fighting Garfiel and the Great Rabbit to it. To reinforce the idea that it was simply animation, he named the channel, "Bread VFXworks". Certainly movie making companies would try to hire him for his animation 'skill' and as such, he didn't reveal anything about himself in the description... He had zero skill regarding the matter after all.

'That's.... quite ingenious of you..' Echidna praised his idea, it was certain to work out. People craved entertainment no matter the age after all and certainly, something as outlandish and high quality as his 'animations' would gain a great amount of viewers, generating a rather immaculate profit.

The people who saw it could never know that what they saw was actually real and even if someone said it, no one would believe them. Such a thing was absolutely impossible after all.

Samuel rubbed his chin with a small grin, who said you need a part time job? This would earn him more than enough if it worked out. Once the two videos were uploaded, he slumped back on his chair with a relaxed smile.

He would be ignoring any and all offers made to him though, it wasn't what interested him after all. It was simply a means to an end.

The exchange of words in the videos would further reinforce the idea of it all scripted and choreographed.

With that, Samuel made his way to the bed. Falling asleep in a matter of moments what with his perfect control over his body.

The Next Day,

"We're off then." Samuel waved goodbye to his mother, holding Rin's hand as the two walked. As was the norm, he would first drop her off then go to his own school. The Sun shone overhead in a clear blue sky, it's rays illuminating everything below.

Vendors set up their stalls, shops were opened and a good few students could be seen headed towards their individual schools.

Samuel walked on the road with a small smile on his face.

At this time, someone rushed up to him from behind, "Aren't you the person from yesterday? How's it going?" The blonde girl smiled cheerfully, rather jumpy as she looked at Samuel.... Samuel himself however, narrowed his eyes somewhat annoyed, "Good morning."

Why was she wearing the Aichi Academy Girls uniform?

'She's acting.... but you knew that already.'

"Ah, did you notice? I had to transfer because of family reasons.." Her cheer died down considerably mentioning her family. "Hmm." Samuel had no idea how to talk with her, she was acting and it just made him cringe inside..

Rin looked at the exchange in silence, she couldn't help but think that her brother had too many female friends.

"Would you mind if I came along? I saw you also attend the same school and... I don't really know the area well..." She smiled cheekily, somewhat 'embarrassed' by her situation.

"Well, rather strange that you'd accompany a stranger." Samuel smiled... and at that moment, she felt mocked.

"Ehehe, I guess you don't really feel dangerous.." She 'squirmed' in place, holding her hands together..

....Rin felt something was wrong with the girl.

"Oh?" Samuel looked at her incredulously, this was going to be rather fun actually.

"Samuel Hayes, a pleasure." He held out his hand with a small smile.

"Umm, you can call me Haysaca." She shyly took his hand, slightly shaking it before quickly pulling her hand back. (A/N: That's not a typo, this persona is called Haysaca.)

Rin looked between her brother and the girl, ".....I'm still here." she said rather plainly to the two teenagers who were laughing at the moment... The laughs felt strange though.. Were they having some kind of competition?

Samuel now walked calmly, Hayasaka right beside him with her arms behind her back as she skipped along rather than simply walk. "So Ha-"

"Samuel is alright, I insist." Samuel smiled with closed eyes, he wondered how long she would be able to keep it up.

"Wha? Is it really okay?" She tilted her head, leaning forward with a curious and surprised expression.

"Mhm." Samuel nodded lightly, it was perfectly fine.... yes perfectly fine.

"Theen, Samuel-senpai!"

"...." A tic appeared on his forehead, that was a certainly.... out there, way to address someone. It was apparent from appearance alone that he was older than her so it was understandable but still.. It was somewhat strange to be called senpai.

"Then senpai, do you mind if I go to school with you? The gang activity has been increasing a lot lately... It's kinda scary to be alone." Hayasaka hugged her shoulders, slightly 'shuddering' in fear.. No such feeling was actually present though.

"Why not just have someone drive you here?" Samuel asked with a small teasing smile, yeah this was pretty fun. Poking at her act and all... Rarely did he encounter such people so he couldn't really be blamed.

"Ah my family is in a bit of a.... tough spot." Hayasaka scratched the back of her head embarrassedly, her family was rich as hell.

"I see, my bad." Samuel slightly bowed his head in apology, 'You're gonna get bored eventually.'

"Eh no, I'm sorry for ruining the mood." She slightly giggled as they walked together..... Hayasaka's mission for now, have him do something with her which could be used to break off Kaguya's engagement.

Would it really work as she hoped though?

The Aichi Academy arc is about to end soon. It was never really supposed to be extremely long anyway, at the same time, any high school you wanna suggest for Samuel? Needless to say, whatever you might suggest, it would have characters from a rather large number of series.

Echidna and him are developing nicely.
