Nostalgic Longing
"I'm not your wife!" Delilah's reply was resolute, her voice unwavering and determined.
"You still haven't filed for divorce, begum (wife). So, unfortunately for you, you still belong to me," Ibrahim retorted, oozing smugness, his tone reveling in victory.
"To hell with you, Ibrahim!" Delilah shot back, her words seething with anger, her voice cutting through the air like a knife through butter.
"Shall we move inside?" Ibrahim's tone shifted to something more intimate and suggestive as he playfully invited her to a private space in Urdu.
"What?" Delilah responded with confusion, her voice revealing her uncertainty since she didn't understand Urdu.
"I meant, let's take this to the room. I'm not going to display my affection for my begum (wife) in front of everyone," Ibrahim clarified, his tone blending teasing and flirtation with a touch of humor.
"Shut up!" Delilah's words were practically a growl now, her tone dripping with irritation as she demanded he stop.
"Why don't you make me, Begum (wife)?" Ibrahim's tone turned audacious, his voice issuing a challenge.
